Are different Sabbaths true?

Brother, the Sabbath is the seventh day of creation, which took place at a specific site on the earth we know as Eden. When God established the days at a specific site on the Earth as recorded in Genesis in the following passage, He also established God's Date Line on the Earth, which humans have kept as a tradition established by God from the beginning. God's Date Line is near the International Date Line because the British did not invent the International Date Line but discovered God's Date Line and were able to shift God's Date Line a little to fall opposite Greenwich because hardly anyone lived there to protest the shift from God's Date Line from the beginning. God's Date Line was established in Eden from the first day. In the special case of the first day from first light to light again in the morning and subsequent days from morning to morning.

Right, the Sabbath is the seventh day. It starts at sunrise in Eden, which it turns out is sunset in Jerusalem.

Since the change from the 6th day to the 7th Day is marked by both sunset in Jerusalem and sunrise in Eden, it's reasonable to say that there's a dateline running through both Jerusalem and Eden. There can be more than one dateline, of course.

Right, there is both the start of the seventh day which is the Sabbath in Jerusalem, and also the start of the seventh day of the week in Jerusalem.

Scripture calls the Sabbath the seventh day, and says we are to work for 6 days. So there is a date line running through Jerusalem that marks the change from the 6th day to the seventh day.

But again, those aren't days of the week.

You shall labor six days, and do all your work; 14 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God, in which you shall not do any work.

Brothers and Sisters, that both are true was never considered in Amanda’s paper! Prejudices when reading the Bible prevent us from seeing a greater truth. When both truths have evidence, her paper mistakenly rejects one truth for the other, saying that one truth has “weak” support, when overlooked is that both are true because both have support. The following paper assumed that both together cannot be true when God’s word shows that both are true. One overlooked fact when comparing the two lists of evidence is that they are talking about different things: the first list, titled: Morning-Theory Texts, talks about the day of the week, while the second list, titled: Evening-Theory Texts, talks about the Sabbath, and the focus is not on a day of the week as in the first list. Both are true together when waived is the human assumption that a Sabbath in Israel is a day of the week in Israel as it was in Eden. The greater truth includes both examples of when the Sabbath begins. Summarized are both truths below:

1. The Sabbath in Eden begins at sunrise and ends at sunrise.
2. The Sabbath in Israel begins at sundown and ends at sundown.

To choose one truth and discard the other is to take your favorite parts and discard what does not fit, when the full truth is only found when you have used the entire word of God and not just a part. What the author did not consider is that there is evidence from both truths and that the greater truth must fit all the evidence. I include below the part of her conclusion that I object to.

Clearly, the evidence shows that the morning theory is weak if it uses Gen 1:5 as its foundation. The rest of the biblical data is inconclusive as to when the Jewish day begins, though the texts that we have examined either support the evening theory or only weakly support the morning theory. (J. Amanda McGuire, page 214)​

Our faith is trust in what God says! The author helped by gathering all the evidence for both truths, but because she assumes that only one truth is correct and the other is incorrect, she weakens our confidence in God’s word. She used the word “weakly” to decrease support for one truth, acknowledging that there is support, but setting aside what she considers weak support for the other truth. The whole truth is found when you accept both truths together. In the following passage warned are we that people will tend to ignore the truth in favor of what they “desire”, this is how traditions remain even after God's word clearly corrects them.

In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But the Sabbath, as the early church taught, was only a foreshadow to point to Jesus, who is the true rest (Sabbath), as He Himself said (Matthew 11:28), and not the seventh day.

Did God really not work on the seventh day? Actually, he would have to, because if he did nothing on one day, the universe would collapse. So He had to work even on the seventh day of creation to keep the universe together. So what does it mean that God rested on the seventh day? This was a hint to the crucifixion. For Jesus was crucified on the sixth day, and on the seventh day he lay in the tomb. He rested in the grave. This is what Genesis wants to tell us.

What Paul wrote for the future without him understanding his own inspired message, as Daniel did not understand his message for the future, is that the tradition of the Sabbath in Judaism is wrong and the Sabbath is another "day" than Judaism understood since Joshua. Joshua failed to understand that the Sabbath in Jerusalem is not a day of the week, as he assumed, even though God had taught Joshua for 40 years in the desert with Manna near Jerusalem as punishment for their disobedience, that keeping the Seventh day of the week from morning-to-morning does not enter God's Sabbath rest, which God prevented them from entering by forcing them to keep the seventh day of the week with Manna near Jerusalem. A "day" of rest, they later entered when they arrived in Jerusalem, a half a day earlier than the seventh day of the week, from evening-to-evening, different than when God prevented them from entering His Sabbath rest with Manna, from morning-to-morning.

Others besides me have noticed that the days with Manna were from morning to morning in the following video.

The video highlights that quail in the evening for a whole month was not mentioned that morning when Moses informed them to get a double portion of Manna to save for tomorrow and then on the next day's morning to eat what they had saved, because there would not be any Manna that morning.

