I want to know about people's Bibles. Sometimes when I'm searching for things to write for I come up with these questions to ask people, so here is one. What version it is, how much did it cost, is it a normal Bible or something special, like a study Bible, thin-line, a big boomer or what, does it have a special cover, is it falling apart, how long have you had it, and anything else that defines the Bible you couldn't part from. I know some of us have more than one, but please for lengths sake, just describe your favorite one.
I used to carry around my American Standard Version 1901 version, but now the print is too small. Last year I got a Giant Print New American Standard Version Bible for my husband - I think it was around $35. I may start using that if he will share or else get one for myself. We have lots of different Bible versions and I use different ones at different times for different purposes. I like the Amplified New Testament and refer to that a lot too.
