What is your point? That is his name in Greek.

Why is it that only with Yeshua and Yahweh do we use
odd ways to get another name or title for them? Most
names have standard rules. You speak them as closely
as possible to the original, not to a translation or a
transliteration of a translation. With Yahweh it is even
worse, changing his name for a title and his title for
the name of an idol.

Isaiah 47:4

Our Redeemer—Yahwah of Host is his name— is the Holy One of Israel.

Isaiah 52:6

Therefore my people will know my name; therefore in that day they will know that it is I who foretold it. Yes, it is I.”

Malachi 2:2

If you do not listen, and if you do not resolve to honor my name,” says Yahwah of Host, “I will send a curse on you, and I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have already cursed them, because you have not resolved to honor me.

Last Days.

Zechariah 13:9

This third I will put into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are my people,’ and they will say, ‘Yahwah is our God.’”

Early Aramaic and Hebrew vowels

The early Aramaic and Hebrew vowel system is reconstructed as a o i u

Summary

The following charts summarize the most common reflexes of the Proto-Semitic vowels in the various stages of Hebrew:

Proto-Semitic: a, i, u.

Proto-Hebrew: a, o, i, u.

Secunda: a, o, i, u.

Tiberian: ɔ, o, i, u.

Babylonian: ɔ, o, i, u.

Palestinian: a, o, i, u.

Samaritan: ( a, ɒ,) u, ( e, i,) (o, u.)

The vowel “a” is pronounced, “ah.” The “u” is pronounced “ow or uw.” And the Ayin is pronounced “ah.”

Yahwah: יהוה

Yashua: ישוע

Some scholars argue that there are too many vowels in some Hebrew words.

You constantly posting Scripture using your spelling of The Name does not make it true somehow...

Do I understand correctly that your whole point is that God and Messiah's names have to be pronounced correctly? If so, I have two questions:
What if someone has a speech impediment -like Moses?
And Messiah has more than one name so does your rule apply to those names, too?

There is no "w" sound either in Hebrew
In modern Hebrew it is Vav, but in biblical Hebrew it is Waw. In other words, modern Hebrew changed the Waw to a Vav. That's why modern Hebrew does not have a "w" sound.

We are not talking about modern Hebrew here.

They don't even know what the correct pronunciation is for the name of the Father. Unfortunately, the pronunciation has been lost in time because certain people thought it too sacred to pronounce. That's why you will see LORD and GOD in all capital letters in modern translations where God's name is supposed to be.

These people who push the idea that you have to pronounce the name correctly are only guessing on how it is pronounced. That is why you will see so many variations of His name among these groups of people. [Staff edit].

Yemenite Hebrew (when studied by linguists in the 1950s) determined it was virtually unchanged from the first century. It has no "w" sound. (it also pronounces the final hay) Most Jewish linguists insist that Hebrew NEVER had a "w" sound.

That's not true.

Adam called his wife "Chawah"

Genesis 3:20
And Adam called his wife's name חוה ; because she was the mother of all living.

The uau takes the W sound in her name.

Also, "Leviticus" in Hebrew is pronounced "Wayikra" ויקרא

The UAU can take a U/O sound or a W sound, depending on the word.

ETA: when the earth came to be in Genesis 1, it was "tohu wa-bohu" תהו ובהו

Also, my name, David, in Hebrew, is Dalet-Uau-Yod-Dalet. It is pronounced "Dawid", with a W.

See post 75.

Those all take the "V" sound instead of w.
According to who you believe, which is okay.

I've yet to see any evidence of the UAU ever being pronounced as a V. That's a modern invention.

They have studied it out more than anyone.
Have you interviewed them? Have you checked their credentials? How do you know most think this way? I think you are taking a leap of faith here. Read this: Wa or Va
