Brother, all the days of creation end in what God called "night" from "evening" to "morning" because they begin with what God called "day" from "morning "to "evening". An "evening" can only occur after the light. Before the light there was "darkness" and not an "evening", those are different words that are not interchangeable. The word of God reveals that the Earth existed before the creation week. Everything that is before the light is before the creation week, an unspecified time before. The "evening" of the first day occurred after first light and falls in the middle of the first day. Making the days of creation from morning till morning, in the special case of the first day from first light to light again in the morning.

Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. Then he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day” and the darkness “night.” And evening passed and MORNING came, marking the first day. (Genesis 1:3-5 NLT)​

when we hyper analyze words we can lose focus of the goal of the text. In ancient texts, the goal is the most important part and the details are there to build to the goal so the details themselves are somewhat fluid. This is why in the creation account we see light created before the sun or other luminaries because in the text light is the most significant part of the text and it needs to come first. the order of the details presented as-is is not rational and this is a hint that tells us the significance of light and when we read the text we know how important light is.

light overcoming darkness is an integral part of biblical typologies and it cannot be dismissed. we see the same focus when Christ comes transforming the darkness (the old testament) and revealing the new in the light (the new testament). We see it in the believer that comes to Christ first in darkness then transformed by light. We see it in baptism first going down under the water (the darkness) then coming up in new life (the light) or in the resurrection first dying before being resurrected. these concepts are integral to the gospel and need to remain in the order of light overcoming darkness.

but it's not just perspective because of course you can just draw a different line of when the day starts but to me, it must end in light, not in darkness. ending in the light we have hope for things to come but ending in darkness the risk is the best is behind us and what is to come is despair. if all of eternity is seen as single day and darkness is at the last half we are all lost but if it ends in light we have hope for better things.

The reason God takes us to the beginning with the word "rest" is because the tradition since Joshua of the Sabbath is incorrect outside of the Promised Land. We have not understood God's definition of a weekday in Genesis since Joshua because of the human tradition in the Promised Land of the Sabbath as a weekday as it was in Eden when the Sabbath actually falls between two days of the week in the Promised Land. There are two announcements in the message of Hebrews 3 and 4 about God's "rest" on the seventh day of creation.

• First, they did not enter His "rest" during the 40 years that they kept the seventh day of the week with Manna from morning to morning near the Promised Land.
• Second, Joshua did not give them God's "rest" even though they entered God's "rest" in the Promised Land from evening to evening.

Those under Joshua did not understand the Sabbath lesson with Manna from morning to morning that God expects us to understand! The difference between the Sabbath with Manna for 40 years from morning to morning and the Sabbath in the Promised Land from evening to evening is that one is the seventh day of the week and the other is not. My church assumes as you that the sentence in Genesis 1:5 starts the first day on an evening, but it only gives the end of the first day as a "night" from evening to morning. The first day ends in a morning and not in an evening like the Sabbath in the Promised Land. The first day started before this sentence, in the special case of the first day from first light to light again in the "morning".

What is a day in Gods' time?

Note the sequence of events and word meanings...

• Darkness was first - Genesis 1:2
• Light came second - Genesis 1:3
• God separated the light from the darkness calling the light day and the darkness night - Genesis 1:4-5
• The darkness (night) comes first - Genesis 1:5
  
• The day (light) comes second - Genesis 1:5
• Together the the darkness (evening; H6153; עֶרֶב ; ʻereb meaning night)

So as shown from the scriptures, darkness and night is the beginning of the day and darkness and daylight comes after the night and darkness and together they make up a complete day. So the night and daylight together make up a full day in Gods' time.

The scriptures here simply stating that all the preparation and collecting and cooking of food was to be done on the sixth day and the next day or tomorrow was the Sabbath (night - day). So there is not a single thing that you have provided here that supports your teachings which are not biblical.

