No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Embarassed

Hi. New here! Pretty new to a church. Not knew to church. They said if anybody wanted to go up and get prayed for to do so. I did. I felt so embarassed as I stood there (not knowing exactly where to stand) and nobody came. I feel so embarassed and let down really. I’m already struggling with my faith. I got prayed for but in the end it was rushed because we were finishing. Nobody really spoke to me after. My children LOVE the groups. I cant really let them go in and not go can I. Feel like I would be taking the mick. Do I speak to the church team about it or will they think I’m complaining? My mum goes and enjoys it. She has offered to take them, maybe i should take them up on offer. Any advice appreciated. Please be kind. Feeling a bit sensitive about it all. Emma

Iran blames Trump for ongoing protests, shuts down internet access

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei released statements on Friday implicating President Donald Trump in Iran’s recent violent protests. Crowds of people in Tehran and other cities destroyed buildings to please Trump, Khamenei said. Rioters put their hopes in Trump, but he can’t even manage his own country, according to a separate statement. Khamenei also accused Trump of being responsible for over 1,000 Iranian deaths, citing his role in Iran’s 12-day war with Israel last year.

The 86-year-old Khamenei also hinted at a firm crackdown against protesters, insisting that Iranian leaders won’t back down against people causing destruction. Khamenei claimed Iran’s enemies didn’t know what they were up against, adding that Iran had more equipment and weapons than ever. God will bring victory to all Iranians very soon, he insisted.

What’s going on with protests? Friday marked nearly two weeks since protests broke out across Iran over rising inflation costs. Despite the regime’s attempt to shut down the country’s internet access, videos of newly formed protests continue to appear on social media.

The Human Rights Activists News Agency, a U.S.-based monitoring group, reported protests happening in 46 cities across 21 provinces in a Thursday release. Swaths of strikes and market closures were also reported at the same time, specifically within Kurdish regions.

Israeli Military Intelligence Gave a Shocking Update on the Iran Protests

What is happening in Iran? Days of popular unrest, mainly over economic woes, have reached a fever pitch. The capital of Tehran has reportedly been lost to the protesters. Mayhem and chaos are spreading. More cities are breaking free of the grip of Ayatollah Khamenei. Police stations are being attacked, Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps offices are being burned, and police commanders are reportedly being picked off as well.

By faith Abraham obeyed and went out...

Peace in Christ.

The 144,000 are the “elect”…the “few”….the “house of Jacob”….the “vessels of His mercy.”

What are some of the attributes (for lack of a better word) of the 144,000?

The 144,000 do not defile themselves with (amid)“women”…that is, wives. They will not be part of the man-based churches. They will come out from among them and be separate…being “virgins”.

A man-based church is as a “wife” that many are “married” to so-to-speak. But these “wives” that many are “married” to are not being faithful to God as they are keeping and serving the commandments of men (their handwriting of ordinances) rather than keep His commandments. Our God is a jealous God.

They are actively teaching for doctrines the commandments of men that turn us from the Truth. Titus 1:14 . We defile our mortal bodies when we sit together with them.

The 144,000 are separated from them though…being “virgins.” They are redeemed from among men. They hear the Word of Truth and believe. They come out from among the man-based churches and are separate. They follow the Lamb out of them. They hear the Holy (to be separate for sanctification) Command of Him and do it. They will not turn from the Holy Commandment that is delivered unto them to keep. This is the Way of righteousness…to come out from the man-based churches and be separate from them. We then put of a “wedding garment” by doing so....being clean.

Rev 14:
(4) These are they which were not defiled with women (WIVES); for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

A man-based church is as a “strange woman” that teaches many strange doctrines which are contrary to the teaching of the true Christ.

They teach for doctrines the commandments of men as codified in their handwritings of ordinances/dogmas…their “images”. Their teachings are “dead” though. There is no life in them. They eat things sacrificed unto “idols”…that is, to their images. Many “eat” their dead teachings of which there is no life in them. The teachings of fleshly-minded men profit nothing.

The words of the true Christ though are spirit and they are life. They are the true sayings of God….the marriage supper of the Lamb.

Joh 6:63 KJV
(63) It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Except we eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink His blood, we have no life in us. He is our living sacrifice. His words are the true Bread from heaven. The words of earthly-minded men are death.

Joh 6:53-56
(53) Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
(54) Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life (AGE-LASTING); and I will raise him up at (TO) the last day.
(55) For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

(56) He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

If we eat of that Bread (the full knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ) which comes down from Heaven, we shall live INTO THE AGE….this age we are currently living in. We shall not mortally perish. When we eat man’s earthly teachings, we mortally perish. We don’t have an age-lasting life in them.

