It’s been a minute since I’ve been heard around,rest assured I visit everyday.

Unfortunately I’ve found myself in a sad and heart straining situation.For those of you who aren’t aware,I raise chickens,and they all are like pets to me,pets that I love dearly,not more than Jesus however.

One of my “favorite” ones,Annie,has contracted something that is affecting her severely.My hypothesis is coccidiosis,a parasitic protozoan thag obstructs the intestines from absorbing food and nutrients and essentially causing chickens to starve.

I’ve been worried to death about her and I’ve been treating her extensively,providing her with the proper medication and encouraging her to eat and drink.Last night I begged and pleaded to The Lord sobbing to please save her life,to ail me Instead of her.

To make matters more difficult I’ve been having an anxiety attack worried that this trial is potential proving my faith isn’t real by some chance.Which is only fueling the fire of my concern as for those of you who know me,a deathly fear of mine is not being a child of God.

Overall this situation is overwhelming me,and I have deeply acknowledged this is all in Gods control and he is the one dictating the circumstances during it,and the breath of life my dear chicken has is his and he can do with it as he pleases.I try to look at it this way,if she remains here,she’ll have a great 10+ year life full of love and peace,and if she dies,her breath of life Goes to an even better place,back to the Father for eternity.

Our salvation from sin is a gift from God. The faith to believe in Jesus is a gift from God. And in God there is no variation or shadow due to change. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. His will for humankind is the same today as it was in creation, and as it was under the Old Covenant, that we should live holy lives, pleasing unto God, and that we should worship him only as our only God and Lord, and that sin is not to be our practice.

The Lord brought us forth by the word of truth. That means that our salvation should be in line with the word of truth, that it should agree with the teachings of the Scriptures and with God’s will for our lives. And since our faith comes from God, and God is holy, righteous, upright, honest, morally pure, and faithful, etc., so should we be also. We should be those who have died with Christ to sin and who are living to his righteousness.

And this is so that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures, i.e. the cream of the crop, the best stuff, the stuff that is pleasing to him and that is pure and that is suitable as an offering to him. Our lives are to be given to the Lord as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to him, which is our acceptable worship of him. And we should no longer be conformed to the ways of this sinful world but we should be transformed of God’s Spirit.

But many people today professing faith in Jesus Christ are being deceived into believing that they can make a profession of faith in Jesus Christ once in their lives and that all their sins are forgiven (past, present, and future), that heaven is now secured for them, that it can’t be taken away, but regardless of how they live. “But regardless of how they live” is not what is taught biblically. Jesus didn’t teach it, and his NT apostles did not teach it.

Jesus taught that if anyone would come after him that he must deny self, take up his cross daily (die daily to sin), and follow (obey) him. For if we hold on to our old lives of living in sin, we will lose them for eternity. But if for the sake of Jesus we deny self, die daily to sin, and we follow him in obedience, then we have the hope of eternal life with God. For not everyone who calls Jesus “Lord” will enter heaven, but the one DOING the will of God.

And Paul taught that faith in Jesus Christ means death to sin and living to God and to his righteousness, and it means that we now live for the Lord and no longer for ourselves. We no longer walk in obedience to sin but now in obedience to our Lord and to his commands (New Covenant). For Jesus shed his blood for us on that cross to buy us back for God (to redeem us) out of our lives of slavery to sin so we will honor God with our bodies.

So we are not to be deceived into believing that we can go on living in deliberate and habitual sin and that God will not judge us for our sins. For the Scriptures teach that we are all going to stand before God/Christ one day to be judged by our works (deeds), and if we are those who make sin our practice, and not righteousness, and not obedience to our Lord, then we will not have eternal life with God, regardless of what our lips profess.

But this isn’t just about sinning habitually or not sinning habitually, for there are many people who live fundamentally moral and upright lives, who are “good deed doers,” and who attend weekly “church” services, but whose lives are not committed to serving the Lord Jesus Christ and to doing his will. For they are still living for self to do their own will. Jesus is not really their Lord (Owner-Master) for they are still lord of their own lives.

So we can be those who live basically good and moral lives, and even those who profess faith in Jesus Christ, but who are still not saved from our sins because we never died with Christ to sin, and so we were not raised with Christ to walk in newness of life in him, no longer to live as slaves to sin, but now as slaves to God and to his righteousness. For we never denied self, died daily to sin, and followed the Lord Jesus wherever he led us to go.

And one of the reasons why this is the case is that not many are teaching the whole truth of the gospel, even if they are teaching holy living and not living in sin. For so many are reducing faith to a prayer that we pray or to a confession of Christ as Lord, but they are not teaching that faith in Jesus Christ requires that we die to sin and to self, not just once, but daily, and that Jesus is now owner of our lives and we are his now to do His will.

But even that is not all of it. Jesus and his NT apostles made it clear all throughout the New Testament that if we are to have salvation from sin and eternal life with God that this walk of faith in our Lord must continue until the day that we die and/or until Jesus returns to take us to be with him for eternity. For if we should revert to living in sin and for self and not for the Lord in obedience to his commands, we will not have eternal life with God.

