So the Sabbath that starts at sunset in Jerusalem, that's not the start of the 7th day?
Brother, here is an animation to help visualize the relationship between the distance to the International Date Line and the prior Sabbath in the evening before the seventh day of the week in the morning in Jerusalem.

Thanks for the animation, but I still don't understand.
Brother, happy Sabbath! All the days of creation end in what God called "night" from "evening" to "morning" because they begin with what God called "day" from "morning "to "evening". An "evening" can only occur after the light. Before the light there was "darkness" and not an "evening", those are different words that are not interchangeable. The "evening" of the first day occurred after first light and falls in the middle of the first day. Making the days of creation from morning till morning, in the special case of the first day from first light to light again in the morning.

Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. Then he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day” and the darkness “night.” And evening passed and MORNING came, marking the first day. (Genesis 1:3-5 NLT)

So is that a Yes, the Sabbath that starts at sunset in Jerusalem is not the start of the seventh day?

Brother, yes! That is the message of Hebrews 3 and 4: keeping the seventh day of the week near the Promised Land, as they did for 40 years with Manna in the desert, does not enter God's "rest" on the seventh day of creation. The Sabbath is the seventh day in Eden, but not in the Promised Land, where it falls 10 hours before the seventh day of the week in the Promised Land.

Brother, the seventh day begins at sunrise in Jerusalem! The evidence is found in the creation week of Genesis. Brother, in Eden the Sabbath falls on the seventh day of the week! In Eden, both the Sabbath and the Seventh day of the week begin in the morning. The separation of beginning the Sabbath before the seventh day of the week is zero in Eden, placing Eden on the International Date Line on the map below with the numbers above and below. In the Promised Land, the Sabbath falls 10 hours before the seventh day of the week in the Promised Land. The Sabbath starts from zero to 23 hours before the seventh day of the week on the map below. The numbers above and below the map indicate how long the Sabbath falls before the seventh day of the week.

Okay, now... I think I see some issues with trying to match up sunrise in Eden with sunset in Jerusalem. Are you interested in talking about more details?

Brother, yes, that is correct. In my animation we have a 10 hour "night" and a corresponding 14 hour "day": 10 + 14 = 24-hour weekday. United in our hope for the soon return of Jesus, Jorge

Okay, now... If I understand right about how sunrise and sunset changes throughout the year,
if Jerusalem is having a 10-hour night at one time in the year, then 6 months later it's having a 14-hour night.
Do I have that right?

Brother, I think you are right. I consider extreme values as the important numbers that give us the distance in opposite directions. In the event that it is at the other extreme, I say that it represents the longest route from Jerusalem to the International Date Line in the other direction. In that case, I take the inverse: 24 - 14 = 10 to get the shortest route from the longest route in the other direction. United in our hope for the soon return of Jesus, Jorge

When you understand that a day of the week defined by God is from morning to morning in the Bible, you learn that Jesus rose a Saturday night, before Sunday began in the morning. This removes the reason to keep the human Sunday tradition to celebrate the resurrection because Jesus rose on Saturday and not on Sunday.

Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance. So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!” (John 20:1-2 NIV)
in a Jewish method of looking at days, Jesus rose the day after Sabbath. The moment the sunsets is the onset of the new day. Genesis also shows us the same order as each day is ordered the same "And there was evening, and there was morning" which follows the same order of the light which is spoken into darkness. The darkness preexisted the light but the light overcomes it. this is a powerful metaphor and it is important that the order remains the same because when we come to Christ we are in darkness and light then transforms us. If it were light first then darkness this falls apart and the order is confusing and has no spiritual impact not to mention taking away from the prophetic. Light is spoken into darkness and that is a theme throughout the bible. There is an abstract level where you're right that the light is first because God is light and God is eternally preexisting. The creation account doesn't draw upon these ideas and perhaps they were too abstract for an ancient audience, instead, the state of the earth before the light is spoken is said to be formless, empty, and dark. This is a state of unrest and chaos not a state of rest and peace. Then God speaks light and a transformation happens that ends in complete rest and peace by day 7. This is such a powerful metaphor that I cannot dismiss the order and I would argue saying light is first is counter-gospel and without purpose.

According to the OP Jesus and the Apostles and the Jewish nation and the bible does not know what day the Sabbath is or when it really started.
Brother, the angel told us what we will learn after learning "what even is". We will learn "when it is"! Even falls in the middle of the first day and not as supposed was at the beginning because the Sabbath in the Promised Land is not as supposed a day of the week. Note that the angel speaks positively that we will "understand, but not yet, not yet". God helped our church understand the longest time to make this correction by holding an incorrect hour for more than 8 years before doing the Bible study to learn more.

I saw that it is even so: “From even unto even, shall ye celebrate your Sabbath.” Said the angel: “Take the word of God, read it, understand, and ye cannot err. Read carefully, and ye shall there find what even is, and when it is.” I asked the angel if the frown of God had been upon His people for commencing the Sabbath as they had. I was directed back to the first rise of the Sabbath, and followed the people of God up to this time, but did not see that the Lord was displeased, or frowned upon them. I inquired why it had been thus, that at this late day we must change the time of commencing the Sabbath. Said the angel: “Ye shall understand, but not yet, not yet.” Said the angel: “If light come, and that light is set aside or rejected, then comes condemnation and the frown of God; but before the light comes, there is no sin, for there is no light for them to reject.” I saw that it was in the minds of some that the Lord had shown that the Sabbath commenced at six o'clock, when I had only seen that it commenced at “even,” and it was inferred that even was at six. I saw that the servants of God must draw together, press together. (Testimonies for the Church, vol. 1, Page 116)

Please forgive me but I do not believe you. You have already been provided both scripture and the context to the SOP statements you have provided and ignored everything that every one has shared with you in this forum as a help to you in the past while only repeating your teachings that are not supported in the scriptures or anyone believes.

Take Care

Brother, on the sixth day they prepared twice as much to keep it until "tomorrow" to eat it in the "morning". Clearly stated by Moses, divided is "tomorrow" from "today" on the "morning" of the seventh day. Moses tells them in the "morning" of the seventh day to eat “today” what they saved for "tomorrow" until the "morning". Clearly stated by Moses, divided is "tomorrow" from "today" in the morning.

On the sixth day, they gathered twice as much as usual—four quarts for each person instead of two. Then all the leaders of the community came and asked Moses for an explanation. He told them, “This is what the LORD commanded: TOMORROW will be a day of complete rest, a holy Sabbath day set apart for the LORD. So bake or boil as much as you want TODAY, and set aside what is left for TOMORROW.” So they put some aside until morning, just as Moses had commanded. And in the morning the leftover food was wholesome and good, without maggots or odor. Moses said, “Eat this food TODAY, for today is a Sabbath day dedicated to the LORD. There will be no food on the ground today. You may gather the food for six days, but the seventh day is the Sabbath. There will be no food on the ground that day.” Some of the people went out anyway on the seventh day, but they found no food. The LORD asked Moses, “How long will these people refuse to obey my commands and instructions? They must realize that the Sabbath is the LORD’s gift to you. That is why he gives you a two-day supply on the sixth day, so there will be enough for two days. On the Sabbath day you must each stay in your place. Do not go out to pick up food on the seventh day.” So the people did not gather any food on the seventh day. (Exodus 16:22-30 NLT)

Repetition, been there done that - ignored. Nothing in the scriptures you have shared supports anything you are saying.
