I wasn't always a Catholic, you know. I'm a convert. I used to be evangelical. I grew up fundamentalist. I became a Catholic when I realized that the Church had authority, i.e. it was the Church that gave us the Bible.
The three Persons do not all have the same functions, ma'am. The Father has functions, the Son has functions, the Holy Spirit has functions.
Born again believers still have differing beliefs and traditions and histories which can be systematically analyzed. You really are quite the anti-intellectual aren't you.You are wrong. There are no branches of Christianity. There are only born-again believers... and then everyone else. You have bought into the world system. It is not of God.

You're right, Christ only instituted one Church-the Catholic Church. Mankind divided it, and if you are not Catholic, you are one of the separated. You are wrong. All those you name point us to Jesus. None of them diminishes who Jesus is, or how He speaks to us.I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe if you took everyone else out of the equation (the pope, Mary, saints, whomever you look to) and only looked directly to Him and Him alone, things would be more clear.

Got a question for you...if I wanted to join your denomination, would I need to be baptized, if I've already been baptized in the Catholic Church?
We aren't just talking about all religions are any religion, but the right religion. We are talking about the Church that Christ established having authority. You see we don't just have a relationship with Christ, but with the Church that he established, with the communion of saints, and with its institution (yes it is a visible church as well).I'm sorry that you think that religion has some kind of authority, but obviously you made that decision based on your own "realization" which is totally in error. People are either born-again or they aren't. It really is that simple. Jesus directly guides His people. We have a direct relationship with Him. It makes me sad that people miss out on this and join religions instead, but you have made your choice.
I'm not a ma'am, ma'am. But they have distinct functions. Jesus never spoke for the Father without His authority. The Father, though, created His Son's mother perfect, immaculate, and that's why we honor Mary. They are all the same God, ma'am.
Avoiding answering the question, though. Would I need to be baptized if I wanted to join your church?Right, if I'm not Catholic I'm separated. What a joke. I am not separated from my God. I'm quite happy to be separated from religion. Jesus abolished the need for religion.
I do not belong to a denomination.
So, in your judgement, are Catholics born again?I'm sorry that you think that religion has some kind of authority, but obviously you made that decision based on your own "realization" which is totally in error. LOL Let's get down to the nitty gritty!
Wow, you are really something. If Mary is a distraction, then why does Luke make pains to go into her story?Actually all those names point to those names. They are all distractions from the REAL THING.

Catholic teaching is that one becomes born again at their baptism, baptism of desire (if you die wishing for baptism), or baptism of blood (martyrdom).Being born again isn't even something the Catholic church recognized until very recently and it doesn't appear they have any official teaching on it and have no idea now someone becomes so.

That is actually saying quite a bit. So is saying that she is full of grace. So is saying that she is blessed among women. So is saying that all nations will call her blessed. Gee, for the few scriptures about her, it seems they pack in quite a punch.Mary is mentioned very little in Scripture, actually. She doesn't have a "story" but that she was the womb that God put Himself in to enter this earth.
