Well then, tell me how you go about casting out demons. How do you identify these demons? Have you ever set eyes on one of these demons?
Have you not read your bible?
I cast demons out just as is shown in the scriptures, by commanding them to go in Jesus name. And as Jesus himself said (below), it is the Holy Spirit that drives them out.
Matt12v28"But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.
You will also note here what Jesus said, that
driving demons out established the kingdom of God. This also means that in failing to drive demons out, believers and churches are actually facilitating the kingdom of Satan!
Driving demons out is not just the duty of pastors or specialist deliverance ministers, but the duty of all who claim to be Christians!
Its time we stopped making excuses, casting demons out is a required part of that great commission!
The gospels show that the common people could readily identify when someone was demonised and ask Jesus or his disciples to cast it out. Sadly today, the so called enlightened Christians of the west would rather believe modern psychobabble than God.
They no longer believe in demons.
Additionally, Christians in the west who might read about demons in their bibles are then falsely taught by their leaders that demons can't touch Christians. This foolish ignorance can be seen in countless posts on this and other forums.
Thus, because of its total unbelief, the church actually empowers the demonic realm!
Have I seen a demon? Yes, a few times I have actually seen them, but most demons can be readily identified by their effects.
You can't see the wind, but you know its there by what it does.
Most demons are identified by common carnal characteristics. Thus if a man has problems with lust, it is very likely that he has a demon of lust. If he cannot control his anger, he is likely to have a demon of anger.
Even if he manages to suppress that anger, he can still have a demon of anger that requires constant suppression. Much rather it was cast out so he can live his life in victorious peace instead of struggling with inner uncleanness.
In school, like most young boys I saw inappropriate contentographic magazines which were passed around. I don't know who brought them in but they were there, and they did their demonic work on me. I didn't know any better and was soon dragged into wanting more and into trying to get hold of them for myself.
In my mid 20s when I made a commitment to Christ, I then found that the lust I had enjoyed came back to "haunt" me. I knew it was wrong but was powerless to stop the effects it had on me. Even in marriage it was still their along with all the guilt associated with constant failure to overcome it.
Finally I realised it was a demon. I got it cast out and the problems ceased.
That is an example of just one demon, but there are countless demons associated with every sin of man or women. And believe me, sexual sin like inappropriate contentography is not just the preserve of men. Women get caught up in romance stories which are filled with the same sexual issues. Just because their inappropriate contentography is hidden in words rather than pictures does not weaken its power to demonise them!
Feel free to ask me any questions on this subject. I will try to give a fair answer from experience and scripture.
