I thought the boys were supposed to sell the grills??? Did they sell, too, or no?
Yes, they had their 4 minutes and did very well! The whole team was there. That's why I'm wondering why the rest of the girls weren't there - only Pamela, the one that got fired.

SuzQ, can you post links to some of the polls you mentioned? That would be interesting.

I found the article I saw in my hotmail one day. The article supports Pamela & the other deserving players who've been kicked off. This one didn't have a specific poll about her, but rather that 75% think Trump keeps firing good players. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6203251/

(I think it was an E-online poll that I saw about her specifically, where almost 80% said she should NOT have been fired).

The guys had so many things going against them tonight, it was funny. They played into most of the obstacles. It was good to see the women do well, especially with Maria at the helm. She seems pretty sharp. I like how she sent that one person off, (I forget her name) so they could get something done.

[bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse],

Last night's show was great with one HUGE exception.

The Donald's voice overs in the board room scene were terrible. What were the producers thinking? Donald is stiff at best when reading and the sound quality was horrific. :sigh:

I've been pretty impressed with Maria from the beginning. Yes, it was wise of her to send Elizabeth off on a mission. And she succeeded in making her feel needed in the job she gave her. I got the impression that Elizabeth was pleased with her assignment and didn't feel like she was simply be moved out of their way.

Suffolk Sean, I didn't notice the sound. I'll check that out when I watch it again. I'm glad I recorded it because my husband had the remote and all 4 of us were watching it together and he kept switching betweeen the show, a movie and a football game. :p

Hmmm...so you noticed too, huh? I probably didn't notice because of all the flipping from channel to channel that was going on. In fact. I missed the usual taxi scene. Did John act pretty decent about it?

That's the part I did miss. I went to go do something so that I wouldn't miss the start of ER! :D

I think it was a hard decision. It's hard to fire someone based on that one project. My one critical comment about John was that he needed to step in and do some conflict mangement between Raj and Kelly when they were arguing. Kelly was not the manager and Raj was being a pain at that time. He needed to resolve the issue instead of letting them argue about it.

I am still undecided how I feel about the pricing issue. He did delegate the task to Wes and Kevin. But in the end he is the manager. I did notice they (Wes and Kevin) bumped up some of the prices the designer gave them. My personal opinion is that it wasn't necessarily the pricing that caused the designs not to sell, it was the designs themselves. Of course this is coming from someone who isn't on the cutting edge of the fashion industry! ;)

I think John would have helped himself out a bit if he had brought Raj, Wes & Kevin to the board room. The rest of the team mates made some pretty scathing comments about Raj so it would have been in John's best interest to bring him to the boardroom.

Raj and Kelly seemed to have a deal with John on how to get rid of Andy. Bringing Andy to the boardroom for his overall performance was a big mistake. Donald is smarter than that and could see that they were ganging up him.

The voice over did stink. I just heard one occasion of it, but it was there.

Good point! I think even Trump was leading John in this decision with some of the comments he made about Raj.

Agreed about Maria- she looked and felt totally in her element last night. Nice to see them get it together finally! You know, I hadn't really noticed how Elizabeth gets in everyone's way until last night and it was a great move from Maria to send her off.

I was really impressed with Kelly's take charge attitude last night and thought he did a great job of moving things along despite the men's lack of focus. (I think the presence of the models shook them)
I thought that Raj would be smarter and more interesting than he has appeared to be so far. Right now he appears to be a walking male appendage if you know what I mean. The most interesting thing about him so far is his tie. Which explains why he wears it!

I'm liking Andy more and more and I hope he gets a chance to lead and shut all the arrogant men on his team up.

This was gifted wrapped for the women. The guys were set up.
Regardless, they couldn't handle it. Although, like I said, Kelly did a pretty good job.
You don't have to be a woman to know what good fashion is either. As a matter of fact, one of the women said to the men that they had gone "haut couture" a.k.a. high fashion, whereas the women stuck to more "normal" things that "normal" women would buy. The men chose looks over practicality. And paid for it. And the buyers didn't.
