At the start of the 2024 Olympics an estimated 1.5 billion people watched and celebrated the dazzling modern version of the ancient Greek tradition. Some labeled it the “gayest Olympics ever” which even included a bisexual androgynous threesome. But the focal point was a blasphemous portrayal of Jesus and the disciples, a drag queen recreation of the ' “Last Supper”. At the center, instead of Christ, was a woman (?) wearing a crown .



If this wasn't enough of an outrage, there was one who is said to have “stolen the show”. It was a nude portrayal of the ancient Greek god Dionysus (son of god), the god of lawlessness, of every sexual defilement and self- indulgence, the ultimate colorful pervert.

He more so than any other ancient (demonic) “deity”, represents the spirit of antichrist. As was shown in the book The Last Days Pride Parade, he not coincidentally was also the god that the ancient archetype of the Antichrist forced upon the Jews to worship in 168 B.C.. This occurred at the time of the ancient “abomination of desolation”, a major foreshadowing of the future return of Christ.

1.5 billion people watched this mesmerizing celebration said to be about human freedom and progress. Christ and his sacrifice were mocked as the god of lawlessness was exalted. This is but another sign, a harbinger, of the coming Rainbow Antichrist.
But, the return of the Lord is near.

A drag queen-led parody of the Last Supper featured during Friday’s opening ceremonies of the 2024 Paris Olympics has sparked a wave of incensed reactions and denunciations.

In a statement released Saturday, the French Bishops’ Conference criticized the “scenes of derision and mockery of Christianity, which we deeply deplore.”

“We thank the members of other religious denominations who have expressed their solidarity. This morning, we think of all Christians on all continents who have been hurt by the outrage and provocation of certain scenes,” the French bishops said.

One of the best known prelates of the Catholic Church in the United States, Bishop Robert Barron of Minnesota, called on Catholics to “make their voices heard” in response to what he called “the gross mockery of the Last Supper.”

In a post on X, Barron said the blasphemous act was emblematic of a “deeply secularist postmodern society” that identifies Christianity as its enemy.

Meanwhile, in reparation for the blasphemy, Bishop Donald Hying of Madison, Wisconsin, immediately called on all Catholics to “fast and pray, renew our devotion to the Eucharist, the Sacred Heart and the Virgin Mary.”

I have a relative, who was a member of the United Methodist Church and perhaps still is, who is in tears and actually had to taking take anti-nausea medication due to a display that the UMC engaged in pertaining to the Last Supper at the Paris Olympics. I don’t have any details yet, but I gather that the UMC did something very unpleasant given how upset my relative is.

The relative in question is a tolerant and open-minded person, so for her to be so upset convinces me that whatever this was, it is the sort of thing that I greatly dislike.

Edit: the relative is unable to find the connection in the initial article involving her denomination, which had her so upset, but nonetheless I think this is an important issue which is so upsetting to Christians it has them making such an error.

What sins should a Christian confess to another Christian ? Or we should confess all they sins we aware we did to a Christian friend ?

Truth oftentimes, to many seems stranger then fiction. Such is the case when it comes, to the observance of God’s 7th Day Sabbath. Each Sunday millions of people attend church services for the purpose of worshiping the Lord. Most not realizing they can’t read one time in the Holy Bible to attend church on the first day of the week Sunday. This is second nature to most requiring no thought. They are simply following the tradition that has been set forth by man. Many believe that New Testament Christians worshiped on Sunday the 1st day of the week, and that the 7th day Sabbath is a Jewish institution, which started with Moses.

We understand that Peter said in 2Peter 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Peter is letting us know that prophecy, from Genesis to Malachi is more surer then the New Testament. Let see how Paul word it in Ephesians 2: 19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

So is Paul telling the Gentiles how important the old testament is, and how they have the same laws as Israel do. In the scriptures it's written in Isaiah 8: 20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Now any Christian in their right mind wouldn’t dare say that it’s okay to steal, kill or commit adultery or break any of the other seven commandments. But when it comes to the fourth commandment, people avoid it like a plague! They are either uninformed about which day is the Sabbath day of the God of the Bible or they are just following the tradition of religion that was passed down through the family or maybe they have let some preacher give them other excuses for ignoring God’s true day of worship.