If your saying I have no answer to everything you have posted in regards to your teachings when in our past conversations detailed scripture responses have been shared with you in the past then you are not being truthful. There is not a single thing that you have shared in this forum that has not had a detailed scripture response and rebuttal to your claims here in our past conversations that shows your teachings are not supported in scripture but you choose to simply ignore the scriptures shared with you and repeat yourself without reading or addressing anything that anyone ever shares with you. Your putting your teachings above Jesus, the prophets, and Apostles and Israel claiming everyone of God's people do not know what day the Sabbath is and have got it wrong accept you. All you seem to do is say x passage confirms this with no real basis behind it, we just have to take your word for it. Where is the meaning? Where is the purpose? Brother, others also understand a day from morning to morning with Manna, but maybe the quail mentioned in the video was more important than I thought to convince those who prepared this video.

I remember that in the video it is highlighted that the quail was not used to mark the day, instead the Manna was used to mark the day.

“And say to the people, ‘Purify yourselves, for tomorrow you will have meat to eat. You were whining, and the LORD heard you when you cried, “Oh, for some meat! We were better off in Egypt!” Now the LORD will give you meat, and you will have to eat it. And it won’t be for just a day or two, or for five or ten or even twenty. Hebrews 3 and 4 tells us that during the 40 years that they kept the seventh day of the week near the Promised Land with Manna by "oath", they were not allowed to enter God's "rest" on the seventh day of creation. This punishment of not allowing them to enter the Sabbath, God fulfilled for those who died in the desert by forcing them to keep the wrong Sabbath near the Promised Land from morning to morning when the Sabbath in the Promised Land falls 10 hours before the seventh day of the week in the Promised Land. This change from the start of the Sabbath from morning to morning with Manna to evening to evening in the Promised Land did not benefit Joshua and Judaism has a misunderstanding of the Sabbath as the seventh day of the week in the Promised Land when God had taught during the 40 years in the desert that to keep the seventh day of the week near the Promised Land does not enter God's "rest" on the seventh day of creation.

In the event that it is at the other extreme, I say that it represents the longest route from Jerusalem to the International Date Line in the other direction. Okay, now... When Jerusalem is experiencing a 14-hour night, how can its sunset still correspond to the sunrise in Eden like when it was just a 10 hour night?

It's kind of hard to follow, I think.

To put it a different way, we have Jerusalem and some other location 10 time zones to the east.
When Jerusalem is having a 10-hour night, then sunset in Jerusalem and sunrise in that other location can fit.
But when Jerusalem is having a 14-hour night, wouldn't that make the sunrise in Eden 4 hours later?

God can say it better than I can when He tells us that entering His "rest" is so important that "we ought to tremble with fear". Aren't these words reason enough to learn how we "can" enter this "rest", guided by how God prevented them with an "oath" from entering those 40 years in the desert?

He tolerates a 4 hour difference with the changing length of the night, but not a 10 hour difference in what He tells us in Hebrews 3 and 4 about not entering His Sabbath by keeping it 10 hours later from morning to morning with Manna near the Promised Land where it falls 10 hours earlier from evening to evening. It's like a teacher who has the door to his classroom opened up to a point but closes it so that students who come later than a certain time can not come into his classroom as punishment for tardiness. Yes, that's a possibility.

I think it is possible to find a location for Eden in the southern hemisphere that has a sunrise the same time as the sunset in Jerusalem year round.

But I think they end up being 12 time zones apart. That is, if I'm picturing it right, and it's hard to picture.

You're probably familiar with this online tool. Maybe there is a place 10 time zones east of Jerusalem that will match up year round?

Brother, I found a sunset and sunrise generator based on the best mathematical algorithm given a latitude and longitude at the US Naval Observatory

Cool! So I'm looking at days 174 and 355 (approximately the summer and winter solstice).

I copied just three numbers, so it's day of the year, sunset in Jerusalem, sunrise in Eden:

174 18:48 07:00
355 16:39 04:51

So just add 12 minutes to Jerusalem sunset time and we have

174 19:00 07:00
355 16:51 04:51

I'd say that's close enough

A final piece that I'm trying to research on my phone but having trouble with is that when it's 7:00 p.m. Jerusalem, 7:00 a.m. somewhere else would be 12 time zones away, wouldn't it?

Again, it's hard for me to research that on my phone.
