Can curse and prayer kill someone?

I have been on other discussion boards for years and have seen many trolls I see anew member 1st post is claiming they have prayed for people to die and they died, Who prays for people to die that is a Christian? this is not something any Christian would ever do. Then to pray for your own death. This shows that you have no idea what being a Christian is and you are posting ridiculous ideas to get a reaction.

I was praying for them to die when i was an atheist, and now i have changed myself and become a Christian and now i only want to know if i killed them.

But no, you didn't cause anyone's death. However, wishing death on someone is certainly a sin in itself, and if you are EO, you need to speak with your priest about this. He can both reassure you where needed, but also give you proper guidance.

By the way, I'm going to ask that your thread be moved, as this forum is meant only for asking for prayer.

And if you are EO, you might want to visit The Ancient Way, which is the EO forum here on CF. Especially if you are having such questions as this, as an Orthodox Christian. Fellowship from like-minded believers may be of benefit to you.

God gives us 70 years to live and if for reason of strength we are given 80 years. There are different scriptures that talk about how we can add years to our life on top of that so people can live up to 120 years. If people die before their time God may allow that but it is the work of Satan and not the Divine will of God. Even babies are aborted before they are born. That is a result of God giving the mother freedom of choice. We can choose life or death, sickness or health, blessing or curse, poverty or prosperity. God's will for us is to choose life, health, prosperity and blessing. He does not make the choice for us. Each individual has to make that choice for themselves. If they die before their time then that is the work of the enemy. "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." John 10 10 If we serve God He will keep us alive so we can continue to serve Him.

Even if a person prays to Satan for someone to die, it wouldn't happen just because you prayed to Satan.

People have no power over life and death.

Normally I would say a prayer like yours would not be answered. But in some cases it can be answered. There was an example in the bible where youths started berating a prophet of God, the prophet cursed the youths, and a bear came out an killed the youths.

If the person you cursed was innately sinful, like a child molester, or wicked person, God may determine it is better for them to be dead, rather than continue to harm others.

If they did, God was chastising you. Christians are to pray for good things, not curses.

Hmmm .... I don't agree with this ... God will not chastise a person by causing the death of another. He would rather, let the person live, to show the prayer was not in love. Nothing changes a person like unanswered prayer.

Although you are correct that all prayer should be prayed in love, there is biblically room for curses, in fringe situations. Jesus did tell us to "bless and not curse", so it should be very rarely that a curse be uttered. But the bible does show us that in cases of rebellion against God's spirit people do die.

Friend, only God himself can "speak" and make something happen. We (you) do not have that kind of power. Satan now, he can use people and twist things to make them feel like they have that kind of power..Satan is god of this world only..be careful (2 Corin. 4:4, John 12:31, 2 Timothy 2:26..the trap or snare of satan is there for unbelievers). I caution you to let go of anger....it does you no good and is sinful. Let it go...call on God to help you...He loves you and will answer your call for help, but not the call to hurt. God Bless

I can tell you I speak with God Verbally and he with me. Not here to here anyones opinion about that either. The curse killed him. Not God. God is good to his enemies. What you did was murder.Blessings and cursings should not come from the same mouth.
