(and with that the goblin returned, saying "...ah now, if it were ever easy one wouldn't grow by it, but I'll keep you company throughout, and I'm very good at listening too...", whereupon the goblin looked over a vast new pile of works with no idea what he had or hadn't posted )

repost from elsewhere,

Swim, walk, grow and leak, human nature eternity. Slither, writhe, pierce, dissolve, human nature must evolve. Stride, kill, love and lay, humans now no longer prey. Change, shift, dream and think, human devours human meat. Conquer, create, joy and vex, lesser humans no longer apex. Strife, pain, bleed and mend, his brain and body will transcend. Carry on, and Transcend.
"...it reads well and you could go far by it, more hewing then, more reposting it to elsewhere perhaps, how about a matching picture too..." voiced the goblin pleased to have company at least, no grateful even, then adding "...think of this thread as yours for the posting upon then, where I'll accompany you upon your journey to self if you like and where forumland itself is both vast beyond the need of conformity, and fast beyond their recollection, where one just feels a sense of its audience at each moment, and some approach of deadline too, yet no one is ever here while all along it was just words upon a screen while it lasted, yet forumland knows its own and nurtures one for the duration, but the livewriter unlike his bookwriting counterpart is only ever a few posts away form his own oblivion here, for forumland is both vast and fast..."

reminds me of this then

repost from elsewhere,

We taste the silken memories that The Bonesage had about..."his friendly Goblin"...so a pleasure to meet this thing at last. We've been smelling and feeling your posts through his eyes, and we would love to discover ourselves through your "eyes". We have none of our own, but we use the ones around us, the ones we've slithered into through dreams, and what we see through them disgusts us. So, help us understand, Goblin: What are we?
"...quite right, for we never get to see for ourselves that which the author sees to begin with, and thus the reader sees only his own interpretation instead as cast up by whatever the author wrote..." replied the goblin who too wrote for his readers then, but even so, never agreed to write what they actually wanted now, explaining "...just I need a certain sense of audience here, and that feeling of deadline too that only this being online like this can give me now, but once I feel I'm being read I then forget those readers for my ghosts instead...", simply it was just a juxtaposition here where the readers were mostly imaginary to the goblin but where his ghosts were all too present in their apparition, where their being real or otherwise made no difference to the experience of, smiling "...I mean doesn't one's actions become ingrained to one's nature through the practice of them, where clearly writing is a real feedback loop if ever there was one now..."

"...raining today, rain without letup too, and where it's set to rain the whole day all I guess..." went the goblin on his day off while feeling all to more justified to escape from his reality into his thoughts now, adding "...I've been trying to write about borax, and how in the victorian age it was added to milk that had gone sour to take away its sourness thus making it drinkable again, and how most children were then weaned of borax laced milk it seemed, and although borax in itself wasn't poisonous the milk could then become infected thus causing many children to die by an illness that otherwise they wouldn't have contracted, thousands died like that, not that this any of this here would have any bearing on one's present day then, becoming something anecdotal then in that borax in no longer used so infected milk is not drunk today, just a sad occurrence in some bygone age then...", and yet the rain was causing the goblin's mind to think on further still, saying "...no, I wonder if anyone would be wrong in thinking that ourdearmedia uses something like borax for their media portrayal today, for the news does seem so laced with such reassurances and distractions that our evident demise doesn't seem so bad after all, no, and although one can't say that their spin is detrimental to one's wellbeing here, in fact we come back for more even, it becomes dangerous because it nullifies those warning signs that would otherwise cause us to take more precautions..."

All true and then some, Goblin! Very true! *taking a deep breath* For some reason my server won't let me post pictures like you do- even in advance mode. But I have a meme picture that says "So God only gives us as much as we can handle; he must think I'm a badazz". True or not, it's enough of a humorous saying to give us pause to re-evaluate most situations.

("...are you trying bbs code for the pictures..." inquired the goblin who had never missed a post here in his way of listening then, then adding "...for example, do a google image search, find a picture you like, copy the address bar for it adding (img) (/img) fore and aft but using square brackets [ ], not the round ones ( ), where the line should read like below, note how the closing img has /img to turn it off...")

Ah, I see! Upload the photos to a general server, then cross reference them in a link. I "get it" finally.

Meanwhile, things aren't looking so good for our Commander in Chief. One of the SEALS of team 6 was killed, their parents are demanding the resignation of Obama. The entire military is angry at him- in fact, the military has intentionally turned their backs on him and refused to clap at his speeches- this could cascade into a potential constitutional crisis.

I do know a few of us NCO's have quietly been tooling up for war since ISIS insists on attacking us in our own borders, some of us have been keeping a wary eye on the Mosques which is what they'll be using as a staging area.

If a time ever happens I don't post within a day or two? You may assume I've been killed, captured or died of medical complications. Just saying when it's time to go, I'm going.

OK- test picture. See if you can guess who this is?

