Then how are you so sure your 'direct contact' was from YHWH, verses a plethora of other plausible 'causes'?

Where did you get "YHWH"?

*That's an answer contained in a question btw...

You're there one here at the moment who seems to be working hard to maintain a claim that the passages don't all fit or all apply (but instead then must contradict), and to assert I'm rationalizing (your word). But actually I'm reading fully.... :)

Who's the one rationalizing?

You further demonstrate to be quite the sidewinder. I already demonstrated contradiction. Reading it a 17th time, won't change the contradiction. You refuse to address or acknowledge accordingly. You just instead merely play the 'nuh-uh, that's what you are' game. Now here lies my fourth attempt in asking...

Does God consider you a 'sheep' or a 'goat'? Please explain why?

Newsflash/spoiler alert. A goat can also be a believer, repenter, worshipper... So if God provided moral pronouncements, but they are negated by faith in Christ as my savior, then please explain Matthew 25:31-46 :)

How do you not see that I already answered that.

The Bible is direct contact and that's where you got "YHWH" and your God concept.

I guess you are asking how do I know that the Bible is inspired, right?

I know, because it lines up with the entirety of my being, intellect, will, emotions, imagination, etc...

What makes you believe the Bible is not inspired?

?????????????????????????

I trust we agree that humans wrote the Bible? Above and beyond this, is it [even possible] the Bible was [not] given by some external source? But instead, written by humans, and humans alone; just like every other book for which you reject as god's word?

Isn't it even possible for someone to write a book which looks to align with your likes and dislikes?

You can get 'inward witness' of God that you a his son like the bible says, nobody can rob you things like that. After that, just experiences with the Spirit are as convincing as anything else convincing.
You can even get proof of the other 'side', when the devil sees you you discovered things of the spirit, he just directly attacks you, he doesn't need to hide then.
You can see the evidence this world can be under something obscure just by watching what humans do.

BUt the bible says this is all crazy stuff for the ones who didn't had the new birth. So. i don't know why i tell them to unbelievers.

Even some christians don't believe God can do stuff to us, but what father just let you live all your life without giving you a little reassurance from time to time.

You do know that He became human...right?

Sure, this is one claim. Another claim is that Jesus was a human, and a human alone. Another claim is that He never existed to begin with...

I myself will assert that He existed, for now anyways. But we still have many problems. Above and beyond his verified existence, I need reason and/or evidence to demonstrate He was anything more than a human...

I ask you again...

I trust we agree that humans wrote the Bible? Above and beyond this, is it [even possible] the Bible was [not] given by some external source? But instead, written by humans, and humans alone; just like every other book for which you reject as god's word? It's a (yes or no) question really.

Matthew 25, v31-46 points out the truth in the passage quoted to you above from Ephesians chapter 2, verse 10, as you could read above. (Post #30) And need to.

I wonder if you might better notice that, hear it, if you take a more listening attitude.

Listening means to not think you already know all it says, but instead are trying to learn. It's humble. That's key.

I have to re-address the OP and EWS. Is it even possible your 'inward witness' and 'experiences with the Spirit' could be something other than God?

EWS, in a nutshell, exposes that any/all felt/perceived 'external causes' can have an infinite number of plausible answers. So why are you so hasty to conclude that all such 'feelings' are from your believed upon God, verses the many other plausible options?

Are you human?

How do I know?

I don't have any sufficient reason to believe any book was inspired by some external agent. Can you give me reason(s) to believe this?

Really, not even Darwin's "Origin of Species"?!

So, you admit that there is no external inspiration for it then...no objectivity?

Listening means to not think you already know all it says, but instead are trying to learn. It's humble. That's key.

You again avoid my question. This is not 'humble'. It's just sad. You are directly avoiding my observations, likely on purpose....

In post #30, you state, and I quote:

"We have to put God first, and if we really do, then we will love our brothers and sisters and care about them."

How does this align with Matthew 25:31-46? If you see a bum in the rain, do you offer them your house as shelter? Do you love them as yourself? More often than not, I sincerely doubt it. If it was your relative or a friend, I bet you'd stop and help :) As the Verses dictate, avoidance in these actions displeases God, as you are not only violating your fellow 'man', but it looks to violate God directly.

You then go on to state in post #30:

"We aren't saved because we do good works. But if we are saved and continue to follow Him, we begin more and more to do good works."

This is in direct conflict with Matthew 25:31-46. I can demonstrate...

Does God consider you a sheep or a goat? And please continue to remember, a believer could very well be deemed a goat.

The fact I can ask this repeated question IS the contradiction.
