And again, you fail to answer the question. How is the sun lighting up the underside of the clouds, and why is the sun visible to the clouds directly overhead yet not visible on the ground when they are the same distance from the sun?

Does not work. The sun was not getting smaller and smaller like going to a distance. It went down, below the horizon, still of the same size, and the clouds on the horizon were lit from below. Sunsets happen in minutes, this also does not work with steady disappearing in a distance (if you do not want to propose some absurd acceleration in the end of the day).

If you cannot explain such common things, there is nothing to talk about, really.

This is something that you can test yourself very easily.

Watch the sun set while lying down. Then as soon as the sun has set stand up and watch the sun set again. This would not work on a flat earth.
