I wanted to share with you something beautiful.

IN Hebrews, Paul teaches us..

""""But Jesus, after he had offered ONE sacrifice for >sins = forever, sat down on the right hand of God"""

Now notice....>"one sacrifice for sins".....forever"

So, there is THE Blood atonement and this verse shows you how long it lasts.

"forever". And that is in all cases..
Its a one time sacrifice for the world....and its a "forever" redemption sacrifice for each person who is born again.
Salvation is not temporary.
Eternal Life is not part time.

Next we are shown by Paul that this sacrifice is our sanctification, and we are taught how long our sanctification lasts..

""""By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all"""""

Then, we are shown one of the lasting effects of Jesus sacrifice, is that it took away the first covenant, and established the 2nd.

"""Jesus said , Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that He may establish the second""""

Now what is interesting about this, is that JESUS Himself is the New Covenant and the New Testament.
He is the testimony, and its His blood that testifies that the NEW Covenant, has been manifested, and its by His resurrection that all this is proven to be TRUE.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, let me show you one of the MAIN reasons that God brought the New Covenant, that has replaced the old covenant" (Moses Laws, Commandments)..

Notice.... in this next verse.... that Paul is talking about the OT and the slaying of animals on behalf of a person's sin......>and what was the main failure<, that is the main reason that God stopped this old covenat, and brought in the New Covenant.

Its this reason..

""""For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those (OT animal) sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto PERFECT".

Paul just told you that the OT Covenant, and the blood of animals, can't make you CONTINUALLY perfect.
This is Paul teaching us that the Old Covenant (law and commandments) nor the blood of animals==== can't make us PERFECT, so, God brought in a New Covenant that CAN make us Perfect.

And How does it to it?
It does it because the New Covenant, is the BLood of Jesus and the Righteousness of God, given to us .... and this causes the SPIRIT IN the born again to become.."THE Righteousness of God, in Christ".

And so, to have THE Righteousness of God, is to have God's very own Righteousness, and in that, you find that it makes the born again SPIRIT "perfect".

So, all this, is just the specifics of How God's blood, as Jesus on the Cross, came to Be the New Covenant, and why.

The exact WHY God had to bring to us a New Covenant, is because for God to accept us, we have to be as Righteous as God Himself, and the law, commandments, and animal blood, can't do that for you, can't cause this for you.
So..... the only way that can happen is for God's Blood to deal with our sin, and God's very Righteousness be given to us as ."" The Gift of Righteousness", AS ="The Gift of Salvation".

This is how the born again are "made righteous".

--------------------------------

Now, let
me show you another glorious result of being made righteous..

Notice this partial verse....""""should have had no more conscience of sins.""""

Now see that? That is taken from Hebrews 10, and its another explanation for why God stopped the animal sacrifices and the old covenant.....>Its because they could not give a person "no more consciousness of sin".

So, God brought in the ETERNAL ONE TIME SACRIFICE of Jesus, as this gives you "no more consciousness of sin", yet, you have to learn how to become that, as your renewed mind.

Now see that mind? That is the renewed mind., it will have "no more consciousness of sin".

Remember, your mind is not born again, so that is why you are told to "renew it'.
And the way you do this, is to have "righteousness consciousness", as that IS the renewed mind.
So, what is that?
Its simply the correct faith you are to always exist within, whereby you understand that you are always made righteous. Its THAT EXACT Belief system.
See, that is a MIND SET. That is a mind that is SET on that TRUTH regarding who you become, if you are born again.. You are a NEW CREATION...."In Christ".

The TRUTH is, ...the born again are "made righteous' and are become. "THE Righteousness of GOD , in Christ"..
This is the born again Spirit, that is the REAL YOU., if you are born again and not just water baptized.
The real you is not your body. The real you , if you are born again, is the born again "new Creation", "in Christ". That is your born again Spirit.

Now let me show you exactly where the righteousness occurs, and remains, if
you are born again.

