I agree...didn't understand the decision at all tonight. The women performed better tonight than they did all season...yet Pamela gets fired because she didn't evaluate the team well enough? This was the first time she has worked with the women, what was she supposed to evaluate them on? I would think the best way to quickly evaulate people is to ask them what their strengths are and assign them a task based on that which is exactly what she did. I wish Donald would've explained his decision a bit better tonight...I just didn't understand it.

1 - She admitted that she let the team tell her what they wanted to do. Bad idea to admit it in the boardroom even if it's the truth. That being said.......
2 - Once questioned about who she assigned where, she should have said "I just barely met these people".....and nothing more. M

Can I say how Im not enjoying or "getting" this season at all. I think some of the decisions Donald Trump is making are poor and more for the "show" than for him actually trying to find someone to run a company, and also what in tarnation is wrong with those women? They are the cattiest, backstabbingest (i dont care that it isnt a word) people. Ugggh. Im always pulling for the guys.

I am going to be very matter of factly like the Donald.

The reason the team lost was because of the price they decided on.
Who decided on the price?
Who took that decision from someone who maybe would have done some research to determine what it should be?

That WAS the most important part of the challenge other than selecting the product.

I agree that the price was a mistake, but Pamela brought the team together to work cohesively....for that she won my respect. The criteria for judging the end result wasn't fair because the men's team's product cost more than the women's....it should've been based on how many units were sold.

I was genuinely surprised that Pamela got fired. I would've kept her.

Well, of the three in the boardroom, I guess I would have fired Pamela. I don't much like Maria, but I thought she did all right on this task -- not fire-worthy. Stacy has a strong attitude which can get in the way, but she was right about acting like a lawyer when she was asked to. Didn't the men have to regroup their toothpaste task at the last minute when legal shut down their million-dollar giveaway? I think Pamela should have remembered that and realized that legal has some power and Stacy was just trying to help

As for Pamela, I do think she was kind of condescending, but she was faced with a terrible team -- people who couldn't work together at all. I'm not excusing her attitude, but I can see her reasons for coming on strong. A bit more sensitivity would have helped, but she did need to come in as a strong leader and shape them up. As for the pricing, though... she really overpriced the product. She should have listened to the team on that one. They would have won the task.

Last night's was a hard decision. I didn't care much for Pamela, but I just got the feeling she was set up to fail. She was put with a team that hates each other and has failed the last 4 times because they can't work together. She was given just one chance to make them win, and they came within $10 of winning, which is pretty dang close. However, I do agree it was priced too high and that made the difference. But if you will notice, the same people are being consistently taken into the board room for pretty much the same reasons. Little Stacy annoys me to no end. I couldn't work with her for very long. But, the women are just not doing well. They are an embarrassment to business women right now. Each week I keep hoping this is the week they will pull together and act like a team, but so far, it isn't happening.

I meant to add I thought it was funny that Raj hit on Anna However-you-spell-her-last-name, the tennis player. He said that he had to take his chance while he had it. Of course, she also did try to take him out with a tennis ball later! :D

And on the pricing issue-I guess it's one of those things it's hard to tell. If they would have priced it lower, they wouldn't have made as much and still might have lost. However, if it was lower, would they have sold more? Because they sold actually almost 4 times as many units as they guys. I guess it is one of those hindsight questions.

McEnroe (SP?) seemed a little upset he was being ignored. :D

Pamela???? I was flabbergasted last night. Bradford, Stacy, and now Pamela - what the heck? Trump has lost his mind.

Ok, first of all, Bradford & Stacy didn't contribute to the failings of ANY task, but they were fired, regardless, when others should've been. Pamela was the task leader of a barely-failed task, but was able to monumentally pull the girls together. Trump did not always fire the ones who did poorly on a task, because they had shown overall strong characteristics last season & he gave them another chance all the time (hello?? SAM got several chances??? Omarosa???).

I do admit she's sometimes "overly confident", but I liked her calmness & level-headness. (is that a word?) She's no-nonsense & said it best herself in the cab that she could've been more "underhanded" like the others, but that's not her style.

I think little Stacy should've been fired.Trump was quick to say many people didn't like the other Stacy & got rid of her, yet this is the SECOND time someone DIFFERENT has brought her into the boardroom saying she's difficult, angry, defiant, & disrespectful (I LOVED how Pamela put her in her place on the bus telling her to NEVER interrupt one of the girls again when they are discussing a task, etc). Her comment comparing Pamela's "ethics" to that of "having another ENRON on your hands, Mr. Trump" was infuriating!! I can't believe none of the Trump-Three responded to that accusation. She's unprofessional, & gives the most immature expressions in the boardroom (I can't imagine watching her in a courtroom-yuck!). No offense to West Coast folks out there, but Ivana & Maria's accents drive me crazy. Ivana is the whiniest, Maria is too high-strung, the one who cried last week made me shake my head, and the snotty bridal shop owner contributes very little except for an occassional back-stabbing.

The only girl left who I have some shred of respect for is blonde Jennifer - the other lawyer (especially after she did at least try & stick up for the other Stacy being fired afterwards). She's also calm & did a great job at the task last night at SELLING! Good candidate, since she obviously has shown several different positive qualities.

All I can say is, it's a good thing Raj wore decent underwear that day... ;)
Ha-ha! I thought the same thing. I guess mom's advice about wearing clean underwear came in handy that day! ;)

I agree 100%! Last season several of the candidates were given second chances after making mistakes...and others were fired instead because of personality triats that Trump just didn't feel were representative of a good leader. It's like the thought process behind his decision making has done a complete 180 this season.

It just seems silly to me to say the only thing that lead to the failure of the task was that the product was overpriced. Then when Pamila tries to explain her reasoning for pricing the item so high, she get's shushed in the boardroom by Carolyn.

I also loved how all the girls were complaining that Pamela was delegating tasks to the others so that she wouldn't have to take any responsibility when different aspects fail. Hello...a leader delegates tasks! That's what they are supposed to do! Then when someone fails, part of the blame does in fact fall on the leader, because they are supposed to be overseeing all the aspects of the project.
