That's cool that you were able to find those. I've only ever seen colored rocks like that in one place and that was Mt. Zion in Utah.Yes, all natural. It like rocks you see in a stream, the colors really stand out. BTW if you get rocks that nature has already mostly polished and smoothed (like from a river or the beach) you can skip the initial steps in the polishing process.
The reason I was asking is something I've thought about making for years is, plowing up the grass in my lawn and making a glass beach of it.

Of course these are not rocks but glass naturally polished smooth by the ocean, but I'd love to have that for a lawn. It'd be beautiful, plus I wouldn't have to mow. The only thing holding me back is that I've never seen it done, and I don't want to be the weirdo non-conformist guy in the neighborhood. I'm a big proponent of conformity.