Its very simple.
= Jesus is Righteousness.
Its Him.
So, when we use words like, salvation, mercy, grace, eternal life.....these are all just words that are describing JESUS as Righteousness. So, what happens is... When God births you, as born again... You are birthed into the Spirit of God, by the Spirit of God.
This is the same as being "in Christ" or "born again".
As what has happened is that your spirit has been birthed into permanent Spiritual Union with God, and Christ. "One with God, IN Christ". "Made Righteous".
This is why you have become a New Creation. = As you now exist, SPIRITUALLY< in them.

So, Christ is now IN YOU...if you are born again, and not just water baptized.
And because He Himself is Righteousness, you now become the same, SPIRITUALLY, because your spirit now exists in total and permanent SPIRITUAL union with Jesus.
See that? That is "in Christ"... That's what that means.
That is why you are become "made righteous". That is why you are become a "SON of GOD".
Its because your born again Spirit is now in actual union with Christ. This is why you are become "The Bride of Christ" and "the Temple of the Holy Spirit, if you are born again.

Now, once you LEARN to ONLY see yourself as that New Creation "in Christ", and you put on this reality as your renewed Mind, then you have started your "Righteousness Consciousness".
This is the "renewed mind, and when you live in that TRUTH as your real faith, then you are walking in the Spirit,...... and not until.

And in that renewed mind = is your perfected discipleship found.
In that renewed mind, you have "worked out your salvation".
In this renewed mind, your "sin consciousness" will leave, and when you have no sin consciousness, you have found this...= "CHRIST....always gives me the VICTORY".

You seem to be getting justification (Romans 4:25; Romans 5:16; Romans 5:18) confused with sanctification (1 Thessalonians 4:4; 2 Thessalonians 2:13; 1 Peter 1:2). Do you know the difference? Justification simply is being forgiven for our sins through the blood of Christ as we believe God's promise of forgiveness given to all who will accept Jesus and His death for our sins that are paid for by His life and death for us as a free gift of God's grace. Sanctification on the other hand is Christian growth and walking in Christ by believing and following Gods Word and the work of a lifetime as we learn more and more about God through His Word. Therefore sanctification is more about how we learn, believe and follow God in order to be more and more like Jesus. Justification therefore is being made right with God through blood atonement for the penalty and guilt of sin which is God's free gift to all mankind. Of course there is no blood atonement without faith, confession of sin and repentance of sin according to the scriptures (John 3:16; 1 John 1:9; 1 John 2:1; 1 John 3:6-9; Acts of the Apostles 2:38; 3:19 17:30-31; Proverbs 28:13 etc).

Conscience =/=Consciousness of sin.
You are mixing two ideas, consciousness is of the mind, and is therefore relevant
to having a renewed mind.

Conscience is of the heart, where we receive convictions of the Spirit.
Romans 2:
14 for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law,
these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves,
15 who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness,
and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them)

Conscience in action
John 8:9 Then those who heard it, being convicted by conscience, went out one by one,
beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman
standing in the midst.

In my experience, the longer I walk in Christ the more sensitive I am to sin in my own life. Not less conscious of sin.

When someone tries to separate the Cross into.....1. God's part. 2. My part.

Then this person does not understand Salvation or the Cross.
THey are instead caught up in commandment keeping and self saving, which is Legalism.
THis person will believe they can lose their salvation, and that is because they have NO REAL FAITH in Christ who Himself IS Salvation.

Man is a tri-part being.

We exist as a Spirit.
We have a Soul (mind and emotions)
We live in a Body.

So, when a person is born again, their Spirit becomes "the righteousness of God in Christ".
Their Mind (soul and emotions) is not renewed, yet, the power of the blood of Jesus, has removed sin, which does remove sin consciousness.
However, this sin consciousness does not come automatically.
The way i explain this to my classes is...

Think of a Hard Drive that has been WIPED.
Its clean, but it still has some evidence on it, yet, its Wiped Clean.
So, this is the mind that is freed from sin consciousness by the BLood of Jesus.
Its wiped, but it has some sin consciousness in it, that has to be removed.
This is the "renewing" of the mind.

This is why you are told to "renew" you mind into the real faith that exists in that place of no more sin consciousness.

In my experience, the longer I walk in Christ the more sensitive I am to sin in my own life. Not less conscious of sin.

That is not sin consciousness., that is sin sensitivity.

