Yeah, we are living in the last days, just look at the two candidates we have. Both are junk compared to the candidates of a few decades ago. Also, we have the threat of Russia, China, North Korea and other foreign powers + nukes. If Oppenheimer did not event nukes, the world would be better off. Oppenheimer invented the first of the End Times tech in my opinion: The Nuke. In 2024, we also have social media, which can be dangerous as well, as both sides can use it to spread misinformation. Finally, we have artificial intelligence, which could be the most dangerous technology of them all, only time will tell if we use it for good, bad, or a mixture of the two.
We have many things to be praying about, don't we? ...

This is in response to, "Trump is vulgar, crude,
Since Trump became a 24 hours news item, that has been chanted
Now, the added "and has dementia"
The only reason for that is to remove Trump
I don't see it.
I see a man who speaks at rally after doing numerous interviews.
I woiuldn't want to keep his schedule
And for being on camera all day every day I find he is basically very coherent.
Also when Trump is "bashed" I consider the source.
If a Trump voter told me this, Ok, but people with TDS, no

I don't think he has dementia, or maybe he does. His personality is just very vulgar and crude.
Yes, he is old, and shows all the signs of it. But mainly, I think, he is getting bored with the whole thing. It's too much work, it's taking too long, and he already knows that actually being President is a lot of trouble. I doubt that he really wants it any more.

I think he wants the W "big league". The job, not so much.

This is a video of Trump talkinng to people without a teleprompter
If you aren't looking at him, he is as sharp as any younger person.

My mother died at 90. She was creeping around an old folks home with a walker but if I spoke to her on the phone, she was still the same intelligence, mental acuity, memory as when she was 30

Watch the video:
The "false witness" of Trurmps dementia is fully evident here

I agree that elections are not a popularity contest. They are a contest to determine who is best to oversee our country.

I would have thought that dementia would be a good reason not to select a particular candidate.
I don’t think Trump has dementia, but I’m not an expert.

IMHO, what you express is unrealistic and idealized. Trump is no savior. He isn't will to die for America. He is running to keep himself out of jail and because he wants power. There is a reason so many people from his last adminstration regard him as dangerous and unfit.
I guess we shall see.

I guess we shall see revealed many things, regardless of whom is elected.
It seems we are living in a time of 'great revealing' ...

Trump has gone at a remarkable pace, for a person of any age, and for many years now.

I'm glad the election is almost over, so that maybe he can take a short vacation before taking over duties as President. But of course, we are talking Trump here. Not sure it's easy to get him to take a vacation, but I believe we all do need a break sometimes! lol

I have been thinking about the "lie lie lie" chant that seems so popular everywhere
Every mispoken word, misremembered fact is labeled in big bold letter "lie" or now "dementia"

The Commandment is "thou shalt not bear false witness."

Its a judgment based on observations. No ones claiming a medical diagnosis has been made.

The reason "fake news" is called that is because so much of what they report is "false witness"
Editing, sound biting and camera angles to show a particular slant of whatever the news wants to rant about today.
I really try not to spread the slanderous stuff, and stick to the facts.

When I read something shocking in the news, or in a post, I try to research it out for myself, before just repeating what's been said.

Actually listening to Trump speak at a rally, conference, etc., has been very helpful for me since more times than not he is quoted 'out of context' by much of the media.

This recent charge that he has dementia? How very cruel, to spread that kind of undocumented rumor about him ... or about anyone.

So many of those now claiming Trump has dementia ... didn't see Biden's cognitive decline when he was running in 2020. Or just continued to ignore it. Human nature is really quite amusing at times ...

The signs have been there but the media was all focused on Biden and they ignored Trump.

He has been slurring words, using the wrong words, and can hardly complete a sentence at times. He is all over the place when speaking.

“Trump’s Pennsylvania Closing Argument Is Literal Junk,” Harris’ campaign said in a statement. “In a Pennsylvania rally speech his campaign team billed as ‘the beginning of his closing argument in the final stretch,’ Donald Trump focused on the issue most important to voters in this election: a deceased golfer’s … anatomy.”

<jokes>

Interesting that when Biden was viewed as having dementia, Republicans were hollering that he was unfit.
Now that Biden is not running, folks are noting that Trump is showing signs of dementia. He is rambling worse, distracted, has slurred speech often, and looks exhausted. He dozed through his trial and at the RNC. He is not up to the job.
It's never been about a reasonable weighing of the facts.

Is that what guys do in golf club locker rooms, look around at each others.... drivers... and compare sizes? Or was it just Trump doing this?

....allegedly (according to Trump), other unnamed golfer(s) told him this....it's really weird that Trump would remember that...much less using it in a campaign speech for POTUS...

He knows that's not what they mean by "1 wood", right?

(4 pages and nobody's made that joke yet? do I have to do everything?)
People probably let it pass because it was sort of um.... low hanging... fruit.

None of us are "saints", but most of us have enough sense to know that one should not be taking locker room talk to the public stage.
I am far more offended by the immoral disastrous policies of the Democratic Party than I am of locker room talk on the public stage.
