  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It was getting dimmer as the group of fugitives went on yet further beyond that creek, and obstacles like small shrubs separated widely from each other, and some of the larger of small rocks, which they all watched for, became much less frequent as they went on, before it was much darker. There...

I grew up in a Christian home but lost my faith. Recently I’ve come back to Jesus because I realized just how miserable and empty life was without him. But I’m realizing that there’s part of me that still loves sin. I don’t hate it anymore like I did as a child. It really saddens me, I feel like...
Ephesians 5:7-14 ESV “Therefore do not become partners with them; for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. Take no...
Proverbs 29:25 ESV “The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.” This is a short passage of Scripture and yet it is filled with biblical truth. And the best way to understand what this is teaching is if we look at what these individual words mean: Words Defined Fear...