Sin Consciousness is "the power of sin is the Law".. That enflames your flesh to want to sin.
See that?
That is "sin consciousness".

What you are talking about, is the Holy Spirit causing you to discern sin, very strongly.

This is in fact one of the PROOFS that a person has become born again.
How does that work?
Well, before you were saved.......you sinned, you enjoyed it, and you wanted more.
You saw it as NORMAL, and it is, for a sinner who isn't born again.

But once God comes to live inside you, then your conscience is affected by the Holy Spirit.
It becomes sin sensitive, whereas when you are not saved, sin is fun.....Its never a problem to do more.

But that changes when come Christ comes to live inside you, as you are describing as your sin sensitivity.

Here you go Sidon, I added the full posted of what was written to you as misquoting is taking what was shared with you out of context.
LoveGodsWord said: You seem to be getting justification (Romans 4:25; Romans 5:16; Romans 5:18) confused with sanctification (1 Thessalonians 4:4; 2 Thessalonians 2:13; 1 Peter 1:2). THis person will believe they can lose their salvation, and that is because they have NO REAL FAITH in Christ who Himself IS Salvation.

The post that you were responding to and your response here only confirms what was written to you in the first post from the scriptures and shows that you do not understand the difference between justification and sanctification. No one has ever said to you that we do not find both justification and sanctification "in Christ" as shown in 1 Corinthians 1:30. This is where we find both "justification" when we sin and Christian growth or "sanctification" when we learn of Jesus so we can follow Him. Jesus or being in Christ means to be in the Word, believing or following the Word of God (John 1:1-4; 4) so to be "in Christ" where we find both justification and sanctification means to believe and follow God's Word.

"In Christ" means to be in the Word through faith = John 17:17 = 1 Corinthians 1:30 = John 6:63.

So as posted earlier there is a difference between justification and sanctification according to the scriptures (justification - Romans 4:25; Romans 5:16; Romans 5:18); sanctification - 1 Thessalonians 4:4; 2 Thessalonians 2:13; 1 Peter 1:2).

Hope this is helpful.

Try this. 1 Corinthians 1:30
I guess you did not read my post and scriptures shared with you did you.

"In Christ" (John 1:1-4; 14) means to be in the Word through faith = John 17:17 = 1 Corinthians 1:30 = John 6:63.

No one has ever said to you that we do not find both justification and sanctification "in Christ" as shown in 1 Corinthians 1:30. Anyhow, just trying to be helpful. They are God's Words not mine. Of course you are free to believe as you wish. For me only God's Word is true and we should believe and follow them according to the scriptures in Romans 3:4; Acts of the Apostles 5:29

Exactly.

The born again.....(not the water baptized falsely believing that this is how to be born again)< but the actual "new Creation in Christ"......we HAVE Salvation.
We are not trying to earn it, as if we tried to do that, we would be found up on the Cross , nailed to our own self righteousness.
But you know all about that....according to your own personal theology that you keep proving in every post.

It’s believing what God said, that He crucified me with Christ, and that I’m in Christ and Christ is in me. Having the realization that Christ’s blood atoned for my sins Once, and forever, there I cannot be condemned for sin, I’m under grace. If I’m under grace I’m not under law, which the law condemns you and caused guilt. Having the full revelation and realization by believing this truth elevates your conscious to where you walk without a guilty conscious. The Old Covenant could not remove sin from the conscious. The new covenant removes sin from the conscious.
If we are not under the law, then we can’t be condemned. If we cannot be condemned, then we are free from sin. God made His grace work this way when you believe. That’s why Sidon said it’s beautiful.

That's not how God's grace works. It's not at all a beautiful thing to to walk without a guilty conscious if, in truth, you still sin. That idea would only serve to make Is 5:20 wrong-and satan smile. To not be under the law means that we fulfill our obligation to be righteous by grace now, living by the Spirit- or else we die (Rom 8:13); it's not license to be free from condemnation of sin. The only reason that a believer is no longer condemned is precisely because they should be free from the sin that would otherwise condemn and kill them, no longer slaves to it.

