Huh? I was just told by another Catholic that you believe baptism makes someone "born again". No?
Yes. So baptism saves you.
Um, you should worship God always at all times for all things. Do you mean attendance at a church service? No, that is not "required". That's silly. There are no rules such as that.
Whatever happened to the first Commandment???
Jesus isn't a baby. He is the risen Lord.
So your place of worship is closed on the day we celebrate as his birthday. As I was saying.
How odd. Why would your baptism need to be recorded?
Because it is a permanent mark on your soul, and is the gateway for your Christian growth.
I don't believe things that people make up that are not in Scripture.
And yet it is Scriptural that Paul equates baptism with Jewish circumcision, which happened 8 days after a child was born.
I'm not a protestant nor would I attend a protestant church. Christian (non-denom) don't ask if you are baptized. That is between you and God.
Ah, don't ask, don't tell. But the Bible says that Baptism is required for your salvation. So your church doesn't worry about those who may or may not be saved?

How could we possibly know if they baptized infants? Obviously NOT because an infant can't convert, now can they? I think not.
Parents make all sorts of decisions for children, now and back then. It follows that if a household converted, the children, and slaves also converted.
You missed the question about where Peter might have baptized all those, at least 10,000 people...

Jesus did not die because you commit sins!!! He died because YOU ARE A SINNER!!! How silly to imagine that His sacrifice covers this sin or that. Not so! Yes, it does but it is far deeper than that. He died because our very state of being is the nature of sin. It is our nature, not each individual sin.
It is our nature, but an infant knows nothing of sin. I cannot commit a sin if I don't know it's a sin, and an infant can't know that something is sinful. When a child grows into knowledge, then they become responsible for their sins. Jesus died for every sin, he knows every sin that will ever be committed, and has already forgiven them.

I just can't go on with this nonsense, sorry. I completely reject the teachings of Catholicism. Utterly and completely. I was raised Catholic and when I was and adult, I repented of practicing that religion and was forgiven.

Nations don't called her blessed, generations do. Obviously she was blessed. She was chosen to carry the Christ. He used her womb to put Himself into. That must have been incredible. Surely she was blessed, as were many people who are talked about in Scripture, as am I, as are all believers, actually.
Nobody in history was more blessed than Mary.

Well, it's not really perfect. People misinterpret what the Pope wrote. The key word is "Church". Christ instituted one Church.

Complete rejection of the teachings of Catholicism is complete rejection of the teachings of Christ.

And you can't answer the questions I've asked. So it becomes just 'argument'.

I disagree, but our opinions hardly matter on this subject.
Mine is not an opinion. If I had an opinion, you'd be right. It doesn't matter.

I repented of practicing Catholicism and was forgiven. How dare you attempt to drag me back into that sorcery. Get the behind me.
Again, not answering the question. I didn't ask you anything about Catholicism. I asked you where the Bible came from?

Matthew 16

Funny you should quote Matthew 16:23, and miss the entire previous 6 or 7 verses, where Jesus makes Peter the head of His church...
And still no answer to the question...

well it aint peter..nor is it scriptural .he has teachers apostles prophets evangelists and pastors . no single man .. no other mediator between man and God but the lord Jesus he is the one the only the all in all the only way to the father - absolute
No one disputes that Jesus has a unique position as mediator. That doesn't mean that we don't i.e. intercede for one another in prayer or that there isn't a vicar of the church.

Jesus doesn't have a unique position. He IS mediator. There is no vicar. The representatives of Christ on this earth are His people. His body.

There is no pagan religion around today that was around 2000 years ago except Hinduism, and Hinduism has changed considerably from its classic period to its modern period.

From a Pagan website:

''So what exactly is Paganism, you ask?
It's simply an umbrella term covering many different religions and belief systems.
Paganism is a spiritual way of life and its origins are rooted in the ancient nature religions of the world.''
''Paganism, sometimes referred to as The Old Religion, pre-dates Christianity.''

From another pagan website:

''Paganism is the ancestral religion of the whole of humanity.''
''The Pagan outlook can be seen as threefold. Its adherents venerate Nature and worship many deities, both goddesses and gods.''

The fact that pagan religions within paganism have changed, vanished or is not practiced exactly like it was before is beside the point, the fact is that paganism has always worshiped nature, gods and goddesses.
