Whether the world is going to end tomorrow or 2,000,000 years from now, does it not change the fact that we still must focus living a repentent life through Christ?

That's exactly my point. So why worry about when the world will end? Just worry about the salvation of your own soul. For even if the world doesn't end tomorrow, your soul can be called for tonight.

From my understanding of entropy and this article is the Universe is going from an ordered state to a chaotic state faster that these scientists were think. Additionally it would me that the Universe is going from a complex state, suns, planets, moons, stars, the whole shabang into a less formal state which will leave no resemble of planets, suns, moons and again the whole shabang. What does this prove? The the Universe has a beginning! Which starts to discredit the other theories of the origin of the Universe. Once something has a beginning it denotes something, or someone had to have begun it.

I think you completely mis-read my tone. I wasn't "tearing down" anything. I was merely pointing out that it's not a point of concern.

"Just do this" means "don't do that other thing". Once again, "worry" does not even enter into the picture.
It is not an either/or proposition, Handmaiden. Most people have interests that include subjects separate from the subject of Salvation. Does it really have to be one OR the other, Handmaiden? Cannot one's interests and vocations be part of that Salvation?
Look, I'm sorry I have interests in the sciences, Handmaiden. I'm sorry I tried to share that with with you and the people here who I care about and consider my community.

Wow, what an interesting paper. I just downloaded the .pdf, its really quite fascinating stuff! Basically they calculated the total entropy in the entire visible universe, summing it up from things like SMBHs and such, tying the whole thing together with Big Bang Theory and so on.
You really should all go back there and download the full paper. Its quite fun reading.
