What if you have a Gift, that you don't understand ?

Greetings: Errrr, how do you know you got a gift if you don't understand? Can you open up a bit more?

I received the gift, not long after I started following Christ. I believe it's the gift of discernment.
I had what has been happening to me, but I can't find it now. It will take a while, but I can write it for you all to read if you want.
This started when I was 24 & now i'm in my 50's. I pray maybe someone can tell me something about as to why i'm seeing this.

It all started when I told a 7 year old child, that he should listen, to his mother. He was sitting on the ground & he looked up at me & when I looked into his eyes, a cold wave went over me & my knees started to buckle.
I Knew I was seeing pure evil in this child. I pulled myself away & went home.

The second time was years later, in a church. I just touched a child's head, to pray for her (she was praying at the alter on the floor) She looked up at me with the cold evil stare I had seen in the young boys eyes. I pull my hands away & we just stared at each other.

The third time was at a prayer meeting, after we had finished praying. I believe it was satan himself. I saw him in a woman's face. It was like looking at something that was 3D. Her face was moving in waves it seemed. It looked like satan face, you see in a bad horror movie. He was red & discussing looking. The woman seemed to be out of it, just sitting there unaware what was happening. I went into the room with the rest of the group & as I stood in their mist I heard the Holy Spirit say, the Devil is coming after you. (shock)

Then years later the fourth time was just a few years ago, at a family gathering. I was attacked by a demon. If it hadn't been for the dad, grabbing the child just in time, I would have been hit over the head with a 5 ft poll.

Such an evil look, was on that child's face. The dad had to take the child away, to calm him down.

This was the first time, I have ever been attacked by a demon.


I feel like i forgot something... well that's enough for now.

Easy G: I have seen that documentary 'Finger of God' and it is so incredible and awe-some! I could watch it over and over again because I just see the wonderful goodness of God to all peoples in how He surprises and loves on them in such unique ways!

It is truly amazing to see the ways the Lord will meet people where they are and how He is not limited by what limitations man may have...

It seems to be coming through children only? I have seen that look and I know what you mean. I don't think it means that HaSatan is coming after you per se, but more like he knows you are a threat and will use those he can to quiet you. But don't fear, the L-RD will protect you, and he can't touch you unless allowed. It is fear that will tear you up so don't let it catch-hold. Just know that when you see this, it is a reaction, a reaction to the one who lives inside you, it is hatred towards that, not you. Be comforted in knowing that.

I would love to hear your testimony sometime and hear of your walk.

Don't be surprised to see this in someone, an adult that you believe is a true believer, a man or woman of G-d, because it can happen, I speak from experience.

Children are easy marks today, sad to say, but with the TV they watch, music they hear, video games they play, it opens them up to be easily possessed. Not to mention the messing with the food and drugs in the water, all makes for a dangerous cocktail.

Just be glad it was a child and not a full grown man. I hope that wasn't one of your family members, but even so, don't be fooled, it can happen from someone you least expect.

It doesn't happen a lot but I've seen it in adults mainly and felt it ---- it's hard to explain a feeling --- like a combination of a shudder, fear, and malevolence. Probably doesn't make much sense but some things don't make much sense.

Hi Lulav. Thank you for your words of encouragement, they are much needed.

The child that attacked me was my cousins little boy, who at the time was only 16 months old. It was a shock for sure.

When I saw satan in the woman, is when I heard the words in my spirit say that the devil was coming after me. I was shocked to hear those words.

I try now not to look a child in the eye. I am very aware of what I might see.

We'll have to share our stories of our walk sometime. I would like that.

At the time I didn't think of what I saw/felt as a demon. But I did feel evil.

I think that the absolute reaction comes from two opposites coming face to face.

Think of the man in Gadarenes, how he reacted when Yeshua came upon him.

They know.

I remember when I was younger, , can't remember how long ago, but I had a dream I will never forget. I don't have 'prophetic' dreams but I must have been dreaming of something which I never recalled, but I do remember that there were these clouds, smoky like, thick billows and that was all I could see. I wasn't 'there' but dreaming, hard to explain. When you dream you are usually there in the dream or looking on, in this case I was not. I was laying in my bed and knew I was dreaming. I don't know how long I looked at these dark billowing clouds, and what was really strange was that they were smoky colored, and what came next was too, and I always dream in vivid color.

There was no sound, so that is why I probably started so quickly, but all of a sudden out of the smoke came this face. Just popped out and screamed at me. I don't remember any words, it was like such frustration that there were no words to express it, only and angry anguished scream.

Needless to say, it startled me awake. I sat up in bed shaking.

I've never had a dream or nightmare like that before or since. I know it wasn't the usual dream like dreams are meant to be, your mind sorting out the things of the day. I don't watch horror movies or anything of the kind so it wasn't something I'd seen.

It was more the emotion behind it than the face itself.

It was pure hatred, totally opposite of the Love of G-d within. It was anger, and malice and the 'want' to do something to me, only it couldn't and that make it even angrier.

This is what you can see in someones eyes. I have always been able to 'read' someone that way. I can always tell if someone is lying to me, and people don't like to get close to me for that very reason. It's like magnets, two opposite poles, push away from each other. They can never connect.

Light does not have any connection to darkness. That is because G-d made that separation in the Beginning.

That's because it is usually outside our realm of dimension. When we glimpse through that veil it is unnerving. :o

One thing is, is that I did not feel any fear when I saw the demons in the kids. Just surprise.

When I went to move out on my own, my girlfriend and I found this old house, which we were going to fix up. Price was right. We got down to the basement and there was among the other garbage of empty bottles and such this flasher poster. We threw it into the garbage bag just like the rest of the stuff.

Next morning it was on the table, and after accusing each other of pulling it out of the garbage bag and putting it there, we crumpled it up and threw it in the garbage bag. Next morning we found it without a wrinkle on the table, so we tore it up and threw it into the garbage bag. Next morning there it was, now it was getting weird and a bit scary. We had been telling our friends about this, and one of them said we need to do a seance to get rid of it. This person made a circle on the floor, with the tips of the start made in the center touch the circle and that was where the candles were placed. The center candle was what we were to focus on while the request was made to rid us of the poster. The room got dark and heavy. It started to stink a stench like it was from the dead. The room even though the lights were one got dim that even that even the candles could give off much light. The presence of evil permeated the room.

I cried out "Jesus" and a light flew threw the window directly onto the center candle light putting it out and the room immediately dissipated from the darkness, stench, and heaviness back to normal. We were never bothered by that poster again.

Yes, there is the dimension in which angels dwell and it is available to view if you ask the Lord for the gift of spiritual sight, but be prepared to see and be especially prepared for the view of the battles that go on for your soul.

I think the L-RD protects his own.

I remember going to a slumber party when only about 11 years old. The girls whose house it was at had a Ouija board. I had never seen one before and didn't know anything about it. I did have one of those 'magic' 8 balls which was just a fun thing so I thought it was something like that. They got to playing and asked me to put my hands on the planchet?. For some reason I felt strange, like I didn't want to go there. So I shook my head. I got teased of course and never invited again. But I'm glad that the L-RD was watching out for me and let me know not to get involved in that.

You need spiritual sight to see a demon - that is a gift of the Spirit. Paul tried to explain it in Ephesians where he speaks of 4 dimensions; a good attempt to explain it given their language limits and understandings.

Thankfully, when demons show up, one can control them if walking with the Lord and taking authority over them as the apostles and Christ did...for the Spirit was given for that purpose
