There was no need to speak to the accuser or the accused. They were already spoken to and questioned at length by the Senate directly. The witnesses claiming to have pertinent information were found to not have any, which is why the investigation didn't take long to complete.

They actually wrapped it up in just 3 days. They found nothing that adds credibility to Ms. Ford's claims. What they did find is that her own witnesses actually took away what little claim to credibility she thought she had. The truth is that you have one source who was anonymous (something you people used to put little stock in) until the MSM (something you people used to put no stock in) connected the dots and traced it back to a an ex-boyfriend... a man with, by his own admission, his own ax to grind, and whose testimony was refuted by another witness, namely Monica McLean, who has said he's lying.

But of course, in he said/she said, we must believe him, right?

I did that, and I also looked up who did this poll and what their record of bias is. It was done by Marist College, which has a bias rating that gives them a D+ grade. Which Pollsters To Trust In 2018
