My sense is that one language, one global people wasnt the problem. They had that before they even devised the tower. God himself identifies the problem with the tower: "and now nothing will be withholden from them, which they purpose to do."

Okay. God separated them. Call it whatever you like, but God said NO! to their plans. I see no evidence in Scripture of another global gathering other than 1) believers in Jesus Christ and 2) those who belong to Antichrist.

That the majority of leaders and scientists who claim to want to bring man together over "climate change" NEVER SPEAK OF JESUS CHRIST, ought to tell you who they are working for.

This whole Global Warming/Climate Change scenario is a lie. The earth has warmed 1 degree in 150 years. From 1450 - 1850, there was what they called the Little Ice Age (a decrease of 3 degrees). We cannot effect the climate to extremes as this report suggests. Forty years ago these same scientists claimed the ice caps would melt and coastal regions like Florida would be under water.
What you should worry about is that very possibly the end of the world as we know, called the Great Tribulation (in Revelation) will bring about catastrophic events that will _ within a 3 1/2 year period, will destroy 2/3 of the population along with 1/3 of the planet on fire, a worldwide earthquake, probably a nuclear war, an asteroid strike and super volcanic eruptions that will destroy ALL buildings and level mountains. The sun will scorch mankind during this time BUT IT WON'T BE CAUSED BY MAN, GOD WILL BE RESPONSIBLE! I could go on in detail but I'll stop there.
And you are worried about carbon emissions and animal species?
This whole climate change hoax is a disguise for a hidden agenda, which is Global Governance, a One World Order. These elites want this but must first get all countries to agree and thus relinquish our sovereignty to this one cause. Of course behind it, they believe that they can solve world hunger and create world peace by doing so. Man cannot do this because if one obstacle, SIN.
GOD needs to rid the world is in and evil before we can all experience paradise reborn - and He is Coming soon to do so.

All these side debates about Matthew 24, etc are ultimately irrelevant. It is crystal clear from Scripture that we are to be stewards of Creation. When Jesus returns, if some here in this thread have their way, He will find a beaten-up spoiled planet. And we will expect Him to be pleased? Come on, man.

It wasnt just any plan of a united people that God rejected.... it was the one that He specifically said gave them access to all knowledge: the tower that reached heaven.

Of course we dont invoke Jesus when discussing climate matters... no more than we would when discussing trade pacts or arms control treaties or any other international agreement. Not everyone around the world is Christian. Its as simple as that.
