Of course I agree . I am aware that many believers give one day to the Lord ..Saturday or Sunday . I believe this is a huge error ...The rest of the time is spent in idleness ( recreation ) provided it is "wholesome " . I see this in sabbath keepers and Lord's Day observers . God in his graciousness has given us a day of rest which Jesus had to explain to the hard headed and hard hearted religious leaders of his day . The sabbath was for man ..not man for the sabbath . But like everything , we corrupt even this . This I am sure of ..God does not need me . He does not need my worship . ( Worship comes from being known by Him and knowing Him . ) God needs nothing but His love desires that I understand that He is Life . And I know that every good and perfect gift is from above . I need Him for He is my all ...and I do not deserve to Love Him nor others ...I am learning to rest in Christ while I work . To rest in Him while I rest . To abide in Him every day . To be set apart ( Holy ) for Him every day ..How is this opposed to the ten commandments ? I have no life apart from Christ .

The challenge I am putting up here in the OP is for anyone to show even one scripture that says God's 4th Commandment of the 10 commandments (Exodus 20:8-11) which was spoken and written by God himself to his people, has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day.

Something to think about here because we are all accountable to God come judgment day where we will all be judged by the Word of God (John 12:47-48).

How many slaves do their own work ? You understand that the 10 commandments were given as a shadow , right ? Many people live selfish lives 6 days a week and then honor God on the Sabbath or on Sunday . In the Old Covenant , the Day does indeed start at Friday Sunset to Saturday Sunset . Who's work will you do then ? Yours or God's ? And when it is over , who's servant are you ? Are you still a servant of your master or do you become your own master until next Friday ? Now brother the question is why do we need to be Born again in the Spirit? As partly answered in ROMANS 8:13 above, if we live in the flesh (carnal mind; sinful human nature) we will die because the wages of sin is death to all those who reject the gift of God's dear son *ROMANS 6:23.

Not really. You have provided an OLD TESTAMENT scripture that is talking about the "SPECIAL ceremonial sabbaths connected to the ANNUAL FEAST DAYS. Besides God's 4th Commandment which is the SEVENTH DAY SABBATH written on stone, there were "SPECIAL" annual ceremonial Sabbath connected to the annual Jewish festivals in the OLD COVENANT written in the MOSAIC BOOK OF THE COVENANT.

Hosea 2:11 is a list of holy days also found in Lev 23 of which the first in the list is the weekly sabbath in the plural here because of their great number.

God's WORD does not teach lawlessness. The next verses 18-22; 31-32 JESUS is magnifying God's 10 commandments and applying them to our very thoughts and feelings. V17 is JESUS stating that he FULFILLS all the SHADOW laws and prophecies of the OLD COVENANT and by his example perfectly obeys God's ETERNAL LAW (10 commandments). Who is your example?

We need to be BORN again to LOVE brother in order to receive the NEW COVENANT promise to walk in God's Spirit to LOVE. Obedience to God's LAW is the very expression of what LOVE is. This is why JESUS says...

Hosea 2:11 is a list of holy days also found in Lev 23 of which the first in the list is the weekly sabbath in the plural here because of their great number.

You mix up God's ETERNAL LAW (10 commandments) with the Moasic shadow laws in ORDINANCES that are connected to the annual FEAST DAYS.

You have provided an OLD TESTAMENT scripture that is talking about the "SPECIAL ceremonial sabbaths connected to the ANNUAL FEAST DAYS. Besides God's 4th Commandment which is the SEVENTH DAY SABBATH written on stone, there were "SPECIAL" annual ceremonial Sabbath connected to the annual Jewish festivals in the OLD COVENANT written in the MOSAIC BOOK OF THE COVENANT.

These ceremonial Sabbath were not God's 4th Commandment of the 10 Commandments but were connected to annual festivals and could fall on ANY DAY of the week depending on the yearly cycle (please read LEVITICUS 23;24-39).

These ceremonial "SPECIAL" Sabbath were connected to..

* Annual festival of The blowing of trumpet (Leviticus 23:24)
* Annual Day of Atonement (Leviticus 23:32)
* Annual Feast of tabernacles (Leviticus 23:39)

These "SPECIAL" Sabbath could fall on any day and were connected directly to these festivals that were prophetic in nature pointing to Jesus and God's plan of Salvation in the NEW COVENANT.

You have your Shadow laws from the MOSAIC BOOK of the COVENANT mixed up with God's ETERNAL LAW that give us a KNOWLEDGE of sin (Romans 3:20).

Accoding to God's WORD in the NEW COVENANT God's ETERNAL LAW (10 Commandments have the same role they always had and that is to give us the KNOWLEDGE of what SIN is when broken *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7; 1 JOHN 3:4. According to God's WORD if we break any one of God's 10 commandments we stand guilty before God of SIN *JAMES 2:10-11.

God's 4th commandment is one of God's 10 commandments that give us the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL; SIN and RIGHTEOUSNESS *ROMANS 3:20

All those who CONTINUE in KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN will not enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN *HEBREWS 10:26-27 because they reject the gift of God's dear son *ROMANS 6:23. OBEDIENCE to God's LAW is not how we are saved it is the FRUIT of God's work in us as we BELIEVE and FOLLOW his WORD. Not really brother. I did not call you a liar. Your post had no truth in it as no one is claiming that we are saved by trying to keep God's LAW. We are saved by GRACE through faith and not of ourselves it is a gift of God *EPHESIANS 2:8. OBEDIENCE to God's LAW is not how we are saved it is the FRUIT of God's work in us as we BELIEVE and FOLLOW his WORD. If our faith has no fruit it is dead *JAMES 2:18-20; 26 and our tree will be cast down and thrown into the fire *MATTHEW 3:10; 7:19-20; 13:49-50.

As shown in post # 615 linked and elsewhere you cannot separate God's LOVE from God's ETERNAL LAW (10 Commandments) because OBEDIENCE by FAITH in God's WORD is how God's LOVE is expressed to God and our fellow man *ROMANS 13:8-10; JAMES 2:8-12 and is why JESUS says; ON THESE TWO Commandments of LOVE to GOD and MAN HANG ALL THE LAW and the prophets *MATTHEW 22:36-40.
