Will Bob answer no also?
The fact is too often the SDA resort to trickery and deception to try to gain converts and I'm glad they do just that as people can see that all of his sources disagree with him that the Sabbath Day is Saturday. He cannot seem to let go of the Sinai covenant.
The process of “Conflict Resolution” eliminates interpretations producing a conflict with other passages. This process acts like an X-Ray or MRI machine to search for conflicts in interpretation which could cause problems within the Body.
Sola Scriptura forces believers to accept what is written in the text. This means we cannot ignore those passages not fitting our doctrine.
Like the lost ark of the Sinai covenant in the movie “Raiders of the Lost Ark”, the New Covenant foretold by the prophet Jeremiah has been buried under manmade systems of interpretation for over a thousand years, hidden from the view of most believers.
In the Apostle Paul’s letter to the Galatian church, he reveals the promise made to Abraham was made to one Seed. He also says the Sinai covenant was “added” 430 years “after” the promise made to Abraham, and the inheritance does not come through the Sinai covenant. In chapter 4 of the same book, the Apostle compares the Sinai covenant to bondage, and compelled these early Christians to cast out the Sinai covenant of bondage. Once we take Paul’s words at face value, we are forced to look for another covenant. This covenant was revealed at the Last Supper by the One Seed who would fulfill this New Covenant in His Blood.
Mat 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament (covenant), which is shed for many for the remission of sins. (KJV)
Many of those who have ignored Paul’s words to the Galatians have substituted the Sinai covenant in place of the New Covenant. They have in effect failed to cast out the Sinai covenant of bondage. This has hidden from sight the thread connecting the one unchanging purpose of God to send the Seed who would fulfill the Promise made to Abraham in the Book of Genesis.
It is time for the modern Church to read the report produced by the Body scan and take action to return the Body to optimal efficiency by embracing the New Blood Covenant.
The prescription written in Blood by the Great Physician is the only thing that heals.

I'm not offended in the least as I've upheld the truth that we aren't under the 10 commandments because it is an inseparable part of the Mosaic Law and that the commandments of the New Covenant are summed up by a handful of commandments given in the New Testament like love your neighbor, put your faith in Jesus, love God, the focus isn't on do's and don'ts but on love and faith it is a covenant of the spirit and heart not one of the flesh. As far as Christians go the word "sabbath" to us means rest and not a ceremony or day or year or whatever but a 24/7/365 type rest in Christ upon his finished works on the cross.I hope you will not be offended, but I have finally come to understand that Christians are under the New Covenant, instead of the Sinai covenant. This is where the confusion lies.
My wife and I worshipped today with our church body. However, nowhere in the New Testament will you find a commandment for the early Church to keep the Sabbath. You find just the opposite.
This day for us was a day of worship. We will have another day of worship on Wednesday when we meet in the home of one of our Christian friends for a Bible study.
Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Col 2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
Some think the Sabbath was moved from Saturday to Sunday. However, this is not found in the New Testament.
The early Church did meet on the Lord's Day. However, it was not called a Sabbath.
Act 20:7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
We are a part of the promise made to Abraham and Abraham was not commanded to keep the Sabbath.
The Sinai covenant came 430 years "after" the promise to Abraham "until" the Seed could come to whom the Promise was made, which is Christ. This if found in Galatians chapter 3.
Based on the words of the Apostle Paul in Galatians chapter 4, he compels the Galatian church to "cast out" the Sinai covenant of bondage.
Therefore, if we are indwelled with the Holy Spirit, every day is the Sabbath, because the Lord of the Sabbath lives inside of us.
So, the trickery really is about convincing Christians that we should not cast out the Sinai covenant of bondage, with its Old covenant Sabbath.
Here is the shocker. Bob is correct about Saturday being the Sinai Sabbath.
However, we are not under the Sinai covenant of bondage.
We are under the New Covenant of Christ.
Heb 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

Did either of these fellows keep a Saturday Sabbath?

