Why then does Paul say to the Jew first if Jesus said he came ONLY for the LOST SHEEP of the House of Israel? Maybe because both houses were without? Without understanding of Father's Way?
See, I think your eyes might start opening up here. You have to admit the Jewish (Judah) leaders were corrupted. They didn't even follow the Torah, as it was intended. The religousized it too much, and made it to be a power or glorified self religion, instead of how it was intended. Jesus brandished over and over the leaders of the Jewish sect, because of this. They were "white-washed tombs" among other things. They kept the "keys to the kingdom", and they knew what they were, and didn't even bother to go in themselves. They held the scrolls, including the Law, and it's supreme interpretations of this Law. Yet they broke it over and over. Jesus didn't come to call these people, as he didn't need to. He said Moses would accuse them for what they did or didn't do, as they put ALL there hope in HIM.
The Lost Sheep of the House of Israel, was not corrupted by Law, as they didn't have any. It was lost for generations. Was the Torah originally meant for us as well? Who knows! Who cares!! Jesus came and instituted a NEW COVENANT, and did this by HIS BLOOD, not the one the people in the wilderness had, but a BETTER one. These Laws are written on my heart. I don't need a Torah, and by the way. Don't you think for a split second that God Almighty knew that one day the internet would be here and we could have Torah ALL WE WANT??? So why the heart Marc? You cannot even answer that question, and probably you don't care. Tkjcc the answer is obvious. In Deuteronomy He said He would circumcise our hearts. Why the heart? We are faulty not His Torah. If you heart is circumcised you will obey Him. But we are not there yet. Sanctification is a process and nowhere in scripture does it imply perfection. Why does God say He would circumcise our hearts? 1 Now it shall come to pass, when all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you, and you call them to mind among all the nations where the LORD your God drives you, 2 and you return to the LORD your God and obey His voice, according to all that I command you today, you and your children, with all your heart and with all your soul, 3 that the LORD your God will bring you back from captivity, and have compassion on you, and gather you again from all the nations where the LORD your God has scattered you. 4 If any of you are driven out to the farthest parts under heaven, from there the LORD your God will gather you, and from there He will bring you. 5 Then the LORD your God will bring you to the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it. He will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers. 6 And the LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live. Oh yea,,
good answer.
I am not saying that I do intentionally break any of the 10 Commandments, as the are Holy and Just Commandments. But I don't LIMIT GOD the FATHER either. If I don't have a problem Honoring my father and mother, that one isn't needed. If I don't have a problem coveting peoples goods, don't NEED that one either. Why just 10 or why just 613? Who knows, maybe that was all they could handle back then. Shoot, I know mine are many. But they are mine, Marc. These must be overcome in the flesh, if I want to inherit the rewards that await me. As should ALL of you. But to sit there and claim righteousness based upon some Law in stone, or in a book, means you have failed to understand the SPIRITUAL side of God, and are limiting Him to just the carnality of life.
For example:
If you write a Law in a book, that says you can rape a woman, and marry her later if she wants to marry you. (Which is in Torah)
Does this make rape, ok?
Does it break any OTHER Laws?
Well, then you would have to DEFINE rape.
Is it voluntary intercourse but not yet the right age(Statutory)
or involuntary but as slaves or captured women,
or married(Holy) but not consented(Willingly).
Once you get into the legalities of what the original Law was as intended, by the time you get to the actual intent by the person who wrote it, it has become corrupted. We are dealing with carnality here.
