People today are mostly in denial of what the future may hold for them. Worldwide natural disasters and manmade problems seem to be proliferating with no easing up or solutions in sight. It may just be possible for mankind to overcome its plagues, economic woes, resource shortages and rebuild earthquake damage, etc, but a prospective World War 3, starting in the Middle East, has the potential to practically wipe us out and pollute large areas of the earth.

A lot of people do not want to be concerned about the future, it’s hard enough just to get by without any extra worry and it is right that we must carry on doing what we have to for survival. Those whom God has called for a specific task must continue to do it and we all need to plan and provide for the future as though things will continue as usual. It is a mistake to sell up and withdraw to a hideout, as many failed doomsday proponents have shown.

However, ‘You, My friends are not in the dark’ about end times events. ‘It is ‘While they are saying: All is peaceful: sudden destruction will come upon them’. 1 Thess. 5:3-4 ‘My friends’- those who love the Lord and keep His commandments. Luke 21:34-36

The Bible [and the Apocrypha] have a very large amount of unfulfilled prophecy, that is not there for no reason; God expects us to take note of what He has told us through His prophets. Because so many incorrect ideas and notions about what God has planned abound in the church and in the secular world, it is difficult for us to overcome them and just simply believe the literal words of the prophets. Excepting for the obvious metaphors, which are used to describe events and scenes unknown in their time.

With the current world situation as it is, then we must expect something dramatic to change the situation and commence the end times events. The Lord had told us, through the ancient prophets, what this will be – in over 100 prophecies, of the great and terrible Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath, a judgement of fire that destroys His enemies and sets the scene for the fulfilment of Revelation 7 - 22, to Eternity.

We are clearly informed of the nature and extent of this event, it will be a gigantic fireball exploded out from the sun – a Coronal Mass Ejection of superheated particles that will envelope the earth and literally cause all the prophesied disasters. But there will be plenty of survivors, just a matter of staying under shelter until the CME passes; Isaiah 26:20-21, and fervent prayers for the Lord’s protection. Acts 2:21,+


The so called prophecy gurus, don’t have the truth and while their motivation is money and adulation, God will not enlighten them. Demonic entities can perform certain signs and wonders and they know what the Bible says, therefore they may give mankind information or dis-information, for their own reasons.

So, people are now without any real idea of how and when this huge threat will impact their existence.

The fulfilment of the Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath is ‘the Elephant in the Room’, the event that ‘comes like a thief’, but we who ‘are His friends’ can and should know of what the Lord has planned for His Creation.

A special prosecutor was dispatched to investigate Biden's taking and disclosure of classified docs during his tenure as VP....turned over 7 years later (roughly) by his lawyers.

The prosecutor, unsurprisingly, didn't recommend charges for the sitting president...but to his credit, his reason for doing so was honest. He said what even those in denial struggled to deny after Biden's debate....his mind is gone. He couldn't remember well his time as VP...and couldn't remember much of anything regarding the docs. The sitting president.

Some would dismiss this as partisan hackery without knowing anything about the special prosecutor. I'd say that while nobody probably expected charges....at least he was honest. It would have been nice to see the same honesty from Harris...but she did what the media did....and lied to the public about the president.

Black Lives Matter calls on the DNC to host a virtual snap primary.

Washington D.C. – Black Lives Matter demands that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) immediately host an informal, virtual snap primary across the country prior to the DNC convention in August. We call for the Rules Committee to create a process that allows for public participation in the nomination process, not just a nomination by party delegates. The current political landscape is unprecedented, with President Biden stepping aside in a manner never seen before. This moment calls for decisive action to protect the integrity of our democracy and the voices of Black voters.

While Joe Biden wasn’t our preferred candidate, we cannot ignore the troubling actions of the Democratic Party:

• The DNC refused to host debates during the primary, even though a vast majority of Democratic voters wanted them. This would have likely allowed America to see the decline of Joe Biden in 2023.
• The DNC changed the primary schedule and created rules that made it almost impossible for non-Biden candidates to appear on the ballot, effectively clearing the field of any challengers to the incumbent president.
• Following the primary where millions of Black voters weighed in, after one poor debate performance, the DNC Party elites and billionaire donors bullied Joe Biden out of the race.