There is not one text in the New Testament that requires anyone to observe any day, but there is one that says the Sabbath is a shadow.1. There is not one NT or OT text saying "week day 1 is the Holy Day of the LORD" but we DO have that for Sabbath in Is 58:13. (AND we do not have ONE text in the NT or OT that says "week day 1 is the LORD's Day)
2. There is not ONE text in the NT or OT that says that "they met EVERY week-day-1 for gospel teaching" for both Jews AND gentiles but we DO have that for Sabbath in Acts 18:4-6.
3. There is not ONE text in the NT or OT that says "they met week-day-1 after week-day-1 " for anything - but we DO have that in Acts 13 and Acts 17 regarding Sabbath for both Jews AND Gentiles.
4. There is not ONE text in the NT or OT saying "from week day 1 to week day 1 shall ALL MANKIND come before Me to worship" - but we DO have that in Is 66:23 for the Sabbath.
5. There is not ONE text in the NT or OT saying "the Son of man is LORD of week day 1" but we DO have that in the NT for the Sabbath in Mark 2:28.
6. There is not ONE text in the NT saying "there REMAINS therefore a week-day 1 rest for the people of God" but we DO have that for Sabbath in Heb 4.
7. There is not ONE text in NT or OT saying "remember week-day-1 to keep it holy" but we DO have that in Ex 20:8 for the Sabbath.
8. There is NOT ONE text in NT or OT saying it is ok by God if we bend/edit/break/ignore one of the TEN Commandments - but we DO have condemnation for doing such a thing in the NT -- by the Words of Christ Himself! Mark 7:6-13
Nowhere in the NT do you find the command to "Not take God's name in vain" quoted in total - or even in part.
But you DO Find the Sabbath Commandment quoted.
The fluff-rule "whatever is not repeated shall be deleted" is not from the Bible.
Nowhere in the NT is the text "every day is Sabbath" - so you "quote you" for that to make that point.
Excellent post! I don't believe the organized church ever will. It will mean the end of their easy money. Most real Christians in organized religion are addicted to the system. I no longer participate in it. Play would be a better word conveying something closer to the truth but would be ver misunderstood. He cannot seem to let go of the Sinai covenant.

As far as the modern Church and the 10 commandments go, overall, most have almost become Judaisers
.
"
There REMAINS therefore a SABBATH rest for the people of God" Heb 4.
"WORSHIP Him who MADE the heavens and the earth the seas and the springs of water" Rev 14:7
"the saints KEEP the Commandments of God AND their faith in Jesus" Rev 14:12
"what matters is KEEPING the Commandments of GOD" 1 Cor 7:19
Here's how to be perfect, the only way.did either of them affirm all TEN of the TEN Commandments as applicable for Christians - to this very day??
You ignored my DIRECT question.... did ANY of these people you are using to try and convince us to keep the Sabbath ON Saturday ACTUALLY keep the Sabbath on Saturday?did either of them affirm all TEN of the TEN Commandments as applicable for Christians - to this very day??

Actually what I was implying was he has these people whom he says agree that the 10 commandments are binding on Christians and even a few that claim we should keep the Sabbath but so far I haven't seen any proof ANY of these people in his list even attempt to keep a Saturday Sabbath when if his claims are true they should all be commanding their flocks to keep Saturday when often they sort of keep Sunday and consider it obeying the 10 commandments. These people are clueless as the whom is under the 10 commandments which includes a Saturday Sabbath and to whom the 10 don't apply directly in context as listed in the Old Testament. Jesus himself quoted 9 of the 10.... and OMITTED the Sabbath Commandment which really should give these Sabbath Keepers a huge clue but they desire to keep the Sabbath and in that desire don't feel right about keeping it until they convince others that they should be a "Sabbath Lemming" so to speak and follow their lead blindly. It was amusing. There was this forum where Adventists were constantly fighting with fundamentalists, 7 days a week. They were always there, absolutely no different behavior one day to the next. I had a hard time getting an answer as to why they were trolling the web, typing and fighting with people on the Sabbath. The other sorts of legalists are also amusing, saying Christ came to write the Torah on our hearts, yet they can't recite the begats, nor do they keep, even know what it would entail, to keep the law, supposedly now written on their hearts. They're almost always Gentiles, like children dressing up in cowboy costumes, playing make believe Jew, who have no idea how to be a Jew, from square one. Yet they tell people we need to keep the law, except for the sacrifices. They too have no problem posting to people in forums on the Sabbath. It's scarcely evident when some of them would have found the time to do any sort of worship, much less let anything rest.
