wear boots or shoes that have higher soles and make you a lil taller. I think pills could be damaging. Eat your veggies, work out and there's still a possiblity you might grow. I grew an inch more just through exercise in the army when I was 18yr.

I'm not male, but I could sympathize with you because I had the reverse living in Japan for 4 years and being 5'8". It made me feel really unfeminine and giant like. Esp. since guys ran away from me.

Discover the person God wants you to be. That is much more than being a couple of inches taller. Some of the most dynamic, fulfilled, worthwhile people I have met have been around your height, or several inches shorter in some cases.

You're the exact way God wants you to be. Why is being tall that important to you? Will it help you live a better, more full life? Will it bring you spiritually closer to God? If it's just for cosmetic worth, then I'd reconsider. Sure I think it'd be nice to look like Brad Pitt, with Sean Connery's voice, mixed with Robert Redford's charm. Be that as it may, I don't see those traits getting me any further in life than I could being me. I hope God gives you wisdom in this matter. Good luck in whatever you decide. I truly mean that.

That said, I don't see anything in Scripture against making yourself taller. Just... be careful if you choose to do so; pills for that (and similar things) often don't actually work.

Don't worry about it. Your identity is in Christ.
God made you who you are.
Rejoice in that. You are special in God's eyes.

Paul Newman is only 5-6" or so and he's still really really masculine!

Also, I know many guys who grew taller in college so your growth may not be finished yet.

Don't feel insecure. God made you the way you are for a purpose. I used to feel way too short because all my friends were taller than me. (and still are) But I now know that God made me this way for a reason.

Have you ever heard of Amy Carmichael. She was a missionary to India. She had brown eyes, and wished they were blue. So when she was a child, one night she prayed and asked God to make her eyes blue. The next morning, she got up and ran to the mirror confident that God had made her eyes blue. She was disappointed to find that they were still brown. Years later when she was in India, she was able to look like a local because her eyes were brown and because she stained her skin with coffee. If her eyes had been blue, she would have stuck out like a sore thumb in India!

You are created to be exactly the way God wanted you to be. He can use your perceived weaknesses to show Himself mighty in you.

No real use asking the question because there isn't a natural pill that will make you taller. Look at all the guys playing basketball that would pay huge bucks if such a thing existed. Do you know of any guy that enterred the NBA and then grows several inches? It would be worth millions to some of those guys if they could gain a few inches. But they don't because there is no easy pill at their or your age to take to get taller. Nope, doesn't happen. Don't be a sucker buying pills that don't work.

I have spoke nto people who are taller and often they wish they were shorter. They also frequently have poor posture which in later life will lead to other medical problems.
Also as someone who does find natural therapies useful I doubt there is a pill that can make you taller.

I don't know much about those pills, but I think that if they worked so well, almost every guy would be taking them.

Even if you did grow a little bit, do you think you really would be completely satisfied with your height? I'm a little under 5'9'' myself, and all of my friends tower over me, so I wish I was like 5'11'' or so. I guess we can never be perfect.

I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to change to way you look...it's natural, I think just about everyone does it. People who are tall wish they were shorter, people who are heavier wish they were lighter, some people who are skinny actually wish they were heavier...it's especially hard at your age. Not that I am THAT old...lol, Anyway, I don't think those pills work. Our society is so obsessed with appearance, it is sad really.

I know it's cliche, but it's on the inside what counts. Let your strengh shine through. Remember, God doesn't make junk.

Hey brother, I am exactly as tall as you. Sometimes, I think about the height thing but the answer to your problem is really to not think about it. The closer you get to God, the less you will care. The more you fall in love with God, the more you will love yourself. Trust me. If you are wondering about dating, a godly woman won't fall in love with your height, she will fall in love with your spirit. God bless.