So, when you are presenting the message of the gospel to other people, please make certain that you explain to them that Jesus died on that cross, putting our sins to death with him, so that we will now die to sin and to self and so that we will now walk in obedience to his commands and according to his will and purpose for our lives. So a prayer of faith is a prayer of surrender to the Lord to do his will. But if him we deny, he will deny us.

Hi everyone, I had an idea- if you are praying for someone who is working for a living you may want to pray that God's anointing is on them in their line of work, I know of several other believers that are in IT and also ethical hacking for their line of work, I have been praying for them that the ethical hacker anointing would be upon them and that the IT anointing would be upon them! I also know of someone who is a college professor at Messiah University and I have been praying for the college professor anointing to be upon him. I have also prayed that the IT and ethical hacker anointing would fall upon his students!

Hi everyone- if you live within driving distance of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania you may want to take a road trip, there is a church in town called Christ Community Church. This church has a special anointing on it to heal people of mental illness! I have a mental illness called schizophrenia. I have been going there for prayer every sunday for about 5 weeks, I have experienced alot of healing doing this, the special anointing is real guaranteed! Just come for the 10am sunday service and go up for prayer at the end! I have experienced more healing doing this than ever before at any church! I previously had a symptom of schizophrenia called a flat affect, the lack of expression on your face. I got prayer one sunday am at the church, I felt God do something but I couldn't tell what it was. I left and came home and happened to glance in the mirror and suddenly I realized the flat affect was gone! This is an incurable condition, there is no treatment for it! I have also been healed of a number of other things going to Christ Community!

This is the last friend I had in Detroit. (That's me and him outside a bar.) I heard that he moved far away to live with his daughter. I was driving around yesterday and realized that I literally had no one to hang out with. Most of my friends have died and others moved far away and we lost touch. I'm not that close to my family, so I relied on my friends for support.
I have people who are friendly at church, but they're in their 80's and don't hang out anymore. Just asking for a prayer request that I find friends around Detroit who are decent and I can begin to have friendships again.

How do we determine who the dogs are? And how are we to do that without violating His command to not judge? Are the dogs different from the false prophets who we can identify by their fruits? And lastly, what are the pearls exactly - the wisdom gained from our own experiences that He gives to His children for our testimonies, or His Word alone, or His Word combined with our testimonies?

BEIJING/TAIPEI, May 24 (Reuters) - China staged mock missile strikes and dispatched fighter jets carrying live missiles along with bombers on Friday, state broadcaster CCTV said, as part of exercises Beijing has said were launched to punish Taiwan's new president, Lai Ching-te.
The bombers set up several attack formations in waters east of Taiwan, carrying out mock attacks in co-ordination with naval vessels, it added, as China tested its ability to "seize power" and control key areas of Taiwan.

The two days of drills in the Taiwan Strait and around groups of Taiwan-controlled islands near the Chinese coast, which a Taiwanese official said also included the mock bombing of foreign vessels, started just three days after Lai took office on Monday. Taiwan has condemned China's actions.
China views democratically governed Taiwan as its own territory and denounces Lai as a "separatist". It strongly criticised his inauguration speech, in which he urged Beijing to stop its threats and said the two sides of the strait were "not subordinate to each other".

The Eastern Theatre Command of the People's Liberation Army said the exercises, dubbed "Joint Sword - 2024A", were to "test the ability to jointly seize power, launch joint attacks and occupy key areas".
"This action is completely reasonable, legal, and necessary to combat the arrogance of 'Taiwan independence' and deter the interference and intervention of external forces," said Wu Qian, a spokesperson of China's defense ministry.

"In the Beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth". There was actually 8 billion years between when God created the Heaven (Universe) and when God created the Earth. Although in the first instant of time a trillion, trillion, trillionths of a second all was there and nothing was added. Physical matter, time & all the natural laws were there in the beginning.

Hi! I would like to connect with other believers who watch Hemstraught's videos on YouTube or are curious about how he teaches and interprets the holy bible. He is a spiritual son of Kenneth E Hagin and Charles Capps, among others, and he teaches about worshipping the Holy Spirit as God in the earth today and, God in us. I love how he teaches the bible, although he is decidedly very quirky, the teaching is biblically sound. He teaches also, very extensively, on literal youth renewal. I do hope that I can start a dialogue here.

When the universe started cooling, the protons and neutrons began combining into ionized atoms of hydrogen and deuterium. Deuterium further fused into helium-4. These ionized atoms of hydrogen and helium attracted electrons turning them into neutral atoms. Ultimately the composition of the universe at this point was 3 times more hydrogen than helium with just trace amounts of other light elements.

