As I stated in my previous answer to this - Sola Scriptura testing is what I believe in -- I would never argue that one must not worry about taking God's name in vain - until they are first sinless. And most on this board would agree with this obvious point.

I have also stated that even these pro-Sunday scholars accept the Bible fact that the moral law of God is still binding on all the saints.

Paul said "what matters is KEEPING the Commandments of God" 1 Cor 7:19
Paul said "do we then make void the Law of God by our faith? God forbid! In fact we ESTABLISH the Law of God" Rom 3:31
Heb 8:6-10 "I will write My LAW on their mind and on their heart"

Because in the GT section of this board - some groups are at war against sola scriptura while others claim to affirm it.

But when you come over to Sabbath and the LAW of God -- section of the board - suddenly some of the sola scriptura crowd forget it entirely.

Seems to be a great deal of interest lately in the Romans 8 affirmation of God's Ten Commandments

In Romans 7 Paul contrasts the law of the "sinful nature" vs the Law of God - that is Holy and good. The law of the sinful nature brings death and is contrasted this way with God's Law.

Romans 7
21 I find then the principle that evil is present in me, the one who wants to do good. 22 For I joyfully concur with the law of God in the inner man, 23 but I see a different law in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin which is in my members. 24 Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from the body of this death?

In Romans 8 that law of the sinful nature is called "the Law of sin and death".

And those enslaved to it - "Do not submit to the LAW of God - neither indeed can they" according to Romans 8.
