Ah, post 24?

Changing the definition of planet isn't an example of correcting a previous mistake, (like thinking some bats are primates), it's a change in classification for clarity and utility.
Since I made it clear more than once that this thread isn't about Pluto, I'm not going to contest this.

So you're off the hook. ;)

@Shemjaza was never on the hook. You were the one on the hook and you are still there, wriggling pointlessly.

Of course not. We knew that. This thread is, and always has been, about you and your anti-science crusade of deliberate ignorance in the form of "gotcha games" and false analogies.

New Body! Are you claiming this revolting swiss peasant (Johann Emmenegger) as an ancestor?

Perhaps.

I do have an ancestor that was from the same town, had the same family name and would have been a 5-10 year-old girl at the time that Hans was executed for his rebellion. Perhaps he was her father, I don't know.

Funny enough, Hans Emmenegger was the name of an artist who died in Lucerne, where your body was executed.

Okay, so divorced from the Pluto stuff, I don't think anyone here would oppose stating that historical scientists working from limited or flawed evidence could both wrong and reasonable in their conclusions from evidence.

Why are you so obsessed with Pluto anyway?

He's from there, and hates the fact that it isn't called a planet anymore.

That's also how he knows the flood water went to Neptune - he can see it from his house.

In another thread, someone made this comment:
If this is your sentiment as well, were you wrong about Pluto being our ninth planet?

Based on what I understood a planet to be at the time I was not wrong to think Pluto was a planet, but given updated information about what defines a planet, Pluto no longer fits, therefore, I’m free to adjust my belief in accordance with the updated and broadly accepted definition of a planet.

If in my senior year of high school in 1972, I would have submitted a mobile of the solar system for science week sans Pluto, would it even be put on display?

It was when Allan McDonald tried to stop the Challenger liftoff. -snip-

Didnt you promise someone to stop using that disaster as a ”point”?

Your obsession with human death and misery is very distasteful.

Yes, Thaumaturgy, if he would read John 9.

He did, and I stopped.

In addition, qv Post 44 here.

The fact is though: neither Thaumaturgy, Cabal, nor Sayre post here anymore.

And a promise ends because of that? Weak.
