That is of course your own view since you know very little of what our Bible teaches. If you want to say our religion is false, fine, then just don't believe in it but do not attack our Bible just because you yourself feels it does not fit in with your own views. Peace.
Gene 9:2 and your fear and your dread is on every beast of the earth, and on every fowl of the heavens, on all that creepeth on the ground, and on all fishes of the sea--into your hand they have been given. 3 Every creeping thing that is alive, to you it is for food; as the green herb I have given to you the whole; 4 only flesh in its life--its blood--ye do not eat.
But there is a reason to attack it, because it gives people justification for the worst systematic abuse that exists in the world. Factory farming is pure evil.
Anyway regards genesis, I have the book here and the text isn't the same, maybe the christian version has changed that bit.
This says, and I'm typing directly from the book,
19. And it became evening and it became morning: a fourth day,
20. And God spake: Let the waters swarm with moving living beings and let birds fly above the earth before the vault of the heaven.
21. So it is God Who created the great family of fish and all the life of every living creature that moveth, with which the water swarmed, for their species, and every winged bird for its species; and God saw that it was good.
22. And God blessed them thus. Be fruitful and multiply and fill the water in the seas, but birds are to multiply on the earth.
23. And it became evening and it became morning: a fifth day.
24. And God spake: Let the earth bring forth the living creatures for its species, beats of pasture and creeping things and animals of the land for its species and thus it became.
25. So it is God Who created the animals of the land for its species, and the beasts of pasture for its species and every creeping thing of the earth for its species, and God saw that it was good.
26. And God spake: Let Us make Adam (a representative) in a form worthy of Us as is commensurate with being in Our likeness and they shall have dominion over the fish of the sea and the birds of the heaven and over animals and over the whole earth and over all creeping things that creep on the earth.
27. So God created Man in a form worthy of Himself, in a form worthy of God did He create him; male and female created He them.
28. And God blessed them, and God spake unto them: Be fruitful and multiply yourself and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the bird of the air and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
29. And God spake: see I have given you all herbage that strews seed which is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree on which there is fruit which strews its seed; to you it shall be food.
30. and to every animal of the earth and to all the birds of the heaven and to every living thing that moveth upon the earth, in which there is living spirit, all the green or plants for food. And thus it became.
31. And God saw the whole of what He had made, and lo! it was very good. And it became evening and it became morning: the sixth day.
The reason I typed that is to show you that, if you believe in the religion, genesis says nothing about our being able to use animals as food.