Joh 6:57-58 KJV
(57) As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

(58) This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever (INTO THE AGE).

Those that go to the man-based churches (the "strange woman"...or strange wife) do not attain the paths of life in them. MANY have gone down the broad way unto destruction….being led astray by false prophets. MANY have attended their churches. Their “house” inclines unto death…our mortal death. Their path is unto the dead.

This is whey we must come out from among them and be separate…no longer defiling our mortal bodies with them. Whoever is attending a man-based church is sinning against their own mortal body. 1st Corinthians 6:18 . Don't be flattered with the words of the false prophets who lead them. They speak "good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple". "And I see among the simple ones, I discern among the sons, A young man lacking understanding," who gets swayed by the flattery. Proverbs 7:7 - 21 .

Pro 2:16-19 KJV
(16) To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words;
(17) Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God.
(18) For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead.

(19) None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life.

Do not go astray in her paths for she has cast down MANY wounded and MANY strong men have been slain by her. Her “house” is the way to the grave….

Pro 7:24-27
(24) Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth.
(25) Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.
(26) For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.

(27) Her house is the way to hell (SHEOL…the grave), going down to the chambers of death.

The 144,000 follow the Lamb where ever He goes. They keep the daily sacrifice of the Lamb in their mortal bodies as they follow Him out of the man-based churches (the strange “wives”).

It is “expedient” that we follow Him out. If we depart, He will send the Spirit of Truth unto us.

Joh 16:7-11 KJV
(7) Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
(8) And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
(9) Of sin, because they believe not on me;
(10) Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;

(11) Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

We must follow Him out of the man-based churches. We go to the Father by doing so. We are then His sons and daughters.

Joh 14:28-31 KJV
(28) Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
(29) And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.

(30) Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

We show that we love the Father when we follow Him out of them. The Father has given us a commandment…the Holy Commandment…to “arise, and let us go from here.”

(31) But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

We are called unto His kingdom (government) and glory.

1Th 2:11-14
(11) As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children,

(12) That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.

The 144,000 receive the Word of God spoken in truth and sincerity in Christ. This is in contrast to the “word of men” that we all heard being preached in the man-based churches and many receive them.

(13) For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

The man-based churches that we once attended will persecute us for believing in the Word of Truth rather than believing their “private interpretations” of their “word.” Our own “countrymen”…our own church families that we once were a part of… will persecute us. But we are not to return evil for their evil but be faithful unto His death…dying to sin. We are to follow the Lamb …keeping His daily sacrifice.

(14) For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:

We who believe in the Word of Truth must not keep company any longer with the unbelievers (who will hear the Word of Truth and will not believe) in the man-based churches.

2Co 6:14-18
(14) Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

What part do we that believe have with the unbeliever? The man-based churches will not believe the Word of Truth when they will hear it. They will not believe and be saved.

(15) And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an unbeliever?

What agreement has the temple of God (of which we are) have with “idols”…that is, images?

They are keeping and serving their images…their external church handwritings of ordinances…rather than keeping and serving God’s commandments which are written internally upon our hearts.

(16) And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols (IMAGES)? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

We must come out from among them….among the dead man-based churches…and be separate and touch (that is, be attached) not to the unclean. The man-based churches are unclean ….and when we sit together with them, we are unclean as well. We are “one flesh” and “one body” with them when we sit together with them.

This is the Holy (to be separate for our sanctification) Commandment we are not to turn away from. This is the way of righteousness that leads to life….an age-lasting life to be had now in this mortal body. We are to go out from among them and go to the Father and be His sons and daughters.

(17) Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
(18) And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Let us not be seduced back to the man-based churches when we have just escaped from them.

The “pollutions of the world” are found in them….their church handwritings of ordinances…which defile their places of worship.

They self-govern and self-judge themselves by their governing documents (statements of faith, church constitutions, church by-laws, creeds, statutes, etc, etc, etc). They are patterned after the outside world’s governing documents….such as “constitutions.” They have brought these handwritings and have them established into their places of worship . These things are “abominations” that are brought into the place where His name is named.

2Pe 2:20-22
(20) For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge (epignosis = FULL KNOWLEDGE) of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

This is the Way of righteousness….to come out from among them and be separate. This is the narrow way that leads to life. This is the Holy Commandment that is delivered unto us. Let us not turn away from it.

(21) For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
(22) But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Abraham was “called out” as well. He OBEYED and WENT OUT. We must follow his example and do the same.

Heb 11:8 KJV
(8) By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

Abram was called out of his country and from his kindred and from his father’s house. We also are called out from the man-based churches…from our man-based church families…from the church fathers’ houses. We shall then inherit the blessings of Abraham. “Then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.” Galatians 3:9 .