Hey everyone. Im 43/m. Life just took a scary turn for me. My girlfriend of 15 years ended things for good with me two days ago. Basically she stayed with me longer than she should have i just couldnt get engaged for whatever reason im not even sure. The past year she took up travel nursing and we have seen each other much less but talk almost everyday. Well two days ago she broke it to me that shes been seeing someone. Even went on a vacation with the guy. So we are through. I know its my fault but that was devastating to hear and i cant get over it. Im so hurt and angry that she didnt tell me sooner. She said shes been sseing him for 4-5 months and was scared to tell me cuz i struggle with manor anxiety and panic attacks. Someone plz help. I am really struggling. I break down crying throughout the day as i am hurt and remember our good times and memories of 15 years and think about my stupid mistakes and not treating her the way i should have. I dont know where to go from here or what to do. All i have been doing is driving around aimlessly as i cant sit still and think about all this. I dont have anyone other than family really to talk to. I figured this was gonna happen at some point but i wasnt ready for it to happen. Education involving the Scriptures is different than secular education. In secular education we learn to formulate our own opinions. One’s opinion on a matter may be different than another’s, depending on their background and upbringing.

Education involving the Scriptures is different. One’s opinion on sections of the Scriptures is non-existent for all intents and purposes. That’s because an understanding of the scriptures is based on faith instead of an interpretation.

What is faith? Hebrews 11:1 tells us that “faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” The Bible gives us all the assurance we need because its words come from God. There is no ambiguity in the Bible when taken as a whole. The answers are found in the sum of the parts; you need only put the parts together. Our reasoning doesn’t matter: the only reasoning comes from God when He chooses to do so, as He’s done in Isaiah 1:18. Anything said by God is final. Anything said by God through Christ is final in terms of how we should conduct ourselves.

The conviction part of Hebrews 11:1 tells us that we believe whatever God tells us whether it be Him, Christ or the Holy Spirit. To explain what He means is needless when you know what is in the Bible. It is also risky, when you consider Revelation 22:18-19 I which says to “warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.” If you try to explain God, you risk adding to, or taking away from, what He says.

If someone tells you that God said this, or Jesus said that, he better be telling the truth for his own sake. If someone holds themselves out as knowing what God means, without an absolute reference to Passages in the Bible, it is best to get another clergyman.

What might the old TV show ‘Reading Rainbow’ have to do with all this? Many people were young enough to have watched the show, hosted by LeVar Burton. It was a show that was focused on things found in explanatory books. The books used in the show were secular in nature, so one is free to form an opinion on the relevance or any other attribute or indicator of what books are on the show. There is no sin in forming your own conclusions about what the books present, or in adding to or subtracting from what is in those books. The books were on things and ideas that had nothing to do with a direct understanding of what God wants from us, although it is not inconceivable that whatever went on in the show is a reflection of God wanting us to avail ourselves of how He made us and the works we are to perform for him that we may be fruitful toward mankind.

The purpose of ‘Reading Rainbow’ was to promote a love for books. There were a lot of subjects covered on that show, from animals, to the collapse of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Was there ever a ‘Reading Rainbow’ show that covered the subject of God and the Bible? Mr. Burton had significant exposure to the Christian faith, having gone to a seminary when he was young.

Why would he not showcase the Bible on ‘Reading Rainbow?’ One possibility that comes to mind is that in light of Passages above, he might have been weary of accidentally adding to or taking anything away from the Bible, as alluded to in Revelation 22:18-19. Another possibility is that the show covered secular topics which encourage drawing our own conclusions, so to discuss the Bible in such an environment would be contrary to us forming our own conclusions. The Bible is cut-and-dry. Everything in the Bible is absolute with no room for forming one’s own opinion.

The Bible is a book based on faith. In terms of the truth, that faith is the truth in and of itself. The secular truth, on the other hand, requires reasoning and an understanding of the natural world. That is open to a lot of interpretation and a forming of our own opinions, something in which ‘Reading Rainbow’ provided the background.

A new Republican governor is taking aim at the state’s coastal protection agency.

For the past decade, Louisiana’s program for coastal protection has been hailed as one of the best in the country, after the devastation from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita pushed the state to shore up coastlines, repair levees and protect natural habitats.

In an open letter published this week and signed by more than 200 business leaders, environmental advocates and other experts, various groups warned against Gov. Jeff Landry’s plans to transform the state’s Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority.

The moves come as other right-leaning states are also cutting back on climate goals and even references to climate change. This month, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) signed a bill erasing most mentions of climate change from state law. DeSantis is also poised to nullify the state’s targets for 100 percent renewable energy by 2050.

Since 2005, when Louisiana was devastated by two hurricanes, the coastal restoration agency has built or revamped over 300 miles of levees that hold back floodwaters, and restored dozens of miles of barrier islands that can absorb the pressure of waves and rising seas. The agency works to shore up these defenses in the face of future, stronger storms and higher seas.

Landry, who took office in January, has removed six members of the coastal restoration agency’s board and suggested subsuming it into another, larger department. In a memo, the governor said that such moves could help avoid government operations existing in “distinct silos” and improve efficiency.

The board is made up of some political appointees and some publicly elected government officials. “It just appears that independent [science-based] voices are being removed,” she [executive director of the Louisiana Wildlife Federation] said.
