Remember when Norway struck oil?

It was seen as a great blessing,
they did not go crazy,

the oil fund is earmarked not to be touched,
it garantees pensions among other things.

According to some today if you drive a diesel you are
regarded as a criminal.


So bloody stupid can things become.

So the point here is oil can give people economical welfare or something ?

Spending lots of money is good for people in the short run and bad for the environment in the long run.

Also case could probably be made that after certain point this materialistic excess we have in Western style consumption society is not that good for our mental healthbeing either.

It is well Norway found oil, when handled right such as
garantee for future pensions, thereof, Statoil.

There is nothing wrong with material excess when shared with others.

The reward for giving charity is not having to rely on others.

Maybe the only way I am a naughty boy is I still have my boat with a diesel,
I had it for fishing but now with a pension I keep it for therapy,
to keep the wheels turning in my brain.

I do find it interesting how people are taking the climate change denial and also denying the blindingly obvious the loss of biodiversity and the impending, ongoing mass extinction of species that is going on in front if our eyes. From the massive destruction of the rainforests, the polluting of the oceans with plastic, fertiliser and pesticide waste, to the mass loss of bee colonies the evidence that the biodiversity of earth is being destroyed is blatant and can only be denied by lying scum.

It is easy to predict the loss of biodiversity since last time I checked scientists can do basic math.
