Not that I'm aware of, particularly since most Democrats are, in fact, Christian. What I've seen from Democrats is that they realize that other religions, practiced by US citizens, also have holidays in the same period.

He confessed to those sins and repented, changing his ways. He went on to spread the Gospel and suffer and die for his faithfulness to Jesus.

He realized his betrayal and bitterly repented of it. He went on to spread the Gospel. Jesus later gave him the power to loose or bind in heaven whatever he loosed or bound on Earth He went on to suffer and die for his faithfulness to Jesus.

Donald Trump doesn't think it's necessary to ask forgiveness from God. For the obvious reasons. I think you made my point better than I did.
