What part of "the whole world" omits anyone, Jason?
Those without faith are not saved in spite of the work Jesus did for all.

Mark 10:52
And Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him on the way.

Hebrews 11:6

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

John 3:16

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Galatians 2:16
Yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.

Philippians 3:9
And be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith

John 3:36
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

Matthew 15:28
Then Jesus answered her, “O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed instantly.

Romans 5:1
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Saved from what? Hell? Either he went to Hell, or he didn't. No one pops in and out of Hell, like the restroom in a pub. If you can't be sent to Hell, taken out and then thrown back in again, then you can't gain and lose your salvation in the same way, because the two are inextricably linked. Either he was ultimately saved, or he wasn't.
Jesus visited for three days.
No mention of him being served beers though.

I had to stare at that comment for a while, before I could reply. I'm thinking, "I know there's got to be a way to win this one." Then, it dawns on me: I said that, "No one pops in and out of Hell," not, "No one popped into and out of Hell." I used the present continuous tense, which makes my statement correct, as opposed to the past tense, which is what your rebuttal would have addressed.

The widow that lived in pleasure was considered dead while she yet alive. See 1 Timothy 5.

Actually, those who worship the beast in the future mentioned in Revelation 13:8, and Revelation 17:8 never even had their names written in the book of life since the foundation of the world. So this means Jesus did not die for their sins as a part of Him dying for the sins of the world.

There is no other name under Heaven whereby men must be saved.
David was saved by Jesus just like everyone else.
The OT saints looked ahead to the future Messiah to save them.

As for Psalms 23:

Where does it say that he would be a shepherd forever every single day of his life?

Psalms 51 sure sounds like he needed forgiveness of sin and needed to have salvation back.

You are forgetting Christ's decent into Hades where he ministered to the souls there. That is how those before the crucifixion were saved.

Yes, Christ preached a message to the lost souls who perished in the global flood (Note: This is not a second chance at salvation). I believe the saint who dies today still goes to Abraham’s bosom. It will be like that until the Pre-Trib Rapture takes place. For in the Pre-Trib Rapture, the dead in Christ will rise first to meet the Lord in the air along with those saints who are alive. This is the marriage. There is also a call after the wedding, too (i.e. the Pre-Wrath Rapture).

Anyways, Scriptures say the Lamb was slain before the foundation of the world. Meaning, it was a foreseeable fact by God. It was a guaranteed promise. Revelation 13:8 and Revelation 17:8 says those who worship the beast do not have their names written in the book of life since the foundation of the world. This implies that there are those who do have their names written in the book of life before the foundation of the world. This can only be the Lamb’s book of life. The OT saint is saved based on looking to the future Messiah. Those who passed by way of the Red Sea drank of the Rock of Christ.

“And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.” (1 Corinthians 10:4).

Jesus said, "Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me." (John 5:39).

Please vote in the poll and give your best answer with Scripture.

May the Lord's goodness be upon you.
Oh Jason, I worry about you sometimes. You seem to think salvation gets turned on and off because of sins committed after conversion, that's just not how it works. I have always hoped your expositions would improve over time but you can't seem to get past this.

Just one question and feel free to respond as you please. Have you committed any sin(s) since conversion?

I'm not trying to butt in, I just have a question. What do you think of the status of a believer who is carnal, caught in some sin, maybe even trapped, before God. Obviously, they must repent or face God's punishment, but at that moment what do you think is going on? Just curious as to your thoughts.

Grace and peace,
Mark

So you think after the death of Christ he went into Hades and rescued the OT saints?

Preaching the Gospel to the spirits in prison, yes.
Well I think so to as far as preaching to them, I was just wondering if you think he promoted them to the heavenly realms. I don't really know, just asking your opinion.

I would assume so, because in the Book of Revelation their are 24 elders in heaven, bowing to God's throne, and we believe these to be the 12 Prophets of the Old Covenant and the 12 Apostles of the New Covenant. (Revelation 4:10)