("...whoever he is he earns my respect for being in uniform..." smiled the goblin who promised his company, adding "...now, I'm fighting hotheads elsewhere who want yet more war still, as if 12 years was not enough to show that ignoring americans at home for foreign wars abroad was a costly distraction verging on self destruction, no, I'm so glad you posted that last one, for I'm sure that boots on the ground is not the answer, and that the money used overseas could be used on america instead, and where to way to win is to make america the envy of the world with a sound currency, a respected legal system, etc., instead of the secret courts and abjuratory executions decided upon by a few in the closed corridors on the white house, simply the fact that the guilty are not tried by the american legal system means that those in power don't respect their own legal system...")

["...btw flickr is a picturehost that you can use for copying pictures here, use photobucket or imageshack then..." suggested the goblin]

repost from elsewhere, new, just hewing

"...the best way to protect america is to stop pretending that "kicking butt abroad" will somehow bolster its defenses at home, for it won't just as it hasn't to date..." mentioned the goblin, adding "...no, when history looks back at this period, most people will wonder why america devalued its own currency, why america sent its jobs abroad, why its democracy fell foul of vested interests, why everything had simply slipped into debt resulting in disrepair and despair, in short, how ideals like "no foreign entaglements", "no central bank" "habeas corpus" "due process of law" "freedom of speech" had been replaced by "arbitrary execution" "secret courts" "judicial corruption" "NNDA act" "military prisons" "NSA" and the like...", in fact, it was as if the british king george was pointing the finger and blaming the colonist's woes upon the french instead of himself, whereupon the goblin just sighed "...look, once you saved europe from the nazis, you were welcome as liberators, but what has happened since then is that those neoconservatism policies have now caught up with you..."

("...and this was their reply to that then, and my reply back..." mentioned the goblin who guessed it wouldn't be easy to begin with, adding "...we should have been at this sooner, at lot of important things are happening in the background...")

you know flea, I'd probably be interested in your point of view if you didn't post in some self-aggrandizing writing style I want to read from a persons point of view, not some 3rd person fiction . I don't like feeling I'm reading a editorial fluff piece from the huffington post

"...you're quite right I suppose..." apologized the goblin for the way he wrote, adding "...where it's true that if I were writing with you in mind and for you alone, then yes I'd probably have to keep it real simple much as you're suggesting there, but tell you what now, as a sign of my friendship towards you, just tell me when it's all over your head, that way I'll reword in a simpler manner so as not to have you feel too disheartened about yourself...", in fact, the the goblin didn't know what the huffington post was, but he had seen sesame street instead and thought that might be a starting point towards a readership that he had evidently been missing out upon

evening now, and the muse just looked back at the goblin, repeating , "...no, never write for others, you know that much I guess, just a post has to be something like all or nothing ..." her voice was deliberate now, continuing "...simply you alternate between the vision and its explanation each time, where if you write it's simply a repetition of that isn't it then, you walk between those two states each time, where one has to experience the vision for oneself to its full on the one hand while then being able to explain it to those who can't see your vision on the other...", just the muse was reiterating here that those who wrote lived between these two states as if in some shared life perhaps, so the goblin repeated the muse's pact back to her again exactly in the way that she had first told him all those many years ago, remembering her then too, she never aged, and saying with his smile back at her again "...goblin our little pact goes honesty, a shared life, and a thick skin...", and smiling back with the goblin's reply ready she replied, "..."and what's in it for me muse" you actually asked me didn't you now...", to which the goblin remembered himself, as she continued "...it never changes goblin, that journey to self in each moment, your journey through here then, for what else could you possibly want, and besides what else is really yours to keep anyway...", oh yes she could be most persuasive

"...back to topic then..." smiled the goblin suspecting that those terrorists were about the last of his actual worries at this point, saying "...no, let's say I had a magic wand and that the wicked witch of the middle-east was now dead with dorothy's house upon her, so then where do we stand by it, I mean wouldn't we still have 40billion dollars injected into the system each month, still have the global dedollarfication with its tzunami of returning dollars, and still have post glacial rebound playing havoc with the tectonic plates with yellowstone evidently growing increasingly unstable, yes 500% more earthquakes today than in the year 2000, and still have iceland's biggest volcano going off at this point, not to mention the sleeping giant otherwise known as the newmadrid faultline overdue with its 40nuclear reactors perched upon it, plus wouldn't global wetterning rather than just global warming still be causing weather the likes which we barely knew of ten years ago, moreover, and perhaps the most worrying of all now, wouldn't there be some idiots in the whitehouse still be thinking that because they now have their ABM system up and running that if they launched a preemptive nuclear strike on russia that the russian retaliation could be shot down, and that any nuclear winter that followed ww3 would be survivable given the longterm underground installations prepared for them alone of course...", so this then was how propaganda always worked, it focused the masses into looking in the direction it wanted of them while hiding the bigger picture from them, whereupon the goblin just smiled, and then restarted "...naah, the trouble with a system that grows to rely upon over focused propaganda to forward its basic aims is that they themselves begin to fall for it too, much like the moment when the schutzstaffel took control over from the sturmabteilung in nazi germany of 1934, where today too, the neoconservative agenda is now moving into a new phase of purging the moderates from its midst, thus another war comes, war makes them rich at your expense..."
