My first experience with black shadows

I came to the conclusion it was her, because when something bad happens somewhere in the world, like mass-killing or something, people starts to see black shadows also, and having nightmares, so I logically, tried to find the source of it, and I think it was her

Will say though, two weeks ago I had a eye operation
when it was done they told me if I saw shadows I was to come back at once.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world He gave His only son that who so ever believes in Him shall have ever lasting life. Ask Him into your heart.. He gave all those that believe in Him all power over the enemy. There is no fear with Him. With Him they have to leave with out Him .. a good luck.. but there is no such thing as luck.

These sound to me like classic symptoms of a hypnagogic hallucination. These occur when one is on the verge of falling asleep, or waking up. Often associated with sleep paralysis.


Hallucinations during sleep paralysis fall into three categories.

• Intruder hallucinations: These hallucinations involve the perception of a dangerous person or presence in the room.

Often women have a love-hate relationship with men. They see men as being abusive and in some cases they have been abused by a man. The story goes that they want love and positive affirmation but they attract abuse.

There seems to be an issue where reality does not line up with the fantasy of what they get themselves into. I do not think women really get it or fully understand until they are 30.

I live on a street where a lot of people walk their dogs. I see pretty women going by with a little dog and I think that is cute. Then the next woman comes along with a big mean looking dog. My thoughts are that she had been attacked or abused and she got that dog to make sure nothing like that ever happens again. I have no way of knowing if that is true or just my imagination working overtime. Maybe someday I will ask one of them and see. People can be pretty friendly if you want to talk to them.

If you check the internet, you will see that 20% of children are evaluated for sexual abuse. That could very well be a historically low number of people. My father and both my brothers are doctors that specialize in children, so they deal with that. But they almost never talk about it, unless you ask them a direct question.

Some people say that abortion is the ultimate child abuse. But you go to heaven and they are quick to want to forgive their parents and be reconciled with them. Corrie Tan Boon talked about the meanest guard in the concentration camp that she was in with her sister. He said that he knows God forgives him, but did she?

The answer is no she did not. But she allowed God to do work in her and over time God can perform miracles so she was able to forgive him. In fact, that ability to forgive is our ticket to Heaven. Everyone gets along there. We may fight and argue and war here on Earth, but we will all get along and love each other in Heaven.

This Friday I had one more, one is not put to sleep, they give drops which work benumbing.

This Friday however the doctor touched a nerve, a sudden jolt of pain,

after leaving the hospital it started to get worse, I can tell that all energy ran out of me,

I can say it was extreme agony, like having red hot needles piercing the eye.

It was about 30 km to the hospital, and heavy snowfall, it was my wife from before who drove me,
she took contact with the hospital and they said we were to come back as quickly as possible.

I was given two bottles of drops and I was to give eye ten times.

So I have given myself these drops friday saturday and today, something I have never done before, I have three more operations booked, but today I wonder if it is worth the risk.

Will say, thousand of thanks to my wife from before she has always helped me.

I had Lasik surgery about 10 years ago, was awake through it (they don't put you under for that)
They gave me a Xanax beforehand. No pain through the operation, worked well.
Didn't talk to me about shadows though or if they did, I don't remember it.

Have not had any personal experience with 'shadow people' encounters, but have a friend who has
(and she suffered a high level of traumatic abuse in her past)
I don't discount any possibility with regards to these things
I guess an interesting question might be, if it's not all in the mind and not a shadow of a physical object

Is it something that is dark and so looks like a shadow?
Or is in an actual 'shadow' of some bad emotional state that is somehow visible

Cannot help but think I should have listened to my inner voice, and stayed at home

God willing this tuesday I am 81, a little too old for these kind of antics.

Scariest shadow i have ever seen was Billy the Rottweilers next door!

It was actually Pipsqueak the Chihuahua with a bright light behind him.

I agree completely. I had one episode of hallucinatory sleep paralysis many years ago. I was in medical training, and had just returned to my apt. after a long, stressful, and sleepless night on call. Being too tired to even change clothes, I crashed on the bed to catch some zzzz's. I must have been in that limbo state, where I wasn't fully asleep, nor fully awake. I suddenly had a feeling that someone, or something vicious and threatening was in my bedroom and about to attack me. And I was totally unable to move a muscle. It was a terrifying sensation. But with a supreme effort of will, I managed to slightly flex my left little finger. And immediately, I was able to move, and the feeling of being imminently attacked disappeared. We'd studied about sleep paralysis and hypnagogic/hynopompic hallucinations. Scary as it was I knew it had to be related to stress and sleep deprivation. This was a good 40+ years ago. And I've never had another episode since.