We are called out to a "land"…that is, an EARTH…that He will show us. He will manifest the presence of Jesus through us to the people of the outside world….a great multitude…who will “see” Him and believe and will gather together around us.

Gen 12:1-3 KJV
(1) Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

(2) And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

In us shall all families of the “earth”….that is, the ADAMAH…be blessed. The “adamah” are the people of the outside world who do not currently have His Spirit within them.

(3) And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth (ADAMAH) be blessed.

Nonfiction

It seems that the only kinds of books I read anymore are nonfiction.

I used to read a lot of fiction when I was a kid, yes, but then I kind of grew out of fairy tale stories. I mean, isn't 38 way too old to be believing in that stuff anymore?

I have a memory of being like, 9 at the library in Longview, WA, and I was relaxing in the children's section reading a fiction book called Reddy the Red Squirrel by Thorton W. Burgess (I was going through a phase where I was really crazy about squirrels and so I naturally chose to read that book). That book was so good I still remember it to this day. He is an underrated children's author in my opinion. I couldn't put his book down.

Something unusual about that library I remember is that they had bathtubs padded with carpet on the inside, and you could literally relax in the tubs and read their books while doing so! I even tried it and liked it! :O

On my desk right now by my computer I have three books about animals. Because I love animals. They are field guides. They tell me where different animals live. I guess they are science books?

Do you guys read any nonfiction?

Ladies, what is the strangest thing a guy has ever said to you?

I was approached by this young man once years ago and he said to me, "Hey, honey! WHAT'S FOR DINNER?"

And I looked at him, confused, and I said, "But we're not married?" I mean, he called me honey.

I am NOT his honey. Not now, not ever.

I don't have to fix food for a man I am not married to.

But then I was more merciful; I told him that I had made lasagna that morning, that it was still on the stove top, and that he was welcome to eat it if he wanted it.

Maybe he meant it as a joke? Surely he was just joking. Because in my logical mind that makes more sense.

For a Sincere Love

“Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a sincere love of the brethren, fervently love one another from the heart, for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God.” (1 Peter 1:22-23 NASB1995)

This is speaking to Christians, to those who by God-persuaded and God-gifted faith in Jesus Christ have denied self, died with Christ to sin, and who are now walking in obedience to his commands, in practice, and who are no longer walking (in conduct, in practice) according to the flesh and in sin. For faith in Jesus Christ, which is of God, and which is biblical, and which is not of human flesh, is obedient to our Lord, living to please God in holy living. For the truth of the gospel means death to sin and living to please God.

For by God-gifted faith in Jesus Christ, which is not of our own doing, we are crucified with Christ in death to sin and raised with Christ to walk in newness of life in him, no longer to live as slaves to sin but as slaves to righteousness in walks of obedience to God’s commands. We are no longer to permit sin to reign in our mortal bodies to make us obey its desires. For if sin is what we obey, it results in death. But if obedience to God is what we obey, it results in sanctification, and its end is eternal life with God (see Romans 6:1-23).

For a sincere love for our fellow Christians is not of human flesh and human thinking, reasoning, and desire. For we love, even if we are hated in return. We love even when we are despised, rejected, cast aside as unwanted, and are regarded as though we have no value at all to the body of Christ. We love when people tell lies about us and abuse and misuse us, and when they treat us like dirt under their feet for them to stomp on. No matter how they treat us, we still love them, in return, and we do good to them, and not evil.

For this kind of love is based in moral preference, not in human emotion. This kind of love is based in God and in his divine nature, and it prefers what God prefers, which is all that is righteous, morally pure, honest, upright, holy, faithful, and obedient to God and to his word. When we love with this kind of love we prefer to live for Christ, choosing his choices, and doing his will, in his power and wisdom, by the grace of God. We want to serve our Lord, and we want to love others with the love of God, as God loves us.

We are not to live like those who are in the world and who are not in relationship with God by faith in Jesus Christ. We are not to become like the world in order to win the world to our gatherings. For Jesus called us out of the world to be separate (unlike, different) from the world because we are to be being conformed to the likeness of nature of Jesus Christ, our Lord, via surrender of our lives to the Lord to do his will. So we are not to blend in with the world to be acceptable to the world, but we are to please God.

So, please understand that is the ultimate in love when we sacrifice our own reputations in order to tell people the truth of the gospel, in order that they may be of biblical faith in Jesus Christ whereby they die to sin and now live to God in obedience to his commands and in surrender to his will. It is not love if we lie to people and if we alter the gospel to make it more acceptable and less offensive to them. Yes, they may like us better (or not), but they may spend eternity in hell because we chose not to tell them the truth.

