Lord have mercy; a nuclear war anywhere is the last thing we need

Is that where your ceramic products are from?

We had a busy day today; it is good to finally sit and rest this evening :)
At least our errands are done for the week; tomorrow we will visit my grandson when he gets home from the hospital (he is having permanent tubes inserted in both ears)

Have a nice night everyone ~ God bless

The clay, was rolled on a table by me [myself and I]
the parts too, were handformed and adjoined by me [myself and I]

After the biscuit firing it was dipped in white glaze compound
to give it a uniform background base for the colours, that will decorate it
which, I then applied, with help from, myself and I

:D

I do not import goods from Korea, and then, 'claim' them, as my own :p

Am resolute, re: not providing 'clues' meanwhile LOL

Yes, we can do-without a nuclear-exchange occuring anywhere on the planet
The fallout will soon circle the globe

'Blame', should be placed upon the 'creators'
of the first, such weapons
and, for their SELLING-ON, of the technology, for personal gain

It was like, Iran could / would strike Israel, within a year or so [a while back]
Nowadays, it is looking like PRIDE, is about to create a FALL for many

I am not at all concerned, for we are ALL, in His hands

I think keeping busy with our regular life is the best thing to do...if we have a nuclear war, I want to be one of the first to go...I have reservations in one of the best hotels in the universe! :D

When your pics are ready we will be glad to see them Dave...your latest creations.

I am about ready for a nap.

Hi everyone. I was on the bus to go to a doctor's appointment, but the driver hadn't the slight idea how to secure a wheelchair. I transferred to a seat, but with no shoulder strap and not even an armrest for balance. I got off, went back in the house and rescheduled my appointment for December. More than likely, I won't use that bus service.
I'm starting a new book later tonight, maybe. Bev will be back tomorrow, although her foot isn't completely healed.

Have a good night, all.

It is a blessing that I live just 4-5 blocks from our library. I can borrow both books and dvd's, although lately I've been quite a book worm. I read Christian fiction usually.

Good morning

Now that we are both retired I hesitate to say TGIF because time passes so quickly these days  ;)

Last night we had chinese food; first time in almost a year, and what a mistake!
It was delicious but I am paying for it today with a bad headache
The scale batteries died so I can't see the fluid gain (it needs those special flat round cells)but I am sure my weight is up at least a couple of pounds!

Recently I have been too indulgent with food I do not normally eat, and a bit lazy re: exercise due to the wet weather.
As a result my body is rebelling...so today I am re-starting my healthy lifestyle
I feel so lousy I have no choice anyway ROFLOL ^_^

To top it off.....I was awakened out of a sound sleep at 3:30 AM by MICE playing in the attic over my head.
I am not talking about little feet scampering and soft scratches.....it was LOUD clawing under the insulation and at the sheet rock above my head....rolling, chewing and dropping acorns
When banging on the wall didn't help I put my heavy ear plugs in and started praying.
My nerves have been a bit frayed these days because of weather, bad diet, not sleeping well, allergies (just don't feel well)
and for the first time in 30 years I was FREAKED OUT!
We get them every year at this time when it gets colder...set out bait and they are gone; usually no biggie (must be a sign of my age :p).
Hubby was just up there 2 days ago because I had heard noises when I was up late, but didn't put the bait in the usual places,
so he will go back up today.

That is the news from the 'boonies' of New England :D

Ah well ~ C'est La Vie ~ this will pass :holy:

Have a wonderful weekend everyone

We have mice here too....

They avoided the traps that kill them outright
So I bought a couple of humane mouse catchers

I caught eight over several days
and the remainder, God knows how-many more there can be
just leave their droppings around the room perimeter
and, wont even enter those traps that have proved so-successful

So now we are going to 'poison' them... [bait]
When I do this, we must ensure the dogs cannot reach [eat] the bait
Therefore, I will undo the footplate under the kitchen cupboards and seal the bait behind it

It is the nuisance and the health 'factors' that drive me to be rid of them
~who ? wishes to eat mouse dropping and urine :green:

 Yes, have a great weekend everyone

LOL ^_^ Dave (resident mouse chaser)

I feel for you because at least mine are restricted to the ATTIC and not in our living area.
Only ONCE in 30 years did one venture into our kitchen because we stored a bag of dog food on the cellar stairs; he met with a quick death :p
It IS nasty to see droppings in your cupboards etc

I agree...the traps are not as effective...but the bait has been very good.
They take it back outside to the nest* and they go outside for water (so die out there).
*Here they come in just for warm living in the winter; thankfully we have always been able to curtail their activities IN the house.
Update:Hubby just said ALL the bait was eaten in just 2 days
Maybe I can sleep tonight :D

Praying you get ahead of your problem

I don't know if you meant this to be funny, but I am chuckling...;)

I have been over eating too...its those wonderful tortilla chips again...love them, but can't eat just one...so it is back to less of everything for a while. I am tired of walking, legs and feet hurt, but I go anyway...Gracie just loves it so much.

Our weather is cooling down, still sunny, but at least cooler.:hug::hug:
