  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What sets those of the Kingdom apart? The same thing Jesus said sets us apart from the many, a change in attitude from worldly to Kingdom. Two opposing natures. Look around. Which one is predominant even within Christianity, where the world takes lead and the Kingdom remains the narrow path...

No person is free from preconceived notions, considering the world has laid it's trip on mankind since birth. The Bible is a book built upon the contrast between the Kingdom and the world of man which we have made in our own image. Which viewpoint will have the upper hand in reading about the...

Jesus said that God is within us and we need to see beyond our limiting self in order to connect with Him within. Non-believers interpret it in different ways, seeing their oneness with the cosmos or as a quantum thing; not seeing God, but merely matter. Unfortunately there are also those...

Most people think church as being a building for gathering or as a large organization built around a concept, but the concept of church got twisted when man reintroduced a government into it. Man likes to form governments while the Father says His is the only government we need. The two don't...

His will is that we spend more time on following His will than our own, which brings up an often overlooked point. Jesus said His gospel, His only good news, was the Gospel of the Kingdom which He mentions at least 70 times in the four books and Paul preached the same gospel constantly as...

People have advanced a word of caution to those who supposedly go forth with their gifts as it may lead to an unhealthy situation of pride or self-righteousness. Especially unhealthy for those also whose gifts teach the counter-culture of the Kingdom and have to contend with Lord Lords who are...

Our ways are contrary to the ways of God and His governance/Kingdom. Luke 16:15, James 4:4 Jesus told us to repent of that attitude and return to the governance of God in heart and mind rather than continue on in the self indulgence of our ways, in doing so reversing the choice Eve once made...

That lamb became a shepherd. Man was never to learn, or more appropriately, to be led in large groups because right away someone would institutionalize it, organize it. Someone always seeks to rule over others. We have enough governments. The original purpose of gathering was to encourage one...

Jesus taught the Gospel of the Kingdom. How many of you immersed in a world that expects you to play by it's rules, can appreciate what that actually means? It wasn't just the teachings themselves, but what Jesus taught was seen as revolutionary to it's time and all times since including today...

Jesus said of the Father, "Thy will be done in earth as it is in Heaven". We are commanded to put His will before our own, thus loving all (including enemies) as self. Do you see His will at work in the world around you? Do you see it on your tv's in the programs, commercials, and especially...

Christianity is full of tares, especially in the clergy. Nothing is free from the influence of the Adversary. Discernment is a must. Do they demand allegiance to God or instead to their church or denomination and to their authourity? The two are not the same. Do they claim to speak for God or do...

We have gone through many periods of upheaval, not just wars but societal change. We could start lets say, when Jesus came and presented us with a revolutionary counter-culture which did not divide the world of man itself as man is prone to do, but instead set the entire world of man apart from...

Is it Christianity that seems to be under attack? Or is it merely political factions within Christianity that make it appear that way? This is what happens when the wrong side of a coin becomes the predominant voice. This is the worldly side of the coin of religion acting in worldly ways that...

Christians have a tendency to believe that the doings of God is all about us, that Jesus was all about what is in it for us. That may be true of the religion but not so of God. In fact Jesus said just the opposite, it is not about us but about the Father, what He wants and about the good news...

There was a choice once given to Adam and Eve, but it was an uninformed choice. It gave the consequences of either choice, but not the reasoning behind each one. Once those first humans decided to take it upon themselves to follow their own will, the millennia of discovering whose will was...

Jesus set an example of what was expected of us according to His Gospel of the Kingdom. He did nothing of His own accord but only the will of the Father just as we would be expected to do when God establishes His governance over us, once again living among us (thy Kingdom come, thy will be done...

Consider that Jesus said He would send the Holy Spirit to those ( his original Apostles and disciples) who were teaching His Gospel of the Kingdom, in order to guide/keep them on the path of the Kingdom. The HS was a shepherd for those who knew and accepted the ways of the Kingdom/governance of...

People have said that the Bible is about salvation from punishment as a result of sin, about we His church of grafted heirs (and even brides) which make us a special new creation. Sure... ok, that is a watered down version, and that has described our self perceived appearance, but not what is...
