No worries- Staff would have contacted you if there were any issues with your posts. I think the member was mostly doing stuff in other threads that gave staff a heads up- not so much this thread but we still had to clean it up.

Ok....it is good to know the staff is watching what is going on...we can't be all over the forum.

Me neither...I must be slipping :p

They should have edited out your reply to the troll and not removed the rest completely (at least that is what they USED to do).
Be assured you both remain in my prayers
Praise God for Lupus being ruled out Tom
Continued prayers as you and the docs discern her diagnosis and treatment :crossrc:

Mary and I have just got indoors

We went to Son 'Andrews' for dinner ... a delicious curry :D

Anyway, afterwards we were to watch a bit of telly
and I struggled to hear Peter Kay's jokes
over the convo that Mary had with 'Pat' [Andrew's wife] ALL-NIGHT !!!

I have mentioned [here] how Mary likes a good-natter
perhaps I should have had a zip installed prior-to our leaving home

:D:D:D

Yes, it was a very good night
I won't be on much longer, as it is already 2.10 am

Hello, everyone :)

I hope your weekend is going along well. Ours has been good, with a great service today and good weather to make up for last night's rain and high winds.

I'm home again now, but while visiting my father, we had a bumblebee decide to explore inside Dad's house, only to find it couldn't find the way out again. They're very aptly named. :D Dad guided it out through the back door in the end. :)

Hi Joyshirley
Glad you had a nice time!

We are just back from our walk ~ it was a brisk one because it was chilly!
I needed light gloves and my heavy (homemade) Irish knit sweater
The rain is holding off until mid afternoon it seems.
We pulled more veggies from the garden, and are hopeful we will get a few carrots next month.

Have a a blessed SONday

Special prayers for you then Tom...she has been seriously ill...there must be a reason....:hug::hug:

Thank you sincerely for your continued prayers. Yes, she was seriously ill - life-threateningly ill. What we know for sure is that her lungs were filling up with fibrous tissue - greatly reducing her ability to breathe. The specialist thinks it's an auto-immune disease like Lupus, but he doesn't know which one. A good thing is that the treatment is working, regardless that we don't know what she has yet. We have a series of tests and procedures over the next 2 weeks, including a biopsy of muscle tissue. The specialist says that we must find out exactly what it is for long-term successful treatment. I understand and agree.

Well, at least the medicine is working, PTL, Tom.

The colors are nice around here; that's about all I can say for fall.

We don't get fall colors here...not close anyway....

I went to church, but have felt badly today, headache and sore throat...now I am resting and drinking a lot of tea. Not hot outside, but very bright sun...hurts my eyes.

It could be worse Shirley Sis'.... [?]

Here, I pay £1.50 per litre / [= £9.50 per gallon] ERROR sorry!!!
So, in fact it must be 5 litres. @£1.50 per litre = £7.50 per gallon
~ USD $11:35 [approx' equiv']

How much, does your's cost, per gallon ?

? How long, is a "short stick" ?

Still more-expensive...
I guess it is American Fuel Import 'costs' and the British Government Fuel Tax
that makes our's so much more costly

:ouch:

:)
