I mean I do but not in the way I worded the question. We have all this time to do stuff for Jesus but it's like we don't do it and I'm like, bad fruit. So do you ever doubt that people who claim to be Christian are actually on the narrow path to the Father? I was reading some comments on a Christian music video and whenever I see a comment I'm like doubt it or something like that. Ok, any thoughts would be awesome and know that this is meant to be encouragement for us to follow Jesus.

Jesus said that only few will find it (Matthew 7:14) and we Christians aren't few around the world, we are still the majority religion.

And Jesus will even turn away people who claim to know Him (Matthew 7:22-23)

I have to be blunt that based on the Bible, Jesus will actually turn away many Christians and will not be granted salvation.

I really hope that everyone will be able to go to Heaven but like the scripture is the scripture. The only a few find it scripture really gets to me.

Bad fruit...few that find The Way comes down to FAITH...without which it is impossible to please God. As we exercise that faith (everyone has been given a measure) it increases...which is a Truth in light of a kingdom whose increase has no end.

"We have all this time to do...stuff for Jesus but it's like we don't do it and I'm like, bad fruit." Sometimes our 'thoughts' on what is the 'stuff' we are to do is not in line with what the LORD has declared HE wants. (To intimately KNOW Him...not just know OF Him...) "Faith without works is dead" but the works we do don't always equal being from faith, but what we think is the right thing to do.

Faith increases good fruit (of the spirit) which increase can only come from God.

Let us test this to see if Jesus will actually turn away MANY who were christain.
MANY will say to me in that day
Lord did we not prophesy IN YOUR NAME
did we not do many good works IN YOUR NAME
and cast out demons IN YOUR NAME.
WHOSE NAME ..................HIS NAME.
ITS HIGH TIME , we get back to correcting the churches.
YE WHO WORKED , now let us pay close attention to this
Ye who worked INIQUITY. For the fruit of the wicked is TO SIN as its well written proverbs.

WHO are we doing the good works for is what matters.
As JESUS made very , very clear.
IF we do our good works to have recognition and praise of men.....we serve
the image of the god that appears in our mirrors . S E L F
not a good reward at that end.
IF we give to the poor, EXPECTING a prosperity gospel money reward
We gave in hopes of increasing whose kingdom..........OURS .
the love of money sure is the root of all evil.
WHY we do as we do is as important as what we did in HIS NAME.
Can we do anything apart from Christ . ONLY FAIL , only wallow in sin.
but can we by HIM do all things , overcome all evil, go and sin no more.
YES>
BUT ONLY BY THE POWER OF HIS GRACE. By our own fleshly attempts we fail
but by the SPIRIT we prevail .
OBEY HIS GRACE , OBEY THE SPIRIT and you will NOT , yes, WILL NOT
fullfiill the lusts of the flesh.
FOR IS IT IS JESUS WE FOLLOW>..................HE does not lead us into sin
HE FREES US FROM IT. THE flesh is wherein all evil is
if we follow the lusts of it................IT IS our MASTER
IF we follow the unctions of HE who is greater than he that is in the world,
the SPIRIT , it is our master.
For whom we obey we are its servants. Who we FOLLOW is where we end up at our end.
Better FOLLOW ONLY CHRIST , all else is sinking sand and saves none.

PS its all about Loving HIS sayings. IF we have the LOVE that comes from GOD
that LOVE , LOVES < HONORS TRUTH.
Not what man says is truth..........WHAT GOD SAYS.
that is how we know what SPIRIT we are OF
IF YE LOVE ME , KEEP MY SAYINGS ,
men are twisting everything these days
preaching a false love, a false freedom , afalse liberty
Any freedom, any peace, any love, or anything that Honors
not GOD , Not the FATHER, IS NOT OF THE SON but of the world
Beware many deceivers are in mass amounts of pulpits now
and soon the head of all evil willcome in the name of peace , love , unity
HEED IT NOT. Its wordly. Heed the SPIRIT
which has us LIVE by JESUS sayings , not omit or change them.

The charity which comes FROM GOD is KEY to it all.
FOR the LOVE that comes FROM GOD is the only TRUE LOVE their is.
anything which contradicts truth is NOT LOVE.
Charity is not what many say it is today.
THE TRUE VERSION is found in the bible , and this is HOW we know if we follow
the worlds love or GODS LOVE ALONE>
charity does not rejoice in iniquity
nor behave itself UNSEEMINGLY. Mathew pay close attention to these next few words.
The world and churches are under a false charity .
Romans one...........man with man working that which is UNSEEMINGLY
Yet more and more churches are calling being gay or gay marriage LOVE.
BIG deception . AND soon under the guise of false unity , false charity,
world peace..the world will unite as ONE under the man of sin.
and the wicked religion that honors all gods as equals has been born. INTERFAITH.
flee it , and let us read the holy scrips which make us wise unto salvation
through faith in Christ .

Especially if we are in the last days. In Noah time only 8 were saved. However I suppose many will still be saved then and I feel not a few (few compared often to the majority but jesus never said only a few will be saved in this generation but in total and Paul expects a time when there will be a great many saved when the Jews are saved) are serving the Lord I assume honestly like me but I don't consider myself yet prepared for heaven but for me I doubt if there is extremly few saved that I will be saved. If the bar to go to heaven is so high that only 8 of us are saved who many of us are honest I doubt hell could be very intolerable

But we know if anyone can not enter it is our fault and not God's. The whole city of nineveh repented. That is why Jesus said in the judgement Nineveh will rise up against those Jews who rejected Jesus and I think they will judge all the unrepentant of every generation. The saints will judge the world. Jesus judged the man who buried his talent because he blamed God as too severe or demanding of righteousness and if he thought that he ought to atleast have made some hard preparation for his eternal life knowing God is not just severe without righteousness so may accept if he deposits his money with the bankers . The same reason He condemned the cowardly in revelations because they used that as an excuse not to repent like the people of Israel who because the spies brought bad report they feared completely ignoring God salvation. There were so many Jews yet only Caleb and Joshua really had faith to believe in His promises and that He is who He says He is and that they owe Him obedience despite the many who reject Him for He is righteous. Therefore You have to trust God wants your salvation and is able to beat any devil. The bible says through one righteous act the gift spread to many if Jerusalem was willing God could have gathered them all like a hen gathers her chicks under His wing if He did to Nineveh how much more to those who were called by His name. The problem is not the great numbers in Christianity it is that the Lord is not truly received among the many though they claim to be Christian

The bible says we are surrounded by so many clouds of witnessses. They are to inspire our faith. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners of whom I am chief

These things are to give us hope but still to enter heaven the way is difficult because we are evil we should think ourselves evil

We need the Holy Spirit in order to bear good fruit.
Most people though don't even understand this. Even in most groups that seek something like this, yet without understanding and without obeying and without following Jesus.

Thus , a lot of confusion, on purpose , all over the earth.

I admit I sometimes think this, but many times when I do, I'm only reminded of my own shortcomings, which are still many. In my own walk with the Lord, I've come a long way from what I used to be, but realize very well that I am not where I should be. And who among us is? We should be "fruit inspectors", yes, but examining our own fruits in the process and realizing none of us have "arrived" yet.

We should remember the parable of Pharisee who was bragging to God in so-called "prayer" about how holy he himself was, how he did all the "right things", and even judged a tax collector who, at the same time, was pleading for God's mercy on his sins. We can read this parable in Luke 18:9-14.

And no, this does not give the license to "live in deliberate sin" (for those who at this point think I am suggesting such). But we as believers are all at different points in our walks, not to mention possessing differing convictions about a variety of things (so-called "gray" topics on which interpretations vary, and that can get confusing, especially to non-believing observers). Not only that, there is a right place and time for confronting people regarding this issue, and caution should be used so as not to come off as "hypocritical" (as imperfect as we are). It's very hard to explain what I'm trying to get at, so please don't be offended, as it is never my intent to stir trouble.