Now, Democratic Party elites and billionaire donors are attempting to manipulate Black voters by anointing Kamala Harris and an unknown vice president as the new Democratic ticket without a primary vote by the public. This blatant disregard for democratic principles is unacceptable. While the potential outcome of a Harris presidency may be historic, the process to achieve it must align with true democratic values. We have no idea where Kamala Harris stands on the issues, now that she has assumed Joe Biden’s place, and we have no idea of the record of her potential vice president because we don’t even know who it is yet.

I love the irony. MAGA types have been accusing The Lincoln Project of being 'un-American' because they dare to continue to criticise Trump.

Wow, her campaign is gaining momentum by the hour, she has already raised more than 100 million in donations in this short time. In less than 48 hours she has already locked up more than 50% of delegates needed to win the nomination. The energy and enthusiasm on the Democratic side is amazing.

Agency retracts announced firing of key Baptist leader who had praised Biden’s withdrawal as a ‘selfless act’​

In under 48 hours, the head of the staunchly conservative public-policy arm of the Southern Baptist Convention rankled fellow Baptists by applauding President Joe Biden’s “selfless act” of withdrawing his candidacy for re-election. Then, his agency reported he was fired — and now they have reaffirmed his leadership.

The head-spinning series of events started Sunday, but by Tuesday morning, the SBC’s Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission announced that no, leader Brent Leatherwood wasn’t fired. Rather, he has the full support of his top board members — though its chairman resigned amid the agency’s retraction.

“There was not an authorized meeting, vote, or action taken by the Executive Committee. Kevin Smith has resigned as Chair of the Executive Committee.”

[But say a kind word about Biden announcing his departure from politics, and some apparently feel that contradicts the gospel.]

One big contention regarding Biden's presidency has been the entirely way too high cost of gasoline. Those of us who remember the much lower gas price under Trump recognized almost an immediate jump as soon as Biden was handed the keys to the White House. This price increase has undoubtedly added to the cost of everything else, making inflation worse. But any time we make this connection and say we want Trump because gas was cheaper, we are told a president has no control over the price of gas and Biden had absolutely nothing to do with the increase. It was just a coincidence that the prices increased and have stayed high throughout his entire term.

However, according to this article from MarketWatch, gas prices could react if Harris assumes the White House and enacts a policy change. They also expect that if the Democrats win, the prices will remain high, but if Trump wins, the prices could lower.

It’s not yet known if Vice President Kamala Harris will be the Democratic nominee and if she is, what she might do differently from Biden, he said. There’s potential that gas prices could “eventually react” if Harris were to announce a policy change.

A win for Democrats in November would likely mean “a generally more prohibitive stance on oil,” which would “likely keep prices slightly higher,” De Haan said. A win by former President Donald Trump “would likely mean fewer restrictions to drilling, environmental regulation and a more pro-oil stance, which could help ease some price pressure.”

Some of these articles seem contradictory. They do say the same thing: that Biden has no control over the market, but then there are lines like this hidden in them:

So, it seems clear to me that Biden's policies have had a major effect on the cost of gas, and presidents in general can influence them with their agenda. Refineries closed down or changed their operating status simply because they believed Biden would enact green policies, which have only hurt our economy. Gas prices alone will be a major issue this election. What are your thoughts?

Good evening, I'm Den. And I have a problem with clear understanding what the crop is.

What was the gospel that Paul preached? He preached Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, who is God, the second person of our triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. That Jesus Christ, who is God, and who is our creator God, left his throne in heaven, came to earth, lived on the earth, and eventually died on a cross to deliver us out of our slavery to sin so that we, by faith in him, might die with him to sin and now walk in freedom from bondage to sin in walks of obedience to our Lord and to his commands.