So the kind of love this is talking about loves the people of this world enough to tell them the full gospel message in order that, by faith in our Lord, they will deny self, die to sin, and follow our Lord in obedience wherever he leads them in doing whatever he has for them to do, for his glory and praise. And that won’t make us popular, even as Jesus was not popular, either, except for a time when the people were enjoying his miracles. But when he told them what was required of them, most of them walked away, and did not return.

For Jesus Christ taught that to come to him we must deny self, take up our cross daily (die daily to sin), and follow (obey) him. For if we hold on to living in sin and for self, we will lose our lives for eternity. But if we deny self, die daily to sin, by the Spirit, and we walk in obedience to our Lord and to his commands, in his power, then we have eternal life with God. For not everyone who calls him “Lord” will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one DOING (obeying) the will of God (see Luke 9:23-26; Matthew 7:21-23).

When in The Stillness

Christ’s Free Servant, Sue J Love

When in the stillness of this moment,
Speak to me, Lord, I humbly pray.
Be my desire, set me on fire,
Teach me to love always.
Help me to walk in fellowship with You,
Listening to You; sit at Your feet.
Whisper Your words to me,
Oh, how gently, guiding me in Your truth.

While we are waiting for Your blessing,
Lord, in our hearts be King today.
Help us to live for you ev’ry moment,
List’ning to what You say.
May we not stray from your word within us,
Help us obey You, Lord, in all things,
Walking each moment, Lord, in Your presence,
Our offerings to You bring.

Help us to love You, Lord, our master;
Be an example of Your love,
Helping the hurting, lift up the fallen,
Showing them Your great love.
Teach them to love You, follow You always,
Bearing their cross and turning from sin;
Walking in daily fellowship with You,
Making You Lord and King.

Is this an example of online grooming?

I have a memory of when I was 15 I went into a chat room and the random men there asked me for sex. Being a Christian, I of course left immediately. I was appalled and scared. I thought they were sexual predators.

Was that an example of online grooming? Why are there so many sexual predators in chat rooms preying on underage children? Also, isn't it illegal for an adult to have sex with a minor? I was a minor at that time. And I was definitely not consenting to it or I wouldn't have escaped so quickly.

Open hearts for the Gospel

Shalom

We have a Bible stand here in Salzburg (Austria) on weekends, where we proclaim the Gospel and distribute Gospel literature.

Could you please pray for this in Jesus' name? May His will be done!

Especially that we may reach people's hearts with the Gospel.

Thank you very much, and may the Lord richly bless you (Luke 6:38, Job 42:10), and may He bless Israel in Jesus' name. Amen!
To God alone be the glory.

Stephen A. Smith sparks ugly spat with former ESPN star after his controversial ICE killing take

Stephen A. Smith has taken aim at former ESPN analyst Keith Olbermann as he goes on the attack after his controversial take on the horrifying Minnesota ICE killings this week.

Current ESPN star Smith released a follow-up video on Friday to his Wednesday take where he said the ICE officer that shot Renee Good three times in the head was 'completely justified' in his actions from a legal standpoint.

On Friday, Smith underlined his stance on the humanitarian aspect of Good, a 37-year-old mother of three, losing her life in an incident that has polarized the United States.

But OIbermann went after Smith following his midweek video, calling on his former employer to fire Smith.

'BTW speaking for a lot of people who actually built the place - it's time for ESPN to fire Stephen A. Smith,' Olbermann wrote. 'He is now damaging the brand in a way his on-air cartoon character could never approach.'

Smith did not let that comment pass on Friday after he had clarified his position on Good's death.

Pardoned Jan. 6 ‘Podium Guy’ Running for Office in Florida — Campaign Logo Is Him Parading Around with Pelosi’s Lectern

Adam Johnson, whose grinning photo carrying then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) lectern through the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021 became a viral image from the riot, has filed to run for county commission in Florida — and he’s using that infamous photo as a campaign logo.

According to a report by The Washington Post, Johnson was “apologetic” during the sentencing process and “acknowledged the riot ‘was violent.'”

“There were things there that happened that should never have happened,” he told the judge. “I’m ashamed to have been a part of it.”

“Removing the lectern from the place it was taken from was a very stupid idea,” he added. “Foolish, and something I shouldn’t have done, and I did make a mockery of a very intense and not great day.”

As reported by the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, Johnson announced he was running for the at-large county seat on Jan. 6, the anniversary of the riot.

The seat is currently held by incumbent Jason Bearden, a Republican, who easily won the primary in 2022 with 61.5% of the votes. Bearden is running for re-election.

