The BLM movement is profoundly un Christian and un Orthodox. For Orthodox believers it is entirely untenable to support the movement but disagree with those leading the movement.

Anything Shaun King has to say in reference to Jesus Christ is Antichrist.

Yes, but, i have seen Jesus depicted very differently depending on the location and culture.

The difference would only matter to those like that BLM leader.

All God is concerned about is what is in a persons heart and soul.

just because folks wanna depict Him however they want, that doesn't mean they should. He should be depicted as He is, which is as a Palestinian Jewish man.

and I know that's all God is concerned about with us, but that's an irrelevant point.

Yeah I get it, I use profanity in speech but in rare occasions. Also it's a meme. There's no point getting upset about it.

as someone who has been gassed with actual CS gas on more than one occasion, I can say it's not a silly distinction. it's not the same kind of irritant. and, again, I am pretty sure the people people were cleared before the President chose to make his photo op, especially since part of the church was on fire. you might be able to make the argument that the President took advantage of what was already done, but that's not the same as saying the clergy were cleared for him. and yes, the buck stops with him.

Then they were removed. Then the president had a photo op in front of the church.

1. I also never said OC is CS, what I said was there is a difference between tear gas and peppered pellets or whatever. I went through the chamber with more than a few cops who had experience in both.

2. which was one of the reasons the police said they were there and used the smoke and peppered pellets. and correlation isn't causation (again, from the actual police that cleared the people).

Personally, I really don't care what image of Jesus people worship. People are drawn to things they are familiar with. It is just human nature. If you are a Korean child, it would be more difficult for you to see God as your heavenly Father if he looks European. Thus, Korean Jesus, and black Jesus, ext. Yes, the historical Jesus is Hebrew so He would historically look like the image above (I guess), but it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if someone worships an Asian Jesus, or a Black Jesus, a Hispanic Jesus, or even a white Jesus. Jesus is still Jesus regardless of the color. This is just pure childishness.
