@Jeshu by any chance are you and the wife hoping to be pregnant?
What inspired you to address this issue today?
Your comment that that my poem on love making was impressive is what sparked my thoughts back over the years and how The Word has taught me to understand Him to work within my dwelling place. How to explain all that in one session I don't know but I'll try and share with you how child bearing became my predominant focus/love in/of my life.
To be sure I was always jealous of my wife during the times she carried our children. (we have four natural children and adopted our fifth one.) It has been a dream of mine to be able to do that as well for many years. Sure not some trans sexual thing, but much more the awesomeness of being allowed to make and carry new life - this has always fascinated me - and the most beautiful demonstration of a good looking woman to me is one who is late term pregnant - simply love that swollen blessed look. Always have!
1 Timothy 2:11-15
A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. But women will be saved through childbearing – if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety.
However this Word has been an eyesore for many years when it came to my love for God's word. I couldn't understand why the bible was so sexist or so I thought at the time - knowing a little history and seeing how women were still treated in my church and how i myself also was raised to treat them. A bit confusing to say the least when Paul also claimed there was no difference between male and female in Christ. For a long time I was convinced some tyrant of a church leader must have added it, but knowing John's warning in Revelation 22 I dared not take it out.
The Jesus came to the rescue!!!
He explained how in my sinful flesh I signified a woman, indeed that i was the offspring of prostitutes and fornicators and as such had no rights whatsoever to see myself as someone among the sons of God.
For the son of God came first in me - we are all born sons of God when it comes to that - and out of his physical reality in me came her reality - my self in physical self - and like we all know to be true from the story - in The Word as well as in our book of life - (the two witnesses of Revelation 11 in us,) it is in her we fall for sin, and just as Paul drives home in the above, not otherwise.
Once this awareness in me began to grow I began to see the difference between female and male spirituality but I have to admit it took a long time to really become clear how bad sin truly was in me before I understood the significance of The Word's animosity towards the feminine down here.
These Words droves this message home to me
Zechariah 5
I looked again, and there before me was a flying scroll.
He asked me, ‘What do you see?’
I answered, ‘I see a flying scroll, twenty cubits long and ten cubits wide.’
And he said to me, ‘This is the curse that is going out over the whole land; for according to what it says on one side, every thief will be banished, and according to what it says on the other, everyone who swears falsely will be banished. The Lord Almighty declares, “I will send it out, and it will enter the house of the thief and the house of anyone who swears falsely by my name. It will remain in that house and destroy it completely, both its timbers and its stones.”’
Then the angel who was speaking to me came forward and said to me, ‘Look up and see what is appearing.’
I asked, ‘What is it?’
He replied, ‘It is a basket.’ And he added, ‘This is the iniquity of the people throughout the land.’
Then the cover of lead was raised, and there in the basket sat a woman! 8 He said, ‘This is wickedness,’ and he pushed her back into the basket and pushed its lead cover down on it.
Then I looked up – and there before me were two women, with the wind in their wings! They had wings like those of a stork, and they lifted up the basket between heaven and earth.
‘Where are they taking the basket?’ I asked the angel who was speaking to me.
He replied, ‘To the country of Babylonia to build a house for it. When the house is ready, the basket will be set there in its place.’
It wasn't until I met The Word here in my life that I finally understood Revelation 17 and where the harlot in flesh - my life in and with unfaithful love - was hiding within my existential reality and all her children.
I don't know if you know the story but this is what my lot was in her. When Jesus exposed her ruling my sinful as well as my religious life.
Revelation 17:15-18
Then the angel said to me, ‘The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages. The beast and the ten horns you saw will hate the prostitute. They will bring her to ruin and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire. For God has put it into their hearts to accomplish his purpose by agreeing to hand over to the beast their royal authority, until God’s words are fulfilled. The woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth.’
It was when her power over me died that I wrote the poem My Lord and Husband and swore to be the fruitful wife of Isaiah 54 and no longer the unfaithful wife of Hosea.
I have been pregnant ever since (I'm crying my joy telling you this, ) for brothers and sisters everywhere ought to understand that Revelation 17:15-18 is utter desolation when suffered on the wrong side of The Word and I had missed Jesus' warning in Matthew 24:15-21 altogether thinking I was saved because i believed in Jesus even though I was unfaithful to His love command every day!
However The Word came to my rescue in my desolation like always and gave me vision and perspective like never before. Such a great prophecy to be within -and which keeps coming true every day again no matter how I must battle my enemies I know ruler ship comes to the Daughters of Zion through child bearing God's sons into my existence and no other way and very happy to desire my Husband let me assure you, He is Greatest of Lovers. Hallelujah!
Isaiah 54
‘Sing, barren woman,
you who never bore a child;
burst into song, shout for joy,
you who were never in labour;
because more are the children of the desolate woman
than of her who has a husband,’
says the Lord.
‘Enlarge the place of your tent,
stretch your tent curtains wide,
do not hold back;
lengthen your cords,
strengthen your stakes.
For you will spread out to the right and to the left;
your descendants will dispossess nations
and settle in their desolate cities.
‘Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame.
Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated.
You will forget the shame of your youth
and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood.
For your Maker is your husband –
the Lord Almighty is his name –
the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer;
he is called the God of all the earth.
The Lord will call you back
as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit –
a wife who married young,
only to be rejected,’ says your God.
‘For a brief moment I abandoned you,
but with deep compassion I will bring you back.
In a surge of anger
I hid my face from you for a moment,
but with everlasting kindness
I will have compassion on you,’
says the Lord your Redeemer.
‘To me this is like the days of Noah,
when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth.
So now I have sworn not to be angry with you,
never to rebuke you again.
Though the mountains be shaken
and the hills be removed,
yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken
nor my covenant of peace be removed,’
says the Lord, who has compassion on you.
‘Afflicted city, lashed by storms and not comforted,
I will rebuild you with stones of turquoise,
your foundations with lapis lazuli.
I will make your battlements of rubies,
your gates of sparkling jewels,
and all your walls of precious stones.
All your children will be taught by the Lord,
and great will be their peace.
In righteousness you will be established:
tyranny will be far from you;
you will have nothing to fear.
Terror will be far removed;
it will not come near you.
If anyone does attack you, it will not be my doing;
whoever attacks you will surrender to you.
‘See, it is I who created the blacksmith
who fans the coals into flame
and forges a weapon fit for its work.
And it is I who have created the destroyer to wreak havoc;
no weapon forged against you will prevail,
and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
and this is their vindication from me,’
declares the Lord.
I hope I made a little sense - most people declare me mad when they hear how i read the word but i swear by Him He is greatest dining on when it comes down to it.
Revelation 9:9-10
So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, ‘Take it and eat it. It will turn your stomach sour, but “in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.”’
I took the little scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it. It tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour.
Talk about the possibility of artistic expression - unbelievable!
Peace.