But he also preached that we must no longer walk in sin, making sin our practice, for if sin is what we obey, it leads to death. But if obedience to God is what we obey, it leads to righteousness and to sanctification, and its end is eternal life with God. For if sin is what we practice, and not righteousness, and not walks of obedience to our Lord, we will NOT inherit eternal life with God, regardless of what our lips have professed. He said that over and over again. The message could not be more clear. No “wiggle room” allowed!

He spoke all the time on the subjects of holiness and righteousness and godly living. And the grace of God which he taught was that God’s grace, which is bringing us salvation, is training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives while we await our Lord’s return. So, as we read this passage of Scripture, we need to read it in that light. For Paul was committed to Jesus Christ and to preaching the truth of the gospel of Christ. That was his life. That is what he lived for, to please God, to serve him, to obey him, and to preach the truth of the gospel so that many people would find true hope and true healing for their sins and eternal life with God via God-gifted and God-persuaded faith in the Lord. For by faith we die with Christ to sin and we now walk in obedience to his commands, in his power.

So, when he said here that he made himself a servant to all people that he might win more of them, in no way was he saying that he made any moral or spiritual or biblical compromises in order to win people over. So he did not serve anyone in the sense of doing what is opposed to God and to his word or that would require him backing down in any way from doing the will of God for his life. He did not let any person be his God. God was still his only God, and he followed the leading of the Lord in what he did.

So, whatever he did, he did not back away from serving the Lord in any way. He did not compromise truth or righteousness or the gospel or his commitment to the Lord and to the truth of the gospel in any way. But he found ways to relate to the people where they were in order to better communicate with them so that they would listen to him. But, again, this did not involve cutting short the message of the gospel to make it more acceptable to human flesh as so many are doing today.

So, let me give an example from my own life and ministry which I believe can fit here. The Lord called me 20 years ago to write down what he teaches me from his word each day and to post these writings on the internet. But as means of communication changed on the internet, the Lord began to add on to my ministry new ways of communicating. I still write out what he teaches me from his word each day, and I still post these on the internet, but even though some of them may be long to some people, they are half to a third or to a fourth of the length of some of my earlier writings.

So the writings became shorter, and some are longer or shorter than others. And then he added on writing and recording songs, which was all new to me, and then he added on writing poetry, and then he had me recording video talk devotions, and then Christian memes. So these are all different ways of communicating which may reach a wider audience than when I was just writing out my times of devotion with the Lord each day. So no compromise of truth or righteousness, just different ways of communicating with people.

This is basically a "part 2" to my first post here. (shout-out to @Sif and @bèlla )


To summarize, I felt abnormal as a Christian man because I find masculinity in women attractive, while femininity has little to no value, attraction wise. Then there's the fact that I'm kind of "effeminate".


I'm physically weak, have no real interest in sports or any stereotypically masculine pursuits, I'm lacking bravery or courage, and I don't have the "Hero Instinct" (a need to be needed). I'd hate to be admired for physical strength, and I have a grandmother and a family friend who both think I'm a genius because I'm more skilled with phones and computers than them, but that praise means nothing to me. To put it simply, I'm not masculine or manly (nor do I have any real desire to be). But I'm mostly concerned about the former.


How many Christian men and boys do you know with my type? I actually fell for 2 black women at my job on different occasions because the only thing feminine about them was their anatomy. They both worked out, used "bro" and "bruh" almost as much as commas, wore combat boots (the first did) or hoodies, sweatpants, and sneakers very often, and they didn't act feminine at ALL. One even worked security part-time. Both times, my crushes were spurned because they were lesbians.


Again, how common are Christian men like me? Femininity is practically worthless to me, in terms of attraction. Apart from desiring to be a parent, if you count that. Physical strength and prowess make my heart throb (and so does courage and being willing to fight and hunt). And personality-wise, I'm essentially trying to date/marry one of the guys, a real-life Private Vasquez. The more masculine/manly/boyish a sister in Christ is, the more attracted I am.


How common is this in the Church? Is this normal? Is my own condition something to worry about?