I'm not seeking to debate, or anything like that. I'm just sharing my two-cents from a perspective some may not have thought about. I truly hope this isn't seen as "off-topic", as this is the best way I can illustrate what I am trying to get at in view of this very topic.

The Apostles agree, in God's Word,
and the Prophets and the disciples - followers of Jesus immersed in Him living His Life, agree, in God's Word,
and they all , it is written in God's Word, LIVED IN UNION

"IN UNION"

with Jesus, and with each other, exactly as Jesus prayed to the Father in heaven that they would.

That's true, yes... but I think you are missing my point. What I am meaning by "arrived" is we haven't reached a total state of so-called "perfection" in that we will no longer struggle with weaknesses nor make mistakes, and whoever says otherwise is in error. When we are writing something in pencil and make a mistake, the eraser is on the pencil to erase the mistake when it is discovered, then write what we meant to write. And if we don't allow for mistakes, how do we learn? From birth we are in a state of constant learning, a process that will not stop until after the last breath is drawn. 1 Corinthians 13:12 points out that we are now seeing in a glass dimly and only know "in part"; it will be when we get to Heaven ("arrive") that all mysteries are revealed in full, and then we will know everything.

I hope this clears up for you what I am trying to get at. If not, we can agree to disagree as brother and sister in Christ and move on; I have explained my point the best way I know how. Like I said, I do not wish to debate.

God bless, and the best to you.

Actually,
from birth on, most people never learn, never are born again, never repent nor are ever forgiven for their sin.

At some point in the lives of ekklesia, same as in and throughout the New Testament, those who are immersed in Jesus Name, who follow Him, who are born again BY THE WILL OF THE FATHER (not the will of the flesh, nor the will of man, but of God) ..... are placed together by Him in the body of Christ, like living stones set together by Him (not by men) , doing His Will, DOing His Word (not just HEARers of His Word, but DOERS ) .....

and that makes all the difference..... mistakes and all, old baggage, if any, everything taken into account - YHWH knows all things, and provides perfectly, provided before creating the universe and the world and all life ....

and living while trusting and relying on Him makes all the difference -

through all the mistakes also, yes....

It isn't our job to judge other people's deeds or motives. Whether the fruit if good or not God will decide. But, at the end of the day we all fall short no matter what we do. It is all about grace not fruit.

Read thru the New Testament some day when you have time (make time soon if you care).

Many ekklesia are called / identified / by YHWH as faithful, perfect, holy, set apart, righteous, and "walking/living in UNION WITH JESUS" on earth in life now.

i.e. in the New Testament, there are those who YHWH says did not fall short.
They pleased Him, by faith, and by their obediene trusting Him, doing what He says.

even gentiles are said to be justified by HIM, those ones who "DO" TORAH, even though they did not have TORAH, they 'obey' from their heart or conscience, and YHWH says they are justified.
Meanwhile,
those who choose to fall short, do fall short, and are not justified, because even though they had TORAH, even though they heard TORAH every SABBATH,
they did not DO TORAH.
YHWH says it is the DOERS who are justified, not those who HEAR , but fail to DO.

I don't appreciate the comment telling me to read through the New Testament. I have read through it numerous times. The Bible is clear that we all fall short of the glory of God Romans 3:23.
I'm putting you on ignore or block since you can't seem to be polite

It seems unfortunate that it is a little flock which shall enter the kingdom and many do not even want to be part of the flock and it is not the fault of God for He says it is His good pleasure to give the kingdom and He himself wants to make us not afraid
Being with fellow true believers can help one as Ecclesiastes 9:4 says.
We gain encouragement and some help from the wise to help us make the decision to live for God and be able to sell what we have and give alms. But the bible says let none give out of necessity but because he wants to so we need a new heart and we must not be overly righteous as Ecclesiastes also says but perform the commandments applicable to God will for your life

Ecclesiastes 9:4
But for him who is joined to all the living there is hope, for a living dog is better than a dead lion.