That evening vast numbers of quail flew in and covered the camp. And the next morning the area around the camp was wet with dew. When the dew evaporated, a flaky substance as fine as frost blanketed the ground... On the sixth day, they gathered twice as much as usual—four quarts for each person instead of two. Then all the leaders of the community came and asked Moses for an explanation. He told them, “This is what the LORD commanded: Tomorrow will be a day of complete rest, a holy Sabbath day set apart for the LORD. So bake or boil as much as you want today, and set aside what is left for tomorrow.” So they put some aside until morning, just as Moses had commanded. And in the morning the leftover food was wholesome and good, without maggots or odor. Moses said, “Eat this food today, for today is a Sabbath day dedicated to the LORD. There will be no food on the ground today. (Exodus 16:13-14, 22-25 NLT)​

No mention was made of the quail that they later ate that evening because the first thing that would not be found the next day would be the Manna, because the next day began in the morning. The video highlights that the quail in the evening was not used to mark the next day, but Manna in the morning was used to mark the next day, which therefore obviously started in the morning and not in the evening.

“And say to the people, ‘Purify yourselves, for tomorrow you will have meat to eat. You were whining, and the LORD heard you when you cried, “Oh, for some meat! We were better off in Egypt!” Now the LORD will give you meat, and you will have to eat it. And it won’t be for just a day or two, or for five or ten or even twenty. You will eat it for a whole month until you gag and are sick of it. Brother, no! When God speaks of six days of work for each day of rest, He is referring to the establishment of the week at creation in Eden. There is no sixth period before the Sabbath in Jerusalem. The Sabbath in Jerusalem is separate from the week in Jerusalem. The Sabbath in Jerusalem is a reminder of God's rest on the seventh day of creation in Eden.

We already established that those periods are called days. So the change from the sixth day to the seventh day is marked by the sun setting in Jerusalem.

The Sabbath in Jerusalem is not called a "day" because it is a day in Jerusalem, but a "day" of creation in Eden remembered in Jerusalem. The context changes from where you are to its origin. The word "remember" takes you back to the origin of the Sabbath at creation in Eden.

Brother, no! When God speaks of six days of work for each day of rest, He is referring to the establishment of the week at creation in Eden. There is no sixth period before the Sabbath in Jerusalem. The Sabbath in Jerusalem is separate from the week in Jerusalem. The Sabbath in Jerusalem is a reminder of God's rest on the seventh day of creation in Eden.

The Sabbath in Jerusalem is not called a "day" because it is a day in Jerusalem, but a "day" of creation in Eden remembered in Jerusalem. The context changes from where you are to its origin. The word "remember" takes you back to the origin of the Sabbath at creation in Eden.

“Remember to observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of rest dedicated to the LORD your God. Brother, that is where Joshua made his mistake in the following passage! The Sabbath falls on the seventh day of creation in Eden but not on the seventh day of the week in Jerusalem, because the Sabbath is what God named His rest on the seventh day of creation in Eden and not what He named the seventh day of the week. The Sabbath in Jerusalem falls half a day before the seventh day of the week in Jerusalem because the Sabbath is separate from the week. A day of rest fixed in the time zone of creation that does not circle the earth with the week.

So God’s rest is there for people to enter, but those who first heard this good news failed to enter because they disobeyed God. So God set another time for entering his rest, and that time is today. God announced this through David much later in the words already quoted: “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts.” Now if Joshua had succeeded in giving them this rest, God would not have spoken about another day of rest still to come. So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world. So let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall. (Hebrews 4:6-11 NLT)​

Others besides me have noticed that the days with Manna were from morning to morning in the following video.

The video highlights that quail in the evening for a whole month was not mentioned that morning when Moses informed them to get a double portion of Manna to save for tomorrow and then on the next day's morning to eat what they had saved, because there would not be any Manna that morning.

That evening vast numbers of quail flew in and covered the camp. And the next morning the area around the camp was wet with dew. When the dew evaporated, a flaky substance as fine as frost blanketed the ground... On the sixth day, they gathered twice as much as usual—four quarts for each person instead of two. Then all the leaders of the community came and asked Moses for an explanation. He told them, “This is what the LORD commanded: Tomorrow will be a day of complete rest, a holy Sabbath day set apart for the LORD. So bake or boil as much as you want today, and set aside what is left for tomorrow.” So they put some aside until morning, just as Moses had commanded. And in the morning the leftover food was wholesome and good, without maggots or odor. Moses said, “Eat this food today, for today is a Sabbath day dedicated to the LORD. There will be no food on the ground today. (Exodus 16:13-14, 22-25 NLT)​

Brother, there is no dateline associated with the Sabbath other than its cycle having begun at its origin of creation in Eden. Only the weekly cycle that goes around the earth has a dateline associated with its creation in Eden. The Sabbath is separate from the week, falling in Jerusalem half a day before the seventh day of the week. What I mean is that there is no day before the Sabbath or after the Sabbath, as it falls on the weekly cycle that revolves around the earth. The Sabbath is God's rest that stands alone and separate from the creation week in Eden as the weekly cycle revolves around the earth.
