Hmm, I think I had a problem with run on sentences too, but I've gotten better at it. Reminding people of things can be good. C.S. Lewis does that sometimes in the Narnia books. I feel like writers can be their own worst critics. Anything can be picked apart but at the same time that story could be loved by millions.

I like anything that is similar to a fairy tale and I like to learn about other cultures and the past. I'm more into the far-off past than anything recent. When I read and learn something I feel productive which makes me satisfied and then it's easier to sleep. What do you read?

That's okay, no worries! I understand that. I watch a lot of mystery shows on TV that are more real life which is why I tend toward fantasy with books. But some of the book mysteries are probably better than the show ones.

Going by what I remember from my elementary school English class, it wasn't run-on sentences by definition that I had an issue with. I mean, I still connected thoughts together in the same sentence with what I believed was appropriate comma placement and the use of a connecting word lie "and", "or", etc. But still, they were often just too long to read and grasp all at once, when I could have found a way to separate them into two or three smaller sentences. It especially didn't help that with RPGMaker 1, in-game you could only see three lines in the dialogue box at a time (each line being about forty alphanumeric characters), so if a sentence was longer than that ... well, for the reader that can easily get them lost after going to the next box.

A guy we knew and I had met a few times in person over the years from RPG Maker Magazine actually did a stream on our game on Twitch a few years ago, and he read every bit of dialogue out loud during the playthrough. And oftentimes throughout, he had to stop and collect his breath or take a drink. ... Not the worst sign of a man's writing skill, but certainly not the best either.

Lol, I'm guessing you write that way because you have a lot of energy. That's the feeling I get when I read your posts.

I thought about doing an RPG maker game but never got anywhere with it. I respect that you gave it a go and had it complete enough to be featured in a stream. That's something in itself IMO.

Thank you! Yeah, am still a bit sick, although most the symptoms have abated. Hopefully I'll get over this exhaustion soon. I'll have to try catching up on some rest this weekend.

I'm glad the symptoms have abated.
And I relate to that on a deep spiritual level. The last two weeks, I feel more rundown and exhausted than I have in a very long time. I hope you catch up on your rest, and kick that fatigue to the curb.

Im so sick of covid,Last yr my family had it and now we have it again.Well my dad and brother do,My mom and I are getting our results tomorrow.Im actually feeling fine though,so dont think I do.My mom sounds like she has a bad sinus infection.

I'll take my own advice from here yesterday when discussing writing style and habits with @angelsaroundme and not type too much to get the point of this story across. Instead I'll summarize it =>

As of yesterday evening two of the three ladies working as assistants to my chiropractor in Texarkana have arranged for me to meet a cute girl they have in mind for me to meet with, by synchronizing my next appointment with hers. One of them was like, we need to hook you up. (I am sure they meant that term in a generally romantic sense, and not a sexual one, of course, otherwise I would have been a lot more squicked out by the situation. ) This almost seems like the kind of quirky situation for a hopeless romantic like myself that would only happen on TV, actually. ^-^

EDIT: ... Oh, and the one who literally said "we need to get you hooked up, SK" - Latanya - also could not believe it when I revealed my age of 37 to her upon request. She was like, no way, I have to check your file again to make sure you aren't putting me on. I seriously thought 25 or 26 at most all this time!

Ughhhh, only another hour to go but I just got slammed by the People of Walmart, and probably am gonna have to stay late to cleanup since Doctor has appointments scheduled in the morning.