“…just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Rom 5:21

“Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?”
Rom 6:16

"But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Rom 6:22-23

"And so he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit."
Rom 8:3-4

So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. Rom 8:12-13

"Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. 5 But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him." 1 John 3:4-6

When you can reconcile the following two points, you'll understand Paul and the gospel and new covenant in general much better:
1) We're no longer under the law
2) We're not free to break the law

That's not how God's grace works. It's not at all a beautiful thing to to walk without a guilty conscious if, in truth, you still sin. That idea would only serve to make Is 5:20 wrong-and satan smile. To not be under the law means that we fulfill our obligation to be righteous by grace now, living by the Spirit- or else we die (Rom 8:13); it's not license to be free from condemnation of sin. The only reason that a believer is no longer condemned is precisely because they're free the sin that would otherwise condemn them, no longer slaves to it.

You don’t understand! Being free from sin is to not have sin imputed to you, if you make a mistake and sin. Because the blood of Christ removed condemnation by His grace, making those that believe in Him PERFECT.
Therefore, if we sin we have an advocate, Christ Jesus who sits on the right hand of the Father.

If you have a toddler, and he/she is learning to walk, you would not get angry each time he/she fell down.

That’s the same with us as Christians. When we fall down and sin or make a misstep and sin, that sin is NOT IMPUTED unto us, because the blood covers us.

There is a law of sin. There is a law of grace. Each acts independent of us! We are either yielding toward the law of sin, or the law of grace. We don’t determine how grace work in our lives, because we don’t own grace. Grace is from God who does the work, He is the Husbandman? We are asked to believe, not work!

No, you don't understand. You've already implied that you know how grace works, but in actuality you've just been influenced by a myopic and stifled 500 year old novel theology. Grace is more than favor; it's the life of God in us. And God doesn't get angry, but like a good parent He wants the toddler to grow into an adult who increasingly chooses to do the right thing on his own, who owns his choices, choosing to let God live and love in and through him daily. And the choices begin with faith, with the acceptance and expression of that gift. And yet some won't believe, so what happens to those children- who He also desires to come to repentance? And it doesn't end there; that faith is meant to blossom into hope, and, most importantly love. God will judge us on that love at the end of the day-for our highest good. That's all we really need to know. If you don't want any obligation or moral responsibility, Christianity probably isn't the way for you.

I'll put it another way. To the extent that we persist in serious sin, we really don't even want to see God, regardless of what we may say.

When you can reconcile the following two points, you'll understand Paul and the gospel and new covenant in general much better:
1) We're no longer under the law
2) We're not free to break the law

i’m not speaking about being free to break the law, or being free from moral responsibility.

The discussion was about our conscious being free from condemnation in Christ based on grace, and the blood atonement; that sin is not imputed unto us if we sin. We are still in the flesh, and we are still growing in Christ, so we are not perfect. There is no way we are going to be perfect and not sin. But if we do sin, we have an advocate, Christ Jesus! Also we have the Holy Spirit who strengthens us throughout our Christian walk.

So, because of Christ and His shed blood on the cross, we are considered righteous, considered not sinners in the eyes of God - only because of what Christ did for us on the cross.

Romans 4:

7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.

Romans 8:

1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

You don't want freedom from moral responsibility- but you don't think sin is imputed to us or that we can be condemned for it??? Past sin isn't counted against us of course, because we're forgiven! But does that mean we can continue to sin? If so, how much?? Can sin no longer lead to our death all over again (1 John 5:17)? BTW, the OP says that a born again person doesn't and cannot continue to sin! And apparently you believe otherwise. But now take the first verse from Rom 8 that you gave and continue on through the chapter to verse 13 to see how it really plays out.

1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.

The Church knows that we'll continue to struggle with sin-and sometimes fail. But if we're not on track to overcome it and advance more than we backslide, if we don't put to death those most grave of sins, we'll die; we'll be choosing death, aka separation from God. And we can always return in repentance with a sincere and contrite changed heart, confessing our sins whereupon He'll forgive and purify us of them (1 John 1:9).

You have completely misunderstood! You have twisted what I said also! So I don’t want to cause an offense! I just pray one day you can see what others are trying to say about grace, and maybe let go of the debative spirit you posses! A debative spirit blinds you to the truth.