The Sabbath Day of the Lord -God of the Bible. (Gen.2:2-5) (v.2) And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. (v.3) And God blessed the seventh day (every seventh day of the week is a blessed and holy day) and sanctified it (it is a day that is separated (sanctified) for a purpose) because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. (v.5) “and there was not a man to till the ground.” There was not a Jew, Catholic, Baptist, or Seventh Day Adventist; in fact, there was not a Christian when He constituted the Sabbath Day!

He is the one who rested on the Sabbath day and commanded that you do the same. If you really understood the scriptures you would realize that He was the one who became known as Jesus who gave you the Ten Commandments. So not only did He command you to cease from your work on that day He also commanded you to. (Lev.23:3) “Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an holy convocation;” He said on the Sabbath day that you should also have an holy convocation, which means holy gathering or simply put, go to church. Remember in Acts 7: 38 This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:

Hello.

I am new to Christianity. I love Jesus and God. I believe in Jesus and God.

I want to get baptized at some point. And perhaps become a Christian monk for a few months at some point in the coming years.

So far, I know just a little bit of Christianity. I will be studying from today on. I want to go deep into Christianity, especially for the purpose of Salvation.

Question: if I want to be just a Christian and not belong to any particular denomination (be it Orthodox Christian or Catholic Christian or Protestant), what would I be then called: a "Non-denominational Christian" or a "Pan-Christian" or an "Eclectic Christian"??? I want to be into most branches of Christianity and not just one. But the primary branch may be the Roman Catholic Church for me. I may get baptized there and be a Catholic monk. But I need things from the rest of Christianity. As well. I may be in Methodism as well. Can't tell you now. Don't know enough as of yet.

The Republican vice-presidential candidate has come under fire for his views on ‘parental voting,’ but the idea isn’t new and isn’t necessarily partisan.

Sen. J.D. Vance has been under fire this week after the GOP vice-presidential nominee’s three-year-old comments about the “childless left” and promoting family formation resurfaced in the media.

Among the most controversial? The claim that parents should be able to vote on behalf of their underage kids.

“Let’s give votes to all children in this country, but let’s give control over those votes to the parents of those children,” said Vance in a 2021 talk hosted by the Intercollegiate Studies Institute. “When you go to the polls in this country as a parent, you should have more power. You should have more of an ability to speak your voice in our democratic republic than people who don’t have kids.”

At the time, Vance described his proposal as an attempt to overcome a “structural democratic disadvantage” to pursuing pro-family policies in America.

But media reactions have framed the proposal as an attempt to disenfranchise childless people. Some have criticized Vance for saying that those without kids are relatively less committed to the country’s future.

“This is such a heinous notion that it’s hard to believe a politician would even think this to himself, let alone say it out loud,” said BuzzFeed’s Morgan Sloss, who describes herself as “intentionally childfree.”

Trump tells supporters they won’t have to vote in the future: ‘It’ll be fixed!’

I tend to just understand what people mean directly by the words they choose making sure to consider tone and body language and stuff.

But it seems through Trumps first term, my ability to comprehend English words (coming from him) took a hit. From everyone else in my life and my students, other teachers, and all other english speakers, they said I was OK. But Trump supporters kept insisting I was not understanding the English that Trump was speaking.


But what is it Trump means when he says this? I need some Trump translators.

I am referring to the nasty, vulgar story spread on X and other platforms that JD Vance had....relations with his couch. Specific page numbers from his book were given as a source citation, but when checked, nothing of the kind was there.

These kinds of lies, while titillating, should not be promulgated when actual truths should be sufficient to discourage voting for him.

I don’t know if anybody here has heard about the wildfire burning in Northern California but it’s become the largest arson fire in state history.

I have an app on my phone that alerts me to all the evacuation notices law enforcement are issuing. This thing is in four counties now, and one area I noticed they were issuing evac orders for was Manton, CA where I happen to know is the OCA Monastery of Saint John of San Francisco, and I did confirm that their location is under an evacuation order.

