Leonardo da Vinci's skeleton was measured at 5'8. Some sources, however, put his height at 6'4. He must've been a giant compared to Renaissance Italians!
Are you seriously trying to compare Julius Caesar to modern bodybuilders? LolJulius Caesar still kicked more butt than all the men on the bodybuilding forums. He conquered Gaul for crying out loud!
Back in Ancient Greece, wasn't being intelligent just as important as being strong? The ancient Greeks studied philosophy and Aristotle science while most of the users on bodybuilding forums write and act like their IQ is in the double digits.

Eh, they put in hard work by hitting the gym basically daily and timing nutrients perfectly, meal prep, etc. They sacrifice good tasting food and physical pleasure for their lifestyle/sport.I'm comparing him to the users you see on bodybuilding forums, a forum full of meatheads whose pride and joy are their tall and beefy bodies.
On another note, if you were to see a photo of my great grandfather wearing a muscle shirt during his prime, you'd notice how incredibly toned his arms are. Modern day people have to exercise constantly to have arms that powerful while people back then already had them because they had to do everything manually.
Most of those guys are in uni with good paying jobs and are successful in those ways. Same with people at my gym and other gyms I've been to. It's not a poor or dumb man's sport because of the amount of calories one needs to build and sustain the muscle, knowledge needed to build one's body in scienfically proven ways, etc. It's not so much a jealousy thing, it's just disdain for their poor writing skills and lack of humility they usually show. Lurking through the forums, I pretty much see the type of guys who would call me homophobic slurs because I'm not the sporty, womanizing kind of person like they are.
