The junior staffer hands the phone to Harris with it on speaker, for reasons unknown. Then she’s shocked both Michelle and Barack were on the call at the same time.
Michelle gives a completely fake, “Hey there,” to which Harris replies, “Aw, hi, you’re both together!” Is that how a human being answers a call? These aren’t the Clintons, is them both being on the phone out of the ordinary?
Then, in one of the worst and most awkward cuts in campaign ad history, Kamala is out of the theater and in a parking garage, standing by her SUV. Then Michelle, after literally only having said “Hey there,” launches into, “I can’t have this phone call without saying to my girl Kamala: I am proud of you. This is going to be historic.”
Literally, that’s every word Michelle Obama says in the video of the call the Harris campaign released. What does it mean? Nothing. “This is going to be historic”? Every presidential election is historic. Was she trying to say this would be different because she’s a black and Indian woman? Black has been done, woman has been done, and Democrats don’t really care about the Indian part, so what? Why couldn’t she have that phone call without saying that?
Even more confusing was all Barack said was, “We called to say Michelle, and I couldn’t be prouder to endorse you and to do everything we can to get you through this election and into the Oval Office.” Neither of them utter another word or even make a sound in the call, nothing.

1 Why would he be addressing "Christians"?
Why not address ALL American citizens who are eligible to vote?

2 Why does Trump not understand, that his lifestyle and choices disqualify him
from being some representative of orthodox Christians, in the government?
Trump is not a Protestant Christian. He has threatened judges and their families,
and suggested that the lynching of Nancy Pelosi and Mike Pence (outside the due
process of law) was the right thing to do. This is not Christian behavior.
Biden was not a Catholic Christian (not given how he supported abortion).

3 Would any local Christian congregation hire Trump to be their pastor?
This is a ridiculous concept. Who would trust Trump to even be their financial
advisor?

4 Why does Trump continue to NOT HAVE any specific policies, that he is running on?
Why this continual reference to "solving everything"?
Trump denied that the 2025 Plan was his outline of his policies,
even though this 900 page document fills out in quite a bit of detail how Trump
would seek to use legislation and the presidential powers to carry out his "slogans".

Why does Trump continue to deny that this 2025 Plan, written by his close former advisors
and friends, does not really flesh out his policies? This Plan includes the topics that Trump
has repeatedly asserted in past speeches.

If Trump has no specific policies, then he should be honest and say that.

If Trump's specific policies are different than the 2025 Plan,
then he should lay them out in more detail before voters, instead of
asking Christians to "trust him". After all, Trump is rich enough to have
hired a thousand managers to write specific policies to carry out his
"slogans". By now, he should have had detailed policies to present
to American voters.

It is disturbing to see this candidate for president, who has been convicted
of 34 felonies for financial fraud and trying to deceive American voters
as to his bad character, appealing to "Christians" to trust him, to "fix everything".
Trump's history, says that he is untrustable, and is not at all concerned with
building up America.

Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 election, because in her overweening arrogance
near the end of the campaign, when she had a substantial lead over Trump, she
started to mock religious conservatives. She seem to think that all religious
conservatives are anti-intellectual hillbillies.

Now, Trump, with his 34 felony convictions, and his Tucker Carlson conspiracy
theories, and his vague slogans about "fixing everything", also seems to think

I'd like to hear from others how they read the Bible. I'm not talking about how one interprets etc, but how you get the information into your head.

I'll start. I use this app: Download The Bible App Now - 100% Free and I LISTEN to the Bible. I will put it on when I am in the shower in the morning, or when I am out working in my shop. There are many passages in the Bible that if I were turning pages in a book, I would want to skip past them. But because I am listening, that is less of an option. I find that I can get through much more of the Bible this way. And I think I process it differently in my head. Also, I start at the beginning (Genesis) and listen all the way through to the end. Because the OT is so long, sometimes I listen to the NT twice before starting over again in Genesis. In the app, there are multiple versions, and I like to listen to different versions each time.

Something interesting, I just found word of this on the internet- apparently Iran, the islamic republic of Iran, has very high rates of clinical depression, something like 15%-20% of Iranians have symptoms ranging from mild to severe depression. I have a relative, who was a member of the United Methodist Church and perhaps still is, who is in tears and actually had to taking take anti-nausea medication due to a display that the UMC engaged in pertaining to the Last Supper at the Paris Olympics. I don’t have any details yet, but I gather that the UMC did something very unpleasant given how upset my relative is.

The relative in question is a tolerant and open-minded person, so for her to be so upset convinces me that whatever this was, it is the sort of thing that I greatly dislike.

Edit: the relative is unable to find the connection in the initial article involving her denomination, which had her so upset, but nonetheless I think this is an important issue which is so upsetting to Christians it has them making such an error.

What sins should a Christian confess to another Christian ? Or we should confess all they sins we aware we did to a Christian friend ?
