I guess you support countries that threaten us?
What would you do pull an Obama on them?
Sure wish you guys wouldn't do that maybe we could have a beer Summit.

Hi M-bob,
No, of course I don't 'support' countries that threaten us. Quite frankly, I don't support any country as far as cheer them on in their endeavors. Countries exist and people live within their borders. Some countries allow a bit more personal freedoms than others and some can be downright ugly in how they treat some of their citizenry. I'm not sure 'support' is the right word for the understanding that you're probably trying to impose upon me. But, be that as it may.
I do understand that a large part of the reason that some nations are at odds with us is because we've adopted this attitude that we're pretty close to trying to make every other nation see us as the ruler of the world in some ways. I don't understand, and you likely find that to be some ignorance on my part, what authority we have to tell other nations that they can't have what we have.
We have the greatest nuclear armament and weaponry in the world. We have production facilities that produce the fissionable materials with which you make these armaments and we have absolutely no problem studying and building and creating these terribly powerful and deadly weapons. We have no problem updating any facility that we'd like to, to make new and better such weapons. Yet, let some other nation say, "You know, I think that because this other nation has the ability to say to me, we have the power to blow you off the face of the earth, that I should also develop a reasonable power to combat such a threat."
After all, the leaders of these other nations have the same responsibility to provide for and take care of their people as we do. Now, maybe they don't do it the same way that we do, but then that's what makes all the different governments...different. If we are to all live under the exact same rules, laws and methods, then we would truly be a one world government.
So, here's this bombastic narcissist threatening to blow nations off the face of the map if they don't live under our direction and instruction in such things and I can't imagine that a lot nation leaders don't want to have some sort of counter to living under such a threat.
Now, you're an American and, as most Americans, you think that you're right in most everything that you do. You think of your culture and government and way of life as better and more righteous than other countries might have. However, I'd appreciate it if you'd try for just five minutes to put yourself in the shoes of some person living in Russia or Korea or China or Iran or Brazil and try to see and understand the world as they do.
If you're a citizen of N. Korea or Iran and the president of this huge and powerful nation is threatening to blow you and your family off the face of the globe; using every financial squeeze to make your life miserable, how do you think that person, that human being created in the image and likeness of the same God that you believe created you. feels towards that big and powerful nation that is making their life miserable.
You claim to be a christian. Do you know what God asks of you? He asks you to live at peace with your neighbors as far as it is within your ability. As a believer, you shouldn't be supporting someone threatening to blow hundreds of thousands of people off the face of the globe just to get them to stop trying to get what you've already gotten.
I don't even know what 'pulling an Obama' is.
God bless,
In Christ, ted
