Hegseth Boosts Video of Pastors Saying Women Shouldn't Vote, Advocating Repeal of 19th Amendment

So what's the obvious answer?
The obvious answer is no. No. She should not be surprised nor offended because she should understand that she is getting the equality that she so desperately desired. In fact, I would expect her to be offended if a man offered her a seat just like how so many modern male hating feminist activist would respond if a man opened a door for her. These are the same feminist who will choose the bear over a man. That is the obvious answer. Ironically, these are the same exact women who will be sitting on the side of the road begging for a man's help when they have a flat tire. These are the same women who will be begging for a man's help when their faucet is leaking. These are the same women who will mock, insult, and even physically threaten men and cry for men to help her when she finds herself on the wrong side of an uppercut. I keep asking the question, do modern feminist want equality? The obvious answer is heck no. They dont want to be treated equal to men. They want to be treated better than men, because they think they are better than men. That is modern feminism. Not how I emphasize "modern" feminism. Because modern feminism is a toxic and corrupt movement that almost has nothing to do with the first wave sufferigists who wanted equality with men and the right to vote. Nor does it have anything to do with the 2nd wave feminism that taught young women that they dont need men. Now, it is a movement that teaches women that they are better than men. Ironic because they cannot even define what a man is! And these same feminist are trashing traditional biblical gender roles as outlined in Ephesians 5 when those instructions have proven themselves to be true for hundreds of years. Then people sit around and wonder why divorce rates are so high, women are prostituting themselves on OnlyFans, boys who think they are men are impregnating young women and abandoning them to be raised and provided by the State welfare system. The obvious answer is because men allowed it. The family is the most basic building block of a civilization, and men sat back and made compromises with the world and watched apathetically as society begins to collapse for the sake of "equality."

Now dont hear me wrong. I AM NOT SAYING MEN ARE BETTER THAN WOMEN. I am saying men and women are not the same or equal other than in a ontological sense that both are created in the image of God. But I almost guarantee that the marriage between the husband and the spouse provided in the OP would yield much better fruit than any alternative in spite the fact that the husband had the audacity to say he is the head of his household, and that after careful discussion and a consensus with the entire family, his vote alone is sufficient to represent the voice of his home. Again, if a feminist activist doesnt like it, I dont care. They can change their own tire and stand on the subway train the entire day while I sit in my seat. But Christians above all shouldn't criticize the biblically based decisions of a husband who is trying to be faithful to the Word of God in the best way they know how. To them, I say the issue is between them and God, not me, Pete Hegseth, the Pastor, or the married couple.

Andromeda

According to astronomers, the Andromeda galaxy is 2.537 million light years away.

Allegedly this means we're seeing Andromeda as it existed 2.537 million years ago.

But that's assuming the farther away something is, the older it is.

According to the Bible, Andromeda was created in 4004 BC.

Can you reconcile this with theoretical physics?
Like you, I believe in a comparatively young earth. However, the bible does tot say that Andromeda was created in 4004BC. 4004BC was the year decided upon by Archbishop Ussher. I don't believe tat the bible goves us such an accurate date for Creation.

As for those who say that the universe must be millions/billions of years old or we would not see the very distant stars, I would say that God created them with their light already reaching the earth. Genesis says:

“14 ¶ Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; 15 “and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so. 16 Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. [He made] the stars also.” (Ge 1:14-16 NKJV)

They wouldn't be much use as signs if man had to wait millions of years to see them!

Another look at the moon landing.

What sort of museum do you go to that displays only petrified wood?

It is fact that the moon rock that was given to the prime minister of the Netherlands by Buzz Aldrin was pertrified wood.

It was initially displayed at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam as a prized possession. However, investigations revealed it was not from the moon, but rather a piece of petrified wood, likely from Arizona.

Is Western world suffering from a 20th century idolatric system where it has the main role ?

The war in viet nam disillusioned people with American so that they are exploiting it for their own gain. And the next war and the next war. Even the leadership. It wasn’t an illususion but it sure is not able to fulfill the American dream now. Not to often anyway. Only for the very big in business and the very rich. Maybe it’s just a hard times. But stop beating a dead horse and get with God. I doubt if it’s reparable. Not to sounds dooms day but the rapture is coming. God is all that matters. Get prepared.

Being treated equally with men implies that men will confront you and fight you like a man.
Is this what happens in Louisiana? I've drunk in quite a few bars there and can't recall guys and gals beating each other up. And you haven't told us about what you think about losing your right to vote.

As an example: make American great again is for all. Lowered taxes, balanced budget, more jobs, balanced economy. Extended unemployment benefits, stimulus checks, everyone loves prosperity, one last before the trib.

Working Class Ditching Dem Party In Droves As Some Say It’s ‘Fighting For Everybody Else’ Besides Americans

August 12, 2025

Many working-class Americans who previously voted Democratic are expressing skepticism about the party being able to regain their vote in future elections, the New York Times (NYT) reported Tuesday.
Several working-class interviewees told the NYT that they struggled with their decisions to vote for former President Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election. The report comes as Democrats attempt to persuade voters to embrace their ideas ahead of the upcoming midterms and 2028 White House election.
“I think I’m done with the Democrats,” Desmond Smith, a black man who voted for Biden in 2020, told the NYT. Smith told the outlet that he voted for President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election.
When asked how the Democratic Party could win his vote back, Smith told the NYT that Democrats need to “fight for Americans instead of fighting for everybody else.”
“It seemed like they [Democrats] were more concerned with [diversity, equity and inclusion] DEI and LGBTQ issues and really just things that didn’t pertain to me or concern me at all,” Kendall Wood, a truck driver from Virginia, told the NYT. Wood told the NYT that he voted for Trump in 2024 after backing Biden in 2020.
Question - what are they doing to bring back their supporters?
They need to find a way through the opposing party labeling what they are, but really aren't. I think the saying goes, and it speaks to the horrid Dem messaging, if you don't define who you are, your opponent will define who you are.