Bob Weir dead at 78: Grateful Dead founding member and guitarist passes after cancer battle

The post revealed that Weir passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, after battling cancerand ultimately succumbing to underlying lung issues.

'It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Bobby Weir. He transitioned peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, after courageously beating cancer as only Bobby could. Unfortunately, he succumbed to underlying lung issues,' the message read.

'Bobby will forever be a guiding force whose unique artistry reshaped American music,' the statement added. 'His work did more than fill rooms with music; it was warm sunlight that filled the soul, building a community, a language, and a feeling of family that generations of fans carry with them.

'Every chord he played, every word he sang was an integral part of the stories he wove. There was an invitation: to feel, to question, to wander, and to belong.'

Weir had been diagnosed with cancer last summer, shortly before headlining a series of shows at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco.

Do human beings have an identity that is distinct from their biological brain?

Christians generally believe that they do, namely the soul and spirit. But what do you believe?

I believe that there is another self that observes the errors of my fallen brain and rebukes said brain for making them, groaning when I have to go back to the silverware drawer on the other side of the room because I forgot my fork again. (At this rate I am going to have an entirely different kitchen when I design my house, or just a cart that I can put all of my food bottles and utensils on so I do not have to endlessly crisscross the kitchen floor every time I eat. It is so annoying.) It’s not just my traumatized brain that lives in my skull, it’s another self also lives inside that gets mad at the traumatized brain for being traumatized. “You should not be traumatized! You should remember the fork!”

I suppose if you thought we were more interwoven with our bodies you would think that there is an undamaged part of my brain that observes the damaged part of my brain that cannot remember forks. However, the more I heal from trauma and the more I understand it the more I view my soul and spirit as being drivers with my body and brain as a vehicle they are piloting and moving around. A couple of days ago in Minneapolis, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents were conducting a lawful immigration operation when Renee Nicole Macklin Good allegedly weaponized her vehicle in an attempt to run over federal agents. An ICE agent fatally shot Good in what the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) described as self-defense. The investigation is ongoing, and body camera footage has yet to be released (at the time of this writing).

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey immediately blamed federal agents for the shooting, telling ICE, in an expletive, to “get out of Minneapolis” and accusing them of sowing chaos. This despite the fact that ICE agents were performing their constitutional duty to enforce immigration laws — the same laws that apply in every state, including Minnesota.

The Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association condemned the “irresponsible” and “reckless rhetoric from political leaders attacking law enforcement,” stating it “has real and dangerous consequences for officers on the street” and “fuels hostility.” DHS reports a 1,300% increase in assaults and an 8,000% increase in death threats against ICE agents — directly linked to the demonization by sanctuary politicians in deep-blue cities and states.

Still Alive

Hi, I’m an old-timer who hasn’t been around in a bit.

I still hold to all the same perspectives I did previously.

There used to be a member here whose username started with “K” but I can’t remember what the full profile name was. I’d love to get back in touch with him, if anyone recalls who it is I’m talking about. “Kitan”, “Kaleo” … can’t remember doggone it!

I hesitate to say more because I don’t remember what he had said publicly vs what he may have shared privately.

He was often in the same conversations as “Teke” and I…

‘Iran’s in big trouble,’ Trump warns as world watches for signs of collapse

Iran is facing its most widespread unrest in over a decade, as U.S. President Donald Trump said the country was “in big trouble” and accused its leaders of losing control of key cities. Trump also reiterated his warning that if protesters were killed, the U.S. would respond with force.

Trump’s warnings followed days of mass demonstrations sparked by inflation and economic collapse, with videos showing government buildings set on fire and crowds chanting anti-regime slogans, according to The Telegraph, which reported that the protests have extended to major cities including Tehran, Mashhad, Tabriz and Qom.

Iranian authorities have enforced a nationwide internet shutdown and reportedly killed at least 51 protesters, including nine children, as part of a crackdown on dissent, France 24reported.

Activists and NGOs say hundreds more have been injured and detained.

Please What is the word "Passion" actually referring to ?

To be more precise : Why is a same word used for something that commonly points to deep emotion at men's and on the other hand, that looks stemming from the deeply determined will (without emotion ?) at God's ?
1. Could the word "Passion" point to a divine reciprocating of the word : "worship", since a worship is a human practice, and as for God the Son, it is relevant to use another word ?
2. Could it point as well to Passover in second meaning, a kind of passage from slavery (Egypt, sin, the inside of maternal womb, etc..) to utter freedom (Desert, weaning of sin, weaning of maternal, cutting of the umbilical cord, etc..)
3. something else