I thought you guys might want to know about that so we could all pray for everyone’s safety and protection and hope the monastery itself is also spared.

I’ve already seen God spare one Christian site from this fire and I believe if it’s his will he’d do the same for this one.

Pennsylvania presidential election results could again take days to count​

Republicans in the state Senate refused to change the law and allow mail-in votes to be counted ahead of Election Day, despite widespread calls for change.

When the polls closed on election night in 2020, President Donald Trump appeared to be winning Pennsylvania. But over the next several days, as officials counted mail-in ballots, his lead shrunk and then disappeared. By Saturday, Joe Biden was the clear winner of Pennsylvania — and, with it, the presidency.

The protracted counting process left a days-long vacuum that Trumpfilled with demands to stop counting the ballots while he was still ahead, declaring victory in Pennsylvania and building the false narrative that the mail-in votes were fraudulent. It became a core part of the false narrative that helped propel Trump’s “Stop the Steal” crusade and spurred election denialism among his allies and supporters that has continued to this day.

The delay was caused by a quirk of Pennsylvania’s election law, which forbids the opening of mail-in ballots until 7 a.m. on the day of the election. The narrow Election Day vote margins in 2020 coupled with the unprecedented number of people voting by mail because of the pandemic created a massive backlog and left election officials racing to finish the count.

[While the pandemic is not significantly at play, this means it is] likely to again take several days to announce this year’s winner, alarming state election officials who worry the delay will cause confusion, deteriorate trust in the process and make election workers targets for harassment.

What is God putting forth that it means to know Him..?

God puts forth that doing justice and righteousness is that what it means to know Him…. In other words, to the degree one does justice and righteousness to that degree can it be said that that one knows God…. For in the doing of justice and righteousness does God reveal Himself to the soul….

For all believers that have a right heart after God want to know Him…. This desire is fulfilled according to that souls willingness to do justice and righteousness…. For God waits in righteousness to bless that soul that is willing to walk in justice and righteousness….. For God has called all out of the sin and darkness of this world, it is the willingness to come out that is the dividing factor as to how much of Him does one know….

For in the willingness to do justice and righteousness does the soul receive all that God is, for it is as scripture says ‘His pleasure to give the kingdom’…. This kingdom that He gives is hidden in the doing of justice and righteousness…

For the soul that is willing to enter into the kingdom of justice and righteousness will be a witness unto themselves that they indeed have entered into His kingdom….

Oh to the experiencing of the entering into His kingdom may we all be blessed….

Looks like I won't be watching this Olympics either.

Why did I dream about school setting and I saw a Christian sister I know, she was standing in my way so we discussed a little which I don't remember but remember her last word ‘King’ she said. Briefly, after that, I board a school-bus going to somewhere which I think I know the direction. Then, as the school-Bus was moving we got to a two-way roads and the driver took the right lane which was the wrong way and this time he was speeding and I could feel he was too fast. Then, I started to complain about his speeding but he kept telling me to chill saying he was looking for more people to take. But he didn't see more passenger to take till we landed so fast at the exact same two-way and this time he took the left which was the right way and he was driving normally or fast I can't remember. But is like I got to my destination. Even though I told the driver I would report him to the school authority I don't think I did that?

During the visit of the Isreali Prime Minister pro-Palestinian protestors damaged monuments, burned government property and assaulted police.

Very few were arrested and we don't know what kind of manhunt is going on to find and arrest others involved.

This should be a massive manhunt for people who were involved in this. Anyone who takes down an American flag, burns it and raises another countries flag should be arrested and deported immediately if they are a foreigner. And if an American they should be arrested and charged with the appropriate crimes.

All other criminals involved in criminal activities should be found and charged. In exactly the same manner as those involved in Jan 6 were.

It took 6 days but Obama finally endorsed Harris. I don't think the Obamas liked Harris very much. They wanted someone else. But they finally did in an obviously staged awkward phone call.

I wonder what they are getting in return. Could it be they get their guy in the Vice-President role?