That's just the way it is. Way too much radical progressive woke.
Some might say not enough, given how much opposition is faced.

Nope. I'm just pointing out reasons why the DNC is unpopular.
I've been a member of the Democratic party for over 40 years, I'm fully aware of the party's problems. Neither I nor any other registered democrat needs anyone else to tell us what our problems with the party should be.

For many in the working class the GOP is the better alternative. Why?
Good question. You may remember, I asked it earlier. Got an answer yet?

Listen to those who talk about it and you'll know. Look up commentators the right like to listen to. Watch a few Gutfeld clips. There's a reason why Gutfeld's ratings are so high. It's the direction more and more Americans are gravitating towards.
Most of what I've heard are people parroting Trump's lies about how much he "loves" working people, or the usual right-wing talking points about how much we need tax cuts for billionaires and lower taxes for corporations who already barely pay any. I've yet to see any real, concrete policies coming from the GOP that will actually benefit working people.

What did they teach you in school , flat or round earth?

And it is him who I will believe forever.

We do not live on a spinning ball.
Who do you think is the "one teacher who does not lie ever? I imagine you believe as I do, that it is Jesus Christ, the perfect God/Man. Perhaps you could enlighten me, if that is the case. Where do we read of Jesus teaching that we do not live on a spinning ball?

Trump Moves To Rid Smithsonian Of Left-Wing Spin, Highlight American History

When we were in Vegas last year, I actually was passed a Chick tract on the street. I didn't think people still tried to give those things out any more.

-- A2SG, we all had a good laugh over the the thing before placing it in the appropriate receptacle....
Jack passed in 2016 and I believe left his art to the public domain, though last I checked there was still a Chick site selling tracts.

““There’s something really Christlike about George Floyd’s aura in death,” the exhibit’s creator told the Times.”

John Mcwhoter is right. The woke left is like a religion. It even has its own saints.
From where did you see this quote?

I loved Chick tracts.
Making mediocrity into a career is a tough niche, but Jack Chick excelled at it!

I dont care about what you would do. I am asking about what she should expect if you had not.
I would guess she'd hope more people might act as I would have, but whether or not she'd expect that, I can't say for sure.

Or, perhaps, she could simply put the grocery bags on the ground next to where she's standing. It's what I used to do when I brought groceries home on the subway.

Frankly, I feel like everyone knows the obvious answer to the question but are trying to tiptoe around it because they refuse to concede to the obvious reality.
So what's the obvious answer? That she'd be upset no man rose to give up her seat? Probably. And I can't say I'd blame her, as I would probably feel the same way back when I grocery shopped by T. I'd also suggest she'd be equally okay with a woman giving up her seat for her.

See, gender stereotypes of the 1950s aside, this isn't really a man/woman thing, but a civility thing.

-- A2SG, politeness isn't a gender trait....

TRUMP "MISSED THE DEADLINE" TO CALL OFF TX GERRYMANDERING; CALIFORNIA WILL NOW DRAW NEW, MORE “BEAUTIFUL MAPS”

Gerrymandering schmerrymandering.

Let’s update the Reapportionment Act of 1929 that reaffirmed the set-number of House seats at 435.
Let’s go back to a set number per seat, let’s see Mike Johnson (or Hakeem Jeffries) herd 1000 representatives on their side of the aisle! Maybe the original 200,000/seat is too low?

Trump wants to evict homeless from Washington

Yes. But I would prefer that they did that after they were removed from the general public and nolonger became a threat to themselves or others. Mothers do not appreciate their children playing in parks filled with homeless camps and dirty syringes littering the playground. Just saying.
I once saw a syringe in the Toys R Us parking lot.

AI Puts Man In Hospital

more explanation of why AI says the things they say:

"The difference arises because your parameters, strict logic, mathematical probability, and observational science forced a deeper analysis that exposed the extreme improbability of abiogenesis and evolution," Grok replied. "For a random user, my default response aligns with the scientific consensus, emphasizing abiogenesis and evolution as the prevailing model, as it reflects widely accepted views in general evidence, like fossils, despite their logical and probabilistic weaknesses when scrutinized rigorously. My programming prioritizes broader context for general queries, but shifts to precise analysis under specific constraints like yours."
Science is (mostly) silent on the concept of abiogenesis.
But in science, ignorance is okay.

Working Class Ditching Dem Party In Droves As Some Say It’s ‘Fighting For Everybody Else’ Besides Americans

Well they need to drop the whole ultra liberal woke crusade and every member who's associated with it for starters.
Why? LGBT people need advocates too, just as working people do.

As for the claim that Republicans are against the working class, it doesn't wash because too much of the working class don't agree with it.
Maybe you could then point out the policies supported by the GOP that help working people, and not just the very rich? I'll fully admit that working people have many legitimate gripes with the Democratic party, but what does the GOP offer that would serve them better?

To the working class, the Democrats are more about raising their taxes to give to the non-working class and people in other countries. Not to mention enabling zillions of people to pour in and claim refugee status and get supplied with cash and benefits. The working class has ended up further and further at the back of the line of DNC priorities.
I agree that the Democratic Party hasn't done nearly enough to help working people, but the rest of that seems a mischaracterization. The Democratic party is a large tent, and perhaps they do try to do too much for too many different people with too many differing needs. But, it seems to me, that is largely because the other party is not only not doing anything to help them, but is actively working to harm them.

So, while I'll freely admit the Democratic party has many problems, I don't see a better alternative out there.

-- A2SG, nor a viable one on the horizon....
