Find an outdoor hobby like maybe gardening or something. No reason you can't go outside, even take walks as long as you keep distance from others while doing so I would suggest staying 10-20 feet away from them should eliminate any problems with C19 infecting others. Find a schedule to do a minimum of things starting with trying to eat at certain frames of times and other mundane tasks. If your house is a mess then start cleaning it forcing yourself at first to spend 15 minutes at a time cleaning twice a day and working up to longer amounts of time per day as you get used to doing it. Watch an educational program of some sort daily for a half hour or hour to learn something else.

Hello, thanks for the message. i did walk today for an hour and it was good to get out and about. I dont have a schedule per se but i am making sure i get up and go to bed at reasonable times. as to cleaning, i did that today for at least two hours. the place is spotless and the garden is in decent nick.

I have drafted some pretty wild plans which include: cleaning the oven; re-siliconing the shower; and steam cleaning the grout between my shower tiles.

Things are gonna get crazy.i just hope the police dont break up the party.

Just make sure and not stay in the shower for long when the silicone is drying in case the police show up.

i mean , i'll try; but i could get carried away.
All in all I've found that having something to concentrate on or distract you from thinking too much helps a lot when you are stuck alone for a long time so you don't get carried away siliconing everything in the house due to excessive boredom.

im not sure where the thoughts come from or if they are mine

The treat them as intrusive thoughts and just acknowledge them, say/think, 'Yes that is right.' and move on giving them no more attention.

To me, if you are being lazy, then you can 'take things into your own hands' by doing something. However, we are told to trust in the Lord and leave it to His hands. is it therefore right for me to be at peace, when i am 'being lazy'? as i would think its in the lords hands: why worry?
I would say first you put something in God's hands >

"casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7)

Then we do what God has us doing. This is not lazy. He guides our attention to whatever He wants us to do. There always is something to do . . . including stopping and resting while God prepares us for the things and relating He will have for us.

So, then, may be He will have you do nothing about some thing, but there will be things He will have us doing . . . including praying for any and all people > 1 Timothy 2:1-4.

Praying with care is not lazy :)

Hello all,

So i am really struggling at the moment. i tested positive for covid ( i feel fine though) on Tuesday and have been isolating at my house (on my own) til now.

yesterday wasn't too bad, but today has been bad. i feel guilty because i dont want to do anything i.e. going outside and sweeping the leaves up or going for a walk (which maybe i shouldn't do anyway).

I'm also overthinking everything and worrying: "i'm lazy. i've always been lazy. this is why im so skinny, because i dont do anything.if you dont do anything you're going to fade away. i'm weak.God told us not to be lazy. you cant even be bothered to go for a walk" and so on and so on.

I'm sure that it is a testing of my faith and shows how weak it is, but, as i said, i am struggling.
Beloved one, if you perceive that you were overthinking, consider this, that we heard:

“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:8-9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Beloved one, meditate these things that apostle Paul have said. Learn from what you have meditated and received and heard of things that are of faith, and perceived in apostle Paul, these do and the God of peace will be with you.
To God be thanksgiving through Christ. Amen
