Just watched Planet Of The Apes for the first time.. don't know why the ending was considered a great shocker.. lol.

I mean.. I'm 28.. so I already knew the ending but it seemed pretty obvious. Didn't like the film that much.. but it's the 1960s.. so most of them are pretty rough.

That mute woman is cute though.

haha, and what was your response?

Lol I tried explaining to her that I'm not hyper all the time, it's just that I rest really good...so when I do socialize, I look like I have so much energy, but it's really all from stored energy accumulated through days where I just do super introverted things. My work is so stressful and it's 3 days straight, so usually I try to recharge the next 4 days in preparation lol. These are the woes of an ambivert. Lol others ask me, "What are you smoking?" or "Why are you always so happy?", "What's keeping you so high?" Lol but meet me on my introverted days, I'm like a bear in hibernation hahaah

haha, I can relate, I consider myself an ambivert as well, I feel like it's hard for people to understand that.

I'm starting to understand why it's said melatonin users have weird dreams. Last night I dreamed I was set to marry some woman I used to chat with on a dating site without having met her in person first.

Be sure to like, comment, and subscribe 'cause you know, you're mentally incapable of doing these things yourself unless I remind you after every video and because I have to beg for these things as my parents never hugged me as a child.

comment down below, I read all comments and care about your opinion even though there are 3k comments down there.

It really annoys me the way younger generations use social media. It’s like they’re promoting a business, only... what they’re promoting is themselves. And seeking attention and affirmation instead of money.

I remember wishing there was a like system in CF before they had one. now sometimes I wish they did not have one cause sometimes I get tired of liking peoples stuff. I don't want to spam like their stuff.

it's awkward when everyone clicks the prayer thing and you feel semi-compelled to click it because you don't want to seem like you don't care. then you feel like "i'm only clicking it so I don't look bad" which is so disgusting. my prayers are usually pretty simple, I get overwhelmed and think that everyone needs God. I often find little need to pray about specific things. I tend to think God already knows better than me.

I try not to care about validation. I care about funnies, nice dialogue, interesting things or simply being honest.

doh. but James W. Pennebaker's linguistic studies are cool.

http://www.slate.com/blogs/xx_facto..._i_reflects_your_status_power_and_gender.html

But in fact, the opposite is true: Women say “I” more than men; insecure people say it more than those who are confident and assured; melancholy souls say it more than ebullient ones. As the Wall Street Journal reports, “pronouns signal where someone’s internal focus is pointing.” And we pay more attention to ourselves when we are suffering, self-conscious, or eager to please.

~~~
The researchers found that the leaders used “I” in 4.5 percent of their speech, while the followers salted 5.6 percent of their conversation with “I”s. (This finding rings true: How often has a leader in your workplace talked about what "we" can do to improve the quality of whatever it is your workplace produces? And then you answer, "I don't know if this has already come up, but I was thinking...")
I love social media. I've been withdrawn these past few years, mainly focused on health and getting my life back in order. If it wasn't for Facebook, CF, and other sites (and amazing online friends), I would've lost hope a long time ago. Life is easier when you have a great support system and amazing friends around you. Now that I'm pretty much back on my feet, I'm starting the process of getting back into the swing of things.
CF is the only social media-type site I use right now and I'm thankful for it. After all, I've met some wonderful, kind friends who care about me on here, and I care about you all as well! :):purpleheart:
